(Retired employee of Firestone). Suddenly, at Lakeridge Health Corp. Whitby, on Friday, February 2, 2001, Lanny in his 86th year. Beloved husband of the late Marion (nee Reader). Dear father of the late Linda and father-in-law of Harold Coish. Loving grandfather of Scott, Darren, Sherrie and Valerie. Brother of Mae Elliott of Scarborough. William Brooks of Toronto and predeceased by sisters Emily Brown, Edith Healey and brothers Augusta, George and Albert Brooks. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at McIntosh-Anderson Funeral Home Ltd., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Monday, February, 5, 2001, at 1:00 p.m. Interment Thornton cemetery , Oshawa. COOLEY, Judith "Jude" Frances Elizabeth -
Peacefully on Friday, February 2, 2001 at the age of 42, after a brief but heroic battle with cancer. Beloved wife of Mike. Devoted and loving mother of Sarah and Rebecca. Dear daughter of Audrey Irene Cruise, and cherished sister to John, Debby and Donna. Will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and all her relatives. Jude was a friend to all who knew her and brought joy to any occasion. A wonderful person. A wonderful wife. A wonderful mother. Loving mother of Zilda Lacasse and husband Claude, and Norma Insley and husband Richard. Zena will be missed by her brother Donald Robins and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. MEAD, Willliam Arthur -
Peacefully, on Friday, February 2, 2001 at the Southlake Health Centre in Newmarket, in his 79th year. Much loved husband of Betty (nee Wauchope). Proud and loving father of Paul (Linda), Anthony (Judy) and Scott (Sonia). He was a loving Grandpa of Jennifer, Ryan, Eric, Patrick and Connor. Survived by his mother, Leila in her 106th year. Predeceased by his father Bill and sister Arlene. Cremation has taken place, interment Pine Grove cemetery , Prince Albert. Relatives and friends will be received at the WAGG FUNERAL HOME, "McDermott-Panabaker Chapel", 216 Queen Street in Port Perry (905-985-2171) on Sunday, February 18th, from 12:30 - 1:30 p.m. A Service to celebrate the life of William Mead will be held in the chapel at 1:30 p.m. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Intensive Care Unit at the Southlake Health Centre in Newmarket.

PATTERSON, Estella (nee Dring) -
passed away peacefully in Oshawa, on Friday, February 2, 2001, age 95. Beloved wife of the late Isaac Patterson. Loving mother of Patrick and his wife Diane and Allen and his late wife, Lorraine. Dear grandmother of Steve and his wife Jeong, Scott and his wife Lynda, Shelley Collins, Suzanne and husband Jack Bandy, Jason, Mark, Dean and Alison. Great-grandmother of Ryan, Shannon and Brandon. Dear sister of the late Feleda, Carleton, Beulah, Meredith, Verna, Elsie and Ethelda. Born in Cavan, Ontario, January 21, 1906, she was a lifelong resident of Oshawa and worked as night matron at the Children's Aid Society 1953-1972. Her sweet smile and wonderful sense of humour will be sadly missed by family and friends. Relatives and friends were received at McIntosh-Anderson, 152 King St. E., 152 King St. E. Oshawa (433-5558) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service was held in our chapel on Monday, February 5, 2001 at 3:00 p.m. Interment Groveside cemetery , Brooklin. In lieu of flowers a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

Dearly beloved husband and friend of Diane for 21 years. Stepfather to Douglas and Darrin Whalley. Grampa to Sydney, Tristen and Seth. Brother of Olga Miller, Stephanie Bodnaryk, Effie and husband Jack Zepp, Alex and wife Sheila Andrechuk, Eugene and wife Rhea Andrechuk, Anne and husband Don Curtin, Bill and wife Vicki Andrechuk. Predeceased by brother Peter Andrechuk, Brother-in-law of Donna, and Sheila and Jack Anderson. Fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. May your journey be gentle kind soul. 87 years of age passed away February 1, 2001 at Extendicare Falconbridge. Ioleen was born in Greenbank, Ontario November 15, 1913. She taught in Warren in 1942 and then farmed there with her husband, Ira Clinton (predeceased) for over 35 years. She loved being outside gardening and working on the farm. She is the loving mother of Don (wife Donna). Ellen (husband Gord). Neil (wife Bogna) Joan (partner Jean) and chosen daughter Marion (husband Lloyd). Beloved sister of Edith and George (predeceased) (wife Doreen). Grandmother of Megan, Robin, Brenden, Ryland, Luke, Sharon (husband Gilles), Tommy (predeceased). Great-Grandmother of Crystal (husband Steff) and Lana. Great-Great-grandmother of Scott and Beanca. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association. The family received family and friends at Jackson and Barnard Funeral Home February 3, 2001 at 1 pm followed by the Funeral Service at Jackson and Barnard at 2 pm.
