BURNETT, Marion G, (nee Doble) -
Peacefully on Tuesday March 6, 2001 at Hillsdale Manor, Oshawa in her 89th year. Marion beloved wife of the late Milton Douglas Burnett. Loving mother of Paul and his wife Willie, Hayden and his wife Barb, Byron, Dale and his wife Linda, Lyn and his wife Janet, and Yvonne and her husband Dan Barna. Loved grandmother of Paul, Jason, Scott, Laurie Ann, David, Darin, Anson, Ryan, Daniel, Tommy and James, and loved great-grandmother. Dear sister of Olive, Cora, Isabel and Norm. Marion will be fondly remembered and sadly missed by her family and friends. Friends and family called at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 120 King Street East, Oshawa on Thursday evening. A private family funeral service was held with interment at MOUNT LAWN MEMORIAL GARDENS, Whitby. Memorial donations made to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family

At Extendacare Nursing Home, Oshawa, on Tuesday, March 6, 2001. Gladys Campbell in her 98th year beloved wife of the late Hector Campbell. Loved mother of Betty and her husband Ross Rennie, Frank and his wife Beth. Loved grandmother of Marilyn, Ross, Paul and his wife Lisa, Douglas, John and his wife Evelyn, Donna, Kathy, Laura and her 17 great-grandchildren. Sister of Ivy Warwick, Predeceased by Margaret Pearce, Pat, Frank, Jim, Olive, Quitty, Vera and Max. Resting at Ronald Martino & Son Funeral Directors, Brock Road Chapel, 1057 Brock Rd., Pickering (just south of the 401, east side). Visitation 7-9 p.m. Thursday, March 8. Funeral service complete in the chapel Friday at 11:00a.m. Private interment at Prospect cemetery.

Peacefully, of Ajax and Pickering Health Centre, on March 6, 2001, in his 79th year. Pete will be missed greatly by his loving wife and devoted partner of 57 years, Ethel. Loving father of Lois and her husband David Kueneman (Stouffville), Nancy and her husband Rob McCron (Pickering), and Margaret Grundy (Don Mills). Dear grandfather of Paul Kueneman and Kate (Mount Albert), Jennifer and her husband Darrel Hopp (Barrie) and Scoff McCron (Pickering). Great-grandfather of Sydney How. Special Uncle to Joni, Dave and Glen Wafts (Beaverton), Barb Scaffe (Stouffville), Bob and Audrey Stevenson (Newmarket), and Ina Jackson and Lucas (Scarborough). The family will receive friends at the McEachinie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Aiax (Pickering Village) from 10-11 a.m. Friday, March 9, 2001. Funeral Service fo follow in the Chapel of 11:00 a.m. Interment - Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Should family and friends so desire, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

MAW, Reginald -
Peacefully after a sudden illness at Toronto General Hospital on Tuesday March 6, 2001 in his 65th year. He is survived by his children Bev and her husband Scott Johnston, Karen and her husband Glenn Jarvis, Rob and his wife Kerri, and Reg and his wife Sherry. Dear brother of Carol Thompson, and Peggy and her husband John Alexander. Loved grandfather of eight grandchildren. He will be fondly remembered by his friends. Mr. Maw will rest at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby from 7 to 9pm Friday. Service in the Chapel on Saturday March 10, 2001 at 1pm followed by cremation. Interment will take place at a later date at GROVESIDE cemetery , Brooklin. In memoriam, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

(20 year member of St. Gregory's Roman Catholic Church) Suddenly at home on Tuesday March 6th, 2001. Kathleen aged 82 years. Beloved wife of the late Philip. Loving mother of Kathleen Ward and her husband James, Bernadette Robertson and her husband David, Christopher McHale and his wife Anne, Philip McHale and his wife Laura, Veronica Ongaro and her husband John. Dear sister of Jane Still and Elsie Campbell both of Glasgow, Scotland. Loving grannie of Siobhan, Michael, James, Brendan, Liam, Kathleen, Bernadette, Monica, Alexander, Claire, Kristine, Lucy, Steven, Aileen, Ryan, Keira, Nicola, Devin, Fionna, Sara, Kendra, Thomas, Jane and great grannie of Patricia, Gregory, Emma, Siobhan, Makayla, McKenna, Katelyn, Rachel, Samuel, Bridget, Courtney, Theresa and Elizabeth. Resting at The Armstrong Funeral Home 124 King Street East with Mass of Christian Burial in The Church of St. Gregory the Great (Simcoe and Adelaide St.) on Friday March 9th, 2001 at 10:30 A.M. Prayers will be held Thursday evening in the funeral home at 8:30 A.M. Interment Resurrection cemetery. Donations to Campaign Life would be appreciated. Visitation 7-9 P.M. Wednesday, 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Thursday.

MILOSH, Mary Elizabeth -
(37+ year employee of General Motors). Peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa after a lengthy illness on March 6th, 2001. Mary in her 68th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Patrick. Survived by her son Alex and his sister Heather Milosh-Hodgson. Mary will be sadly missed by her daughter-in-law Ellen and son-in-law Robert. Loving grandmother of Anderley and Dylan. The family would like to extend a sincere thank you to Dr. Chang, Dr. Chiu and Dr. Chiarotto along with 6F Oncology and Palliative Care staff for all of their care and compassion. Friends were recieved at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE “Thornton Chapel” 847 King St. West (721 - 1234) for visitation on Thursday, March 8th from 1 o’clock until time of Service in the Chapel at 3 o’clock. Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Tuesday March 6th, 2001. Stan has gone to be with his beloved wife Nina. He leaves behind his children Frank, Hank & Linda. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Clinton, Shannon, Tanya & Kristyn. Friend of Janina Darlatka & family. Sadly missed by Michelle Saunders & Family, Bev McCagherty & Stella Schrelzer. Stan is a retired employee of General Motors after 30 years of service. Member of the Polish Veteran's Hall. Stan will be sadly missed by all of his family & friends. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East Oshawa, with Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Cross Church on Thursday March 8th, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow at Thornton cemetery. After a long and full life on Tuesday, March 6, 2001, of Lakeridge Health Oshawa, at age 90. Lex Para of Oshawa, beloved husband of the late Jean (flee Belshaw). Loved father of Maureen Para of Pickering and Robert Para of Uxbridge, Loving grandfather of Andrea, Lisa and Rebecca. Dear brother of Alide Para in Esfonia. Lex will also be missed bY his nephews Arvo Rannala of Toronto and Ivo Rannala of Udora as well as many nieces and nephews in Estonia. Rested at the Wagg Funeral Home, “McDermott-Panabaker Chapel”, 216 Queen Street in Port Perry. A Service to celebrate the life of Lex Para will be held in the Pine Grove Church, Concession 7 north of Regional Road 21 (west of Lakeridge Road) in Uxbridge on Saturday, March 10th at 2 p.m. with Reverend Robert Le Page officiating. Interment Hillman cemetery , Utica in fhe spring.
