passed away at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa on Tuesday, June 5th, 2001. June in her 78th year. Beloved wife of John A. Wyatt. Dear mother of Betty and her husband Bob Crosmas, Joe and his wife Liz and Jim and his wife Heather. Fondly remembered by grandchildren Rob, Lezlie, Gillian, Brennan and Jamieson. Sadly missed by her 8 grandchildren. Sister of Frances Barker and the late Jack. Helen, Andy and Sam. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE “Thornton Chapel” 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Thursday, June 7th from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, June 8th at 11:00 A.M. Cremation to follow. Donations made in memory of June to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Eva Smith, loving wife of the late Fred Adair. Dear mother of Donna and her husband Wally Boyle of Sudbury, Betty Dubeau and Bill Luxton of Bowmanville, Jim and his wife Rosemary of Newcastle, and the late Ted and Robert Smith. Mother-in-law of Brenda Smith of Newcastle. Sadly missed by many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great- great-grandchildren, sisters, nieces, and nephews. Visitation at NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S. (Mill St. exit, just north of 401 at the lights, 1-877-987-3964) from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday, June 6. Funeral service in the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday at 2:00 p.m. Interment Bond Head cemetery. FERDINAND, Donald Arthur -
(Originally from Pugwash, Nova Scotia). Peacefully after a lengthy illness at Lakeridge Health-.Oshawa on Monday, June 4th, 2001 at the age of 58. Husband of Marion. Father of David, Dale, Dean, Jean, Donna, Larry, Gary, and beloved father of Cindy. Donald is survived by his 36 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Will be remembered by his brother Evan and Alec and sister Bula all of Nova Scotia. A Service of Remembrance will be held at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE “Thornton Chapel" 847 King St. West (905-721-1234) on Friday, June 8th at 3:00 P.M. At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville, on Sunday, June 3, 2001, in his 57th year. Loving husband and friend to Andrea. Father and pal to sons Jackson and Spenser. Cousin and friend to many in his beloved England. Son of the late Jack and Dorothy Field of Halifax, West Yorkshire. A memorial celebration of Ken's life will be held on Wednesday, June 6, at 11:30 a.m. at NEWCASTLE FUNERAL HOME, 386 Mill St. S. (Mill St. exit, just north of 401 at the lights 1-877-987-3964) with Rev. David Chisling, BA, BEd, MDiv, officiating. Cherished step-grandfather to Paul and Michael. Also will be sadly missed by his brothers George, Reginald and his wife Doreen Smith. Donald is predeceased by Leonard, Celia O'Sullivan and Sylvia Nancekivell. At Strathaven Lifecare Center on Sunday June 3rd 2001. Evelyn Thornton (nee DeGruchy) age 88. Beloved wife of the late James Thornton. Loving mother of the late Heather Forbister, Shirley Gait (Robert), Kenneth (Irene), and Sandra (Jim). Loving Grandmother of 11 Grandchildren, and Great-grandmother of 21 great-grandchildren. Survived by her brothers red and Ralph, and her sister Violet. At Evelyn’s request cremation has already taken place. A memorial service will be held at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Nash Rd. Courtice on Thursday, June 7th 2001 at 2:00 P.M. Interment , Montreal Memorial Park, Montreal Quebec. Memorial Donations to the Heart and Stroke foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to The Armstrong Funeral Home.

Lovingly remembered by her nieces, nephews and close friends.
