DALEY, Robert Francis "Bob" -
peacefully at his home in Oshawa on Wednesday November 21, 2001, at the age of 49. Bob, beloved husband of Debra Whittaker. Loved son of Winnie Daley of Barrie. Dear brother of Joanne and her husband Dennis Chenard, Janice Fossey, and Bryan Daley and his wife Maureen. Loving father of Trevor, Jason, and Nicole, and dear son in law of Brian and Susan Whittaker. Bob is predeceased by his father Francis Daley and his son Christopher Daley. Bob will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his family and friends. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East Oshawa, on Monday November 26th at 1 p.m. Visiting from 12 noon until service time. Memorial Donations made to the Salvation Army would be appreciated by the family.

At Hillsdale Manor on Wednesday November 21, 2001. Maria Roszkiewicz in her 96th year. Beloved wife of the late Frank Roszkiewicz. Dear mother of Eugene Roszkiewicz and his wife Mary and Ludmila Karwowski and her husband Alek. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Roman, Stan and his wife Suzanne, John and his wife Debbie and Diane and her husband RayStancel and her great grandchildren Alexander and John Patrick Karwowski, Jenna and Sydney Stancel and Jennifer, Jeffery and Kristen Roszkiewicz. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East Oshawa, with Mass of Christian Burial from St. Hedwig's Church on Saturday November 24, 2001 at 10 a.m. Interment Oshawa Union cemetery. Prayers will be held at the Funeral Home Friday at 7 p.m. Memorial donations to the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Visitation Friday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.

TREMBLAY, Alphonse Joseph -
On Wednesday, November 21, 2001, in his 84th year at Hillsdale Manor. Beloved husband of Regina (Jean). Loving father of Jim, Rosemary and her husband Mike Davis, Marie and her husband John Wilson, Joanne and her husbanad Ted Young, and Michelle. Grandfather of Nicole, Taylor, Madeline and Teddy. Friends will be received at the Accettone Funeral Home, 384 Finley Ave., Ajax, on Friday, November 23, 2001 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass will be held on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernadette Church (21 Bayly Street East, Ajax). In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

HORSFIELD, Ada Violet (Lund) -
passed away peacefully at home in England in her 82nd year. Violet, beloved wife of the late Dennis Horsfield, mother of Adrian, Aunt of Geraldine, Great Aunt (Nanny) of Anthea, Dale & Larissa. Violet was born and raised in England and immigrated to Canada in the late 50's where she moved to Pickering in 1960. After retirement, she returned to England and then back again to Canada after Dennis passed away. July 2001 she returned once again to her beloved England where her heart was. An informal memorial has been arranged for her friends and family who can't be with her in England, at the Esplanade Park in Pickering, on Sunday November 25th by the gazebo at 1:30 pm.

CLARK, Lionel H. "Bud" -
Following an unexpected and short battle with cancer, Bud died on November 20, 2001 at Campbellford Memorial Hospital. Formerly of Oshawa, dearest husband and best friend to Norma Hall for 54 years. Loving father of Stephen Clark and his wife Geri, David Clark, Robert Clark and his wife Janine. Proud Grandpa of Alex, Megan, Ryan, Lyndsay, Michelle and Nathan. He will be sadly missed by all whose lives he touched, especially his golfing buddies, with his easy going charm and innate sense of humour. Silky will miss her daily walks with her pal. Resting at The Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East, Oshawa with Funeral Service in the Chapel Friday, November 23rd at 2:30 P.M. Visitation from 12:30 to 2:30 P.M. on Friday.

PEELING, Leah 'Bernice' -
Peacefully, at Ajax-Pickering Hospital, on Tuesday, November 20, 2001, in her 92nd year. Beloved wife of the late Victor Blake and Ernest Peeling. Loving stepmother of Glen Peeling of Langley, B.C., Doreen and her husband Ross Suddard, Erlene and her husband Grant Hardy, all of Oshawa, and Gayle Wigley and her husband John Larter of Burlington. Dear aunt to Ruth and her husband Ross Harrison, Lois Spratt, all of Oshawa, and Gale and his wife Bev Smyth of Nepean and the late Sheila Turpin. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-granddaughter and great-nieces and great-nephews. Predeceased by her parents Emma and Walter Lott, her sisters Millie Lott and Florence Colton. Dear friend of Anne Ogilvie of Oshawa. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (905-433-5558), on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Friday, November 23, 2001 at 1:00 p.m. Interment Oshawa Union cemetery. Donations made in memory of Bernice to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

WATSON, Colleen -
Peacefully passed away, on Tuesday, November 20, 2001 at the age of 57, always in our hearts. Dear wife of Bill and loving mother of Nicole, Danielle and Dustin. Devoted grandmother of Zachery. She will be greatly missed by her family and fondly remembered by her many friends. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 11 a.m. Cremation. WOJTIUK, Paul -
Aged 82 years, on Tuesday, November 20th, 2001 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital - Memorial Site. Beloved husband of Anna (Samko) Wojtiuk of Dowling. Loving father of Jerry (wife Ruth) of Toronto, Walter (wife Sharon) and Irene (husband Dan Szalawiga) both of Oshawa, and Mary (husband Gilles Pellerin) of Mississauga. Cherished grandfather of Tanya, Tracy, Jeffrey, Cory and Shannon. Sadly missed by family in Saskatchewan. Born in Hrubieszon, Ukraine he married Anna in Germany in 1945, and they moved to Canada in 1948. He worked at the INCO Lerack Mine for 28 years, retiring in 1976. Paul enjoyed spending time on cars and hockey. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury. Funeral Mass at St. Mary's Ukrainian Catholic Church, 40 Notre Dame Ave., Sudbury, Friday, November 23rd, 2001 at 10am. Interment Saturday, November 24th at 10:30am at the St. Wolodymyr and St. Olha Ukrainian cemetery. Donations to the Diabetic Association would be appreciated. Panakhyda 7pm Thursday. Friends may call 6-9pm Thursday.

passed away after a courageous battle, on Monday, November 19, 2001, at the age of 61. Loving husband of Sharon, devoted father of Janice and her husband Robert, Wayne and Jimmy (predeceased). Brother of Clarence and Patricia. Grandpa of Evan, Kurtis and Brittany. Son-in-law of Albert and Katherine Lemaire. He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, staff and faculty of Upper Canada College. Loving father of Beth McKenzie of Unionville, and Lynn Dulyea of Victoria, British Columbia. Dear grandfather of Joel McKenzie of Unionville. Gordon was a long time resident of Extendicare Oshawa, employee of General Motors and an active member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 43. A special thank you to the staff of Extendicare Oshawa and Dr. Kassiner and the nursing staff of Lakeridge Health Corp. Bowmanville, for all of their care and compassion. Beloved daughter of Beverley and Shirley Edmonds. Loved sister of John Edmonds and his wife Tracy, and Christopher Edmonds and his wife Michelle. Dear aunt of Kyle, Tyler, Tabatha, Mackayla, and Kursten. Predeceased bygrandparents Herbert and Margaret Maguire, and George and Beverley Lewis.
