At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Thursday, March 28, 2002, in her 80th year. Beloved wife of the late Robert Charles Felstead. Dear mother of Dianne Shaw, Sharon Young, Bonnie Hills, Judith Beitle, Brian Felstead, Larry Felstead, David Felstead, James Felstead, Daniel Felstead, Katherine Jordan, Robert Felstead, Lori Hornby and the late Norman Felstead. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Dear sister of Harold and Vic Cornish. Visitation at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St. N., Bowmanville 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral service 1 p.m. Monday in our Chapel. Interment St. John's cemetery , Blackstock. Memorial donations may be made to Hospital for Sick Children or Children's Wish Foundation.

GIBBS, Walter Robert -
WW11 and Korean War Veteran, long-time member of the Canadian Corps, Retired Canadian Armed Forces 1965. Suddenly at his home in Oshawa on Thursday March 28, 2002 in his 92nd year. Walter, beloved husband of the late Helen O'Rielly. Loved father of Joyce LaRocque of Oshawa, Marie and her husband Rowland Lakin of Oshawa, Richard Gibbs and his wife Marion of Niagara Falls, John Gibbs and his wife Donna of Oshawa, and Douglas Gibbs and his wife Carole of Oshawa and is predeceased by daughter June and infant son George. Dear brother of Frank Phelps, and is predeceased by sisters Gertrude Williams, Greta Webb, Eva Phelps and brother Harold Gibbs. Walter was a grandfather of 12, great grandfather of 19 and great great grandfather of 7. Friends may call at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East Oshawa, on Monday April 1st from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Tuesday April 2nd at 11 a.m. Interment Resurrection Catholic cemetery , Whitby. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

JONES, Wynn 'Baron' -
(Retired employee of Massey Ferguson, member of Ontario Forestry Association and the 216 Club Oxford Chapter). Peacefully, after a lengthy battle with A.L.S., with his family by his side, on Thursday, March 28th, 2002 at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa, in his 72nd year. Loving companion of Mary Babcock; dear step-dad of Mary Anne, Cathy, Patti, Lori Jo and his grandchildren Sarah, Adam, Nicole, Jessica, Jeremy, Rachel and two great-grandchildren; Nicholas and Alyssa. Wynn is survived by his brother Hywell, sister Heulwen and husband Jack, Mair and husband Walter and is predeceased by his brother Emyr. He will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews and extended family in Wales and Great Britain. MASON, (Clare) Clarence -
passed away peacefully at St. Michael's Hospital Toronto on Thursday March 28th, 2002. Clare, in his 72nd year. Surrounded by his very loving wife Anne of 50 years and his son Gary and his wife Carol, and Daughter Peggy, Grandchildren David, Danny, Tanya, Chris, and their spouses, Kelly, Kimmy, and Clinton. He is survived by his brother Elgin Mason of Newcastle. He retired from PPG in 1984. Arrangements entrusted to the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East. In honour of Clare's wishes, there will be no Funeral Services. Cremation and interment at MOUNT LAWN cemetery Whitby. Memorial Donations to a charity of choice would be appreciated. A special Thank You to the staff of St. Michael's Hospital for the wonderful care and support during this time.

ROBINET, Marjorie Nance (Carole) nee Baker -
In her 83rd year, died peacefully in her Ajax home on the morning of Thursday, March 28, 2002. Born August 28, 1918 in Worksop, England and later emigrated to Canada, she became a Canadian Citizen on March 18, 1971. Mrs. Robinet predeceases her husband, Mr. Joseph Robinet, with whom she celebrated 58 years of marriage. Carole with her eternal smile, will be missed by many family and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Captain William Baker, formerly of England. She is survived by her loving children, Dolores Zimny of Whitby, Lorraine Banks and her husband David of Oshawa, and David Robinet and his wife Mary of Whitby. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Kimberley Allen nee Banks of Oshawa, Gregory Banks of Oshawa, Jay and Kyle Robinet of Whitby and Alicia Zimny of Whitby. She was predeceased by Michael Zimny. She is also survived by her great grandchildren, Brittany Banks, and Bradley Allen of Oshawa. Services were held on Saturday March 30, 2002 and interment will be at MOUNT LAWN Memorial Gardens in Whitby. The family asks that in lieu of flowers in honour of Mrs. Robinet's love for animals, donations be made to an animal foundation of your choice. The family wishes to extend many heart felt thanks and appreciation to all those persons who helped us during our time of bereavement. Arrangements entrusted to McEachnie Funeral Home.

SUFRIN, Norman Leon -
It is with a profound sense of loss that the family of Norm Sufrin announce his passing, on Thursday, March 28, 2002. After a bravely fought long battle, he is now at rest. Norm, dearly loved husband of Sandra, proud father of Kym, Jon, Ryan, and Meaghan. Fondly remembered by his mother-in-law Theresa Kerr, and brother-in-law John Kerr. Predeceased by his parents Celia and Joseph Sufrin. He will be sadly missed by his dog Fortune. The family will receive friends at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday. Service in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11 a.m. followed by cremation. In memoriam, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.

At the Scarborough Centenary Health Centre on Thursday, March 28, 2002, in her 75th year. Shirley Whyte beloved wife of the late Andy Whyte. Loving mother of Betty and her husband Larry Lachlan, Andy and his wife Corinne, John, Sheila and her husband Mark Barton and the late James. Dear Grandmother of Alicia, Amanda, Nick and Scott. Sister of Margaret, Joan, Paul, Mary, and the late Bill. Shirley will be sadly missed by her many family and friends. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Ajax, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Monday, April 1, 2002 at 11 a.m. Cremation. passed away unexpectedly on March 27, 2002 after a short illness. Beloved wife of the late Edwin (Ted) Brown of Ted Brown's Shoes. Loving mother of David and his wife Anne. Special Grandma to Daniel and Christopher. Shirley will be fondly remembered by many friends and family. Age 55 years. Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Toronto Western Hospital on Wednesday March 27th, 2002. Beloved wife of Peter Campbell for 36 years. Dear mother of Christina & her husband Bruce Munday, Peter Campbell & his fiance Laura Hulaj, Mark Campbell & his companion Nicole Manuel, Robert Campbell & Travis Campbell. Cherished "Grammy" of Brianna, Justin, Shianne & Markie. Survived by her sisters Sandy, Connie, Lyndy & Ivanette. In his 77th year. Suddenly, passed away on Tuesday, March 26th, 2002. Beloved husband and friend for over 50 years of Margaret (Peggy). Loving and caring father of daughter Donna and husband Lewis Warren of Uxbridge, son David and wife Gloria of Alberta, son Terry and wife Marilyn of Keswick, Ontario and son Barry of British Columbia. Predeceased by son Tim of Uxbridge, parents, two sisters and three brothers of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia. Sadly missed by grandchildren Christine Warren of Uxbridge, Lisa, Dawn and Johnathan of Toronto, Tania, Sheena and David of British Columbia and brothers Charles of Nova Scotia and Edward of London, Ontario. A service of remembrance took place in the Uxbridge Trinity United Church Chapel on Saturday, March 30th, 2002. In lieu of flowers, the family have requested donations be made to Lakeridge Health Services, Uxbridge or the Uxbridge Library.
