Peacefully at Rouge Valley Health System Ajax Pickering Hospital on Friday June 7th 2002. Leo, in his 74th year. Beloved husband of the late Jeannine. Loving father of Michel & Marina, Paul & Wanda, and David. Dear Grandfather of Alessandra, Gianluc and Nikole. Leo will be fondly remembered by his brothers and sisters, friends and family. Resting at the Armstrong Funeral Home, 124 King Street East Oshawa. With a Mass of Christian Burial at Assomption de Notre Dame on Monday June 10th 2002 at 11:00am. Cremation MOUNT LAWN Memorial Gardens, Whitby. Prayers will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday at 8:00pm. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated. Visitation Sunday 2-4 pm and 7- 9 pm.

passed away at Lakeridge Health in Port Perry on Friday June 7, 2002 in his 60th year. Phil Bertrand dearly beloved husband of Marianne Bertrand of Seagrave. Loving father of Pat, Tony and his wife Jane and predeceased by his daughter Renee James. Dear father in law of Chris James. Loving grandfather of Haley, Natasha and Amanda. Dear brother of Norm and his wife Alice. Phil will be sadly missed by his many friends and neighbours. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Phil Bertrand was held at the Low & Low Funeral Home, Perry on Sunday June 9, 2002 at 1:30 P.M. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.

(Royal Canadian Navy, WW II). Suddenly at home on June 7, 2002 in his 83rd year. Devoted husband of 58 years to Marion. Loving father to Gary and his wife Lynne, and Erle and his wife Linda. Dear Grandpa to Dayna, Cameron, Brock, Emma (and Danny) and Clayton. Proud Great Grandpa to Jayden. Services were held at Accetone Funeral Home, 384 Finley Ave., Ajax on Monday, June 10, 2002. Interment at Pine Ridge cemetery. If desired a donation in Ross's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.

NOWOSAD, Anna Patricia -
passed away Friday, June 7, 2002 at the age of 42, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Dearly beloved daughter of Petro and Ewdokia Nowosad. Loving mother of Krista and Andrew Sawchuk. Cherished sister of Olia Nowosad and husband Roman Molodynia of London and Natalie Nowosad and husband Phil Henstock of Courtice. Sadly missed by niece and nephew, Olivia and Thomas Henstock. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 11, 2002. Interment at St. Wolodymyr and St. Olha cemetery , Courtice. Thank you to Dr. Osborne and nursing staff at Lakeridge Health Oshawa, and to all of our friends and family who have shown their support during this difficult time. Loved grandson of Jim and Irma Tripp, and Norma and the late Donn Gray, and son-in-law of Ray and Joan Turner, and brother-in-law of Paul and Stephanie. Beloved, wife of the late Ben Bryant. Loving mother of Bev and his wife Diane of Kincardine and Betty Freeman of Alliston. Loving grandmother of Seth (Sandy) Freeman of Lisle, Ont; Tony, (Trish) Bryant of Dublin, Ohio; Brett (Mar­lene) Freeman of Mono / Mills, Ont; Todd (Lori) Bryant of Canton, Michigan; and Cynthia (Mike) Cook of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and dear great grandma of Tern-Lynn, Tyler, Danielle, Jennifer, Ben, and Tara. Sister of the late Bob, Harry, and Sam Donnelly.
