the Great). Suddenly, at the home of her son in Burlington, on Monday, July 1, 2002, in her 9Oth year, Nora (nee Fagan). Beloved wife of the late Dick Marsh. Devoted mother to Judith and her husband John McConkey of Dorset and John and his wife Nancy Marsh of Burlington. Loving Grannie to Aidan and Jennifer McConkey, Honor and Mike and Neil Marsh. Predeceased by her sister Roseanne Vale and her brothers Patrick, John and Thomas Jr. Fagan. Remembered by her nieces and nephews in England. Relatives and friends may pay their respects at the McINTOSH-ANDERSON FUNERAL HOME LTD., 152 King St. E., Oshawa (9O5-433-5558) on Thursday from 6-9 p.m. Prayers at 8:00p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at CHURCH OF ST. Julius was a retired employee of the City of Oshawa (Engineering Dept.) and an avid soccer and hockey enthusiast. At Fosterbrooke Long Term Care Facility, Newcastle on Saturday August 31, 2002 in her 96th year. Doris, beloved wife of the late Royal Stanley Hall. Loved mother of Evelyn and her husband Mark Marchant, Madeline and her husband Elgin Heard and the late Royal Stanley Hall. Mother-in-law to Jean Hall. Dear grandmother of 5 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Clifford, Stanley, Norman, Gordon and Cecil Bruton, and sister Mildred Quinney. HOAR, Ethel (nee Dart) -
After a long and happy life, Ethel passed away on August 31, 2002 in the arms of her husband, Jack. She was in her 81st year. Loving wife and best friend of Frederick John Hoar (Jack) for 62 years, caring mother of Larry & Jean and Louise and Wayne Aasen. Remembered by her grandchildren, Tristanne, Tyler, Melanie, Amanda & Richard. Great-grandmother of Charlotte & Alastair. Survived by brother Charlie (Linda), sisters Sally (Bart) Dennis, Betty (Denny) Hubble. Predeceased by Florence, Jack, Doris, Tom, Lucy, Marg & Glady. Funeral Service was held on Wednesday September 4, 2002 at the W.C. Town Funeral Chapel, Whitby. In memory of Ethel donations to the Diabetes Society would be appreciated by the family.

Dearly loved grandmother of 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Daughter of the late Andrew and Ellen Murphy, sister of the late George and Tom Murphy all of Singhampton. MURPHY, Richard S. 'Dick' -
May 12th, 1938 - August 30th, 2002. It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rick. Suddenly at Lakeridge Health - Oshawa, August 30th, 2002, in his 65th year. Rick spent most of his life in Mississauga, and the past year resided in Bowmanville. Rick was diagnosed with diabetes at a young age, and the past 5 years the disease had taken a toll on his body. He also attended dialysis in Whitby where doctors and nurses were caring for his needs. Sadly missed by wife Margaret of 45 years. Sons, Rick (Barb), Steve (Joanne) and Danny of Mississauga, and daughter Debbie (Ray) Kimmerly of Bowmanville, 8 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
'Rick's strong will to live, his determination, and unselfishness, will inspire us all. He will be in our hearts and prayers forever...'

Loving Grandmother of Andrew and Alison Nicholls of Oshawa. Beloved daughter of the late Mary and John Normoyle. She is survived by her brother Greg Normoyle (Oshawa) and her sister Alice Stovell (Saskatoon). Predeceased by her brothers John, Robert, Daniel, Patrick and Philip and sisters Marion Genereaux and Ruth Greene. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews and friends.
