McDONALD, Wendy -
After a courageous 2 year battle with ovarian cancer, Wendy passed away peacefully with her family by her side on August 3, 2002 at Belleville General Hospital, in her 43rd year. Beloved wife of Ian Campbell. Cherished mother to Dylan and Shannon McDonald and stepmother to Adam and Andrea Campbell. Loving daughter to Joseph and the late Vera McDonald. Also sister to Joanne and John (Margaret). Always remembered by her nephew Jason McDonald. The family will receive friends at the McEachnie Funeral Home, 28 Old Kingston Road, Aiax on Monday from 7 to 9 p.m. and on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at St. Isaac Jogues Roman Catholic Church (1148 Finch Avenue, Pickering). Cremation, Should family and friends so desire, donations to the National Ovarian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Saturday, August 3, 2002 in his 86th year. Beloved husband of Hendericka "Rita" Meyer. Dear father of Peter. Loving grandfather of Lori and Mike and great-grandpa of Summer. Visitation will take place at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville from 10 am Thursday. Funeral Service in our Chapel 11 am Thursday. Interment Bowmanvile cemetery.

(Founder of Presto Pest Control). Peacefully at Lakeridge Health-Oshawa, on Saturday, August 3rd, 2002, Donald in his 75th year. Beloved husband of Mary. Loving father of John and his wife Terri of Oshawa, Dr. Jim Mountjoy and his wife Dr. Jennifer Templeton of Galesburg, Illinois and Catherine of Oshawa. Survived by his brothers Dr. Keith Mountjoy and his wife Evelyn, Lawrence and his wife Marie, his sister Gladys and her husband Earl Fice, sister-in-law Enid Mountjoy and predeceased by his brother Murray. Friends may call at OSHAWA FUNERAL SERVICE “Thornton Chapel” 847 King Street West (905-721-1234) for visitation on Monday, August 5th, from 24 & 7-9 P.M. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, August 6th, 2002 at 1:00 P.M. Interment Thornton cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations to Durham Regional Cancer Centre or Charity of Choice would be appreciated. Donald will always be remembered for his contributions to neighbourhood sports.

Loving mother of Maurice and his wife Mary Anne, Robert, Ron and his wife Lois and Hazel and her husband Alan Raby. Fondly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Friends may call at the Morris Funeral Chapel, 4 Division St., Bowmanville on Monday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service in our Chapel on Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment Hampton Union cemetery. Predeceased by brothers Robert, Mclaren and sister Velda, Parents Kate & Donald. Private family service at a later date.

At Lakeridge Health Bowmanville on Friday, August 2, 2002 in her 85th year. Edith (Archer) of Bowmanville beloved wife of the late Bill Barrett. Loving mother of Margaret (Mrs. Brian Wilson) and Gord and his wife Janice, all of Oshawa. Loving Nan to Andrew and his wife Patty, Kelly and her husband Dave, Matthew and Laura. Loving great Nanny to Gregory, Melissa, Ashley and Meghan. Resting at the COURTICE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 1587 Highway 2, Courtice (905-432-8484) (1.5 km. east of Townline) with Funeral Sence in the Chapel on Tuesday, August 6 at 11 am. The family of Edith will receive friends from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Monday. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Diabetes Association or the Grandview Children’s Centre would be appreciated.

BROWN, Donald Malcolm -
At Aiax-Pickering Health Centre, Friday, August 2, 2002, in his 83rd year. Son of the late James Bernard and Annie Brown. Loving and loved husband of Marion-Dennis Brown of Ajax and the late Muriel Isabella Foulds. Beloved father of Patricia Ann LeVier (Earle), Stephen Bernard Brown (Cheryl) and Valerie Susan Haveman (Russell). Grandfather of Anthony Stephen and Brian Mark Delcotto, Christopher and Kimberley Brown, Cassandra and Caroline Haveman and great-grandfather of Wheeler and Harley and Georgia Brown. Brother-in-law of Leora and David Lawson, John and Eunice Ferrell and Reta Todd. Predeceased by his siblings. Don will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. Family service of committal after cremation at MOUNT LAWN cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held in September at College Park Church in Oshawa. As a remembrance, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Durham or Durham Access to Care, would be appreciated by the family. PHILLIPS, Charles James “Chuck” -
Suddenly at Scarborough Grace Hospital on Friday August 2nd, 2002 at age 66 years. Beloved husband of Mary Evelyn (Sissy) Phillips. Dear father of Stephen (Karen), Darlene (Barry Sanders), Blair, Paula (Ray Sanders), David (Deborah), Ryan, Cory, Troy and Jeni. Lovingly remembered by 12 grandchildren. Survived by brother Robert Phillips. Predeceased by his daughter Patricia & her husband Derek Robertson, parents Matt & Alma Phillips & siblings Edith, Florence & John. Visitation will take place at The Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home 53 Division St. N. Bowmanville 2-4 & 7-9 pm Tuesday August 6th, 2002. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11 am Wednesday August 7th, 2002 at St.
Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Bowmanville. Interment at St. Michael’s cemetery , Cobourg. Memorial donations made to the Hospital for Sick Children would be appreciated.
