Born in Ottawa July 9th, 1922. Peacefully in hospital on Friday, April 7th, 2006 in her 84th year. Beloved wife of Norman McLean. Dear mother of Dr. James G. Anderson and Carol Anderson. Loving sister of H. James Plant (Sherrie). Sadly missed by step-children Tom (Judy), Jane (Guy) and nieces Marilyn (Andy Burans), Barbara (Graham Clarke) and Shirley Plant. Sadly remembered by grandchildren, grand-nephews and grand-nieces. Isabel was educated at Ottawa Ladies’ College and graduated with an honour degree from Queen’s University. She was involved with the I.O.D.E. for many years and was a member of the Royal Ottawa Golf Club. She was a noted creator of beautiful china and worked industriously when in residence at her beloved cottage in Norway Bay. Robert (Bob) Howard Mellor - 04/06/2006
Peacefully, with family at his side, on April 5, 2006 in his 71st year. Beloved and cherished husband of Janice Mellor. Predeceased by his first wife Margaret. Dearest father of Todd, Lori (Keith) and Kirk (Darlene). Loving “Bompa” to P.J., Justin, Megan, Kelsey, Daniel and Amanda. Dear brother of Lois, Barry and Gary (Margaret Anne). He will be fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews. An Ottawa native, Bob was a well known newspaper man, writing for the Ottawa Citizen, Ottawa Journal, Ottawa Today and most recently as news editor for The Low Down To Hull And Back News. He was also a proud member of the National Press Club for 30 years, and served as a Director. An avid skier, Bob was active in the Canadian Ski Patrol and for many summers sailed in the Thousand Islands. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the caring staff at the Elizabeth Bruyere Centre and Ottawa Hospital, with special thanks to Palliative Care doctors John Seely and Sandra Legault. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, April 10 at 11 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 100 Young Street. Suddenly in hospital on March 29, 2006 at the age of 74. Predeceased by parents Arnold and Alta Moffatt and by brother Richard. Survived by brothers Robert (June) of Nanaimo, BC and James (Peggy). According to Allan's wishes, private cremation and interment will be held at Dales Cemetery, Cumberland at a later date.

Of Ottawa and formerly Montreal, passed away in Ottawa on Saturday April 8th, 2006 at the age of 76, after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by his wife Marina, son Russell and two sisters, Irene (Dr. Charles Bird) of Kingston, Beverly of Knowlton, Quebec and numerous nieces and nephews. Retired Transport Canada Public Affairs. Owner, Norm Pascoe Associates. Served many years as a journalist with The Montreal Star. Lt-Cdr, CD, ret’d, Royal Canadian Naval Reserve. Life-long member of Scouts Canada, mainly as a youth leader. Honorary Life Member of the RCMP Curling Club with many devoted to instructing and coaching youth curlers. Marshal of Pine View Golf Course. Norm was a long-time resident of Manor Park.
