56 years, passed away peacefully April 9, 2008. Loving father of Aaron & Kelly Sims, Francois Sims, Daniel Sims & Lori. Cherished Grandpa of Taylor, Morgan, Francois Jr., Brianne and Chloe. Beloved son of Robert Sr. and the late Anna Sims (nee Van Dyke). Dear brother of Betty, Gladys, Gary, Terry, Harry, Geraldine, Steve and Chris. Former spouse of Christina Sims and Carole Clark. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Robert was a retired employee of Ford Motor Company with 35 years of dedicated service. Family and friends will be received at the Morris Sutton Funeral Home, 68 Giles Blvd. East (519-254-8633) on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at the First Baptist Church, 710 Mercer Street on Saturday, April 12, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. Pastor Rosetta O Neil officiating. Mr. Joseph Kalyniuk
January 7, 1921 - March 15, 2010

Kalyniuk, Joseph

passed away peacefully in the presence of his wife Olga of 67yrs on March 15, 2010 at the age of 89. He was a devoted father to Diane Littleford (Deceased), Linda (John) Brown, Judith, Jo-Anne, and Norman (Wanda). Grandpa will be missed by David Littleford, Katrina and Ian Brown. Predeceased by his parents John and Anne and brother John and sister Mary. He will be missed by his sisters-in-law Kay and Maxine, his brother-in-law Rudy and friends and relatives in Newmarket, Thunderbay and Sutton. He worked for the CPR in Thunderbay for 40yrs. He liked all sports particularly golf which was a passion his entire life, This passion he passed on to Norman and Ian. Upon retiring Olga and Joseph moved to Newmarket to be close to their family; that enabled him to attend many sporting events especially Blue Jay games as he was an avid fan. A special thank you to the staff of Eagle Terrace who gave him such good care over the past 18 months. Thank you also to the Doctor's and Nurses at Southlake who took excellent care of him during his admissions. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Heart and Stroke foundation or a charity of your choice. Mass of Christian burial to take place on Saturday March 20, 2010 at St. Elizabeth Seaton Catholic Church 17955 Leslie St., Newmarket at 1pm. Visitation will be from 12-1pm at the Church. Interment St. John's Catholic cemetery.

LAPPAN, Clarence Edward "Car" Unexpectedly on January 28, 2010 with his family by his side. Beloved husband to Mary (nee Renaud). Cherished son of Lucy and the late Clifford "Pepper" (March 26, 2005). Son-in-law of the late Virginia Renaud (March 27, 2009), Beloved brother of Larry and wife Loretta (Tecumseh); Cathy and husband Brendan Coughlan (St. Thomas). Loving Uncle of Jeff and wife Katherine and their children Linden and Campbell (Amherstburg); Jim and wife Maggie (Germany); Rebecca Coughlan (St. Thomas); and Joseph Coughlan (St. Thomas). Brother-in-law of Patrick Renaud and wife Kathryn; Paul Renaud; Roy Renaud all of Windsor; Jane Rosaasen and husband Gary (Miami Beach). Clarence is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. A retiree from Chrysler and local 444 after 36 1/2 years service. Clarence was a Past Grand Knight of Knights of Columbus Council 4375 Tecumseh, 4th Degree Dean Langlois Assembly, Alhambra Garcia Caravan 230, Royal Canadian Legion Branch 261, Past President of Tecumseh Baseball Club, Past President Tecumseh Good Fellows, member and long time usher at Ste. Anne Parish Tecumseh, and a member of Erie Shores Golf and Country Club. Visiting Saturday from 7-9 p.m. Sunday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the Marcotte Funeral Home, 12105 Tecumseh Rd. Tecumseh (519-735-2830) . RCL Branch 261 service Saturday at 7:30 p.m. Knights of Columbus 3rd Degree, 4th Degree, and Alhambra Prayers Sunday at 3:00 p.m. Parish Prayers Sunday at 7:30 p.m. Visiting will resume Monday 10:00 a.m. at Ste. 91 years on April 9, 2008 at Leamington District Hospital. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (2005). Loving father to Marie Frontera, Richard & Elaine and Ronald & Kathy. Proud grand p p of Angela, Mike (Kathleen), Carmela, Lisa (Len), Jennifer (Mike), Jeffrey (Nancy) and Douglas (Jane), Kelly (Jeff) and great-grand p p to Jordan, Olivia, Charlotte, Alexandra, Cassidy, Ian, Braiden, Jenna, Cole, Nathanial, Abbey, Zachary, Samantha, Jonathan, Kaitlyn, Jordan and Lane. Henry is predeceased by his brothers Edgar (Helen), Anthony (Pricilla) and Patrick (Ella) and his sisters Virginia Shapley (Edward) and Cecile Gibbons (Earl). Brother in law to Bernadette St. Onge (Earl). After 35 years with Local 200, Henry retired from Plant #2 at Fords. He was a member of the Good Neighbour Club, Knights of Columbus (Belle River) and was a Veteran of WII and reached the rank of Lance Corporal RCME. Son of Leslie and his wife Nina. Father of Mitchell. Brother of Tracey and husband Jimm. Uncle of Jocelyn and Chelsie. Step-brother of Elizabeth, Christine, Michael and Mathew. Son-in-law of Lenora and brother-in-law of Crystal, Giovanna and Joey. Will be missed by many friends and co-workers. Les lived his life to the fullest. Les was an avid boater and had 28 years of service with Ford of Canada and CAW Local 200. Great Grandmother of Ryan, Steven, Mikayla and Madison. Lovingly cared for by her private nurse and friend Marg MacDonald. Dorothea was a retiree of the Windsor Police Department with 20 years of dedicated service and a member of All Saints Anglican Church, Windsor Police Association, Canadian Wildlife Association and the Canadian Nature Federation.
