passed away on Friday March 28, 2008. Visitation Sunday March 30th 5 - 9pm and Monday March 31st 5 - 9pm at Scott Funeral Home, "Mississauga Chapel", 420 Dundas St. E. (one block west of Cawthra Rd.) Mississauga 905-272-4040. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday April 1st at 11 o'clock in the Scott Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation St. John's Dixie, Mississauga.

Mrs. Dorothy Winifred Reed
March 5, 1929 - March 29, 2008

Peacefully at Aurora Resthaven on Saturday, March 29, 2008 in her 80th year. Loving wife of Dennis for 58 years. Mother to Sandra, Susan, Karen, Dennis Jr., Kathy and their spouses. Grandmother of 9 and great-grandmother of 6. Dorothy will be missed by her many friends, relatives and neighbours and was a Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary to Branch 385, Aurora, Royal Canadian Legion and was an active member for over 40 years. Friends will be received at the TAYLOR FUNERAL HOME "NEWMARKET CHAPEL", 524 Davis Dr., Newmarket, 905-898-2100 from 7 - 9 p.m. on Wednesday. A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held in the chapel on Thursday, April 3, 2008 at 11 o'clock. For those who wish, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated

Peacefully at home, on Sunday, March 30, 2008, James Thomas Sheridan, in his 89th year. Survived by his beloved wife of 62 years Ruth. Lovingly remembered by his children Michael (Carla), Jane (John Rankin), David (Sera) and John (Tonia), his grandchildren Jessica, Anna, Leah and Luke and his brother Jerry (Agnes). Predeceased by infant son James Joseph, brother Jack and sister Noreen Shoniker.

Family and friends will gather at the Township Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Homes, 435 Davis Dr. (Centennial Dr and Taylor-Kidd Blvd) on Tuesday, April 1 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph's Church, Palace Road, on Wednesday, April 2 at 10:30 a.m. Rite of Committal with prayers in St. Mary's cemetery.

For those wishing, donations may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Society or the charity of your choice in memory of Jim.

Peacefully, on Wednesday March 10, 2010 at Kingston General Hospital. Beloved wife of the late Leslie Needham (December 4, 1990). Loving mother to Linda Sucie (Darwin) and Danny Needham (Jeanne). Grandmother to Kelli Leroux (Guy), Kimberly McLaughlin (Brent), Justin Needham and Bryan Needham. Great-grandmother to Cole and Ryan McLaughlin. Predeceased by her parents Joseph Anthony and Mary Ethel Dowd of Montreal, Quebec and predeceased by her daughter Mary.
Funeral Mass to be held at Our Mother of Sorrows Chapel, Providence Manor, (275 Sydenham Street), on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Memorial donations in Pat's memory to the U.H.K.F.-Providence Manor would be greatly appreciated.

RACIOPPO, MICHAEL ANTHONY - - passed away after a lengthy illness on Saturday, March 13, 2010 in his 90th year. Loving husband of the late Mabel Doris Racioppo. Cherished father of Mary Beaver (Joe), Carmen, Ken, Darlene (Robert Irvine), Roseanne (Bob Liscombe), Michael (Doris), Rick, Frankie (Marilyn), Rocky (Nicole) and Anthony (Pat). Devoted Grandpa of 38 grandchildren and 34 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held at the McEACHNIE FUNERAL HOME, 28 Old Kingston Rd., Ajax 905-428-8488 on Monday, March 15, 2010 from 2:00 4:00 pm and 7:00 9:00 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 16, 2010 at 11:00 am. Interment at St. Margaret in the Pines. If desired, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Peacefully passed, following a brief illness on March 13, 2010, at North York General Hospital at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Grignion. Devoted father of Keith, Elaine (Philip Dias), Avril (Robert MacDonald), Nigel (Melissa), and the late Lynette. Proud Grandfather of Cassondra, Nicole, Graham, Andrew, Adriana, and Kevin. He will be well remembered for his strength, courage, and endearing humour by his family and friends. Visitation will be held at HIGHLAND FUNERAL HOME- MARKHAM CHAPEL, 10 Cachet Woods Ct. (northeast corner of Hwy 404 & 16 Ave) 905-887-8600, on Friday from 2- 4 & 7 - 9 pm. A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday March 20, 2010, at St. Paschal Baylon Church (92 Steeles Ave. W.) at 9:30 am. It is with great sorrow the family announces the sudden passing of a loving mom and grandma on Tuesday, March 25, 2008. She passed away peacefully in her sleep at her home in Ajax. Leaving behind her husband George. Born and raised in Timmins , Ontario , where she studied linguistics and later moved to Toronto with her young family. She completed a successful career with the North York School Board which she took great pride in. During retirement she settled in Ajax where she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Carolee will always be remembered as a loving, unselfish and dedicated mom with a passion for cooking and collecting Swarovski Crystal. Carolee will be sadly missed by her loving children Wayne and his companion Darlene, Glenn and his wife Sandy, Wendy and her fianc David. Beloved grandma of Crystal , Melanie, Angie, Amanda, Ryan, Jean, Colton , Matthew, Darian and Andrew. A private service has been held for immediate family. A celebration of Carolee s life with friends and family will be held on Saturday, April 5th at 2 p.m. at Glenn & Sandy s home located at 29 Emperor Street in Ajax. Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated.

Born August 11, 1933 and passed away peacefully on March 28, 2008 with family by his side after a short battle with cancer. Beloved husband of Shirley (nee O'Keefe) of 54 years. Loving father of Carrie and husband Joe Theriault, Doug and wife Lise and Shawn and wife Sharon. Extended dad to Dennis Monaghan of Sault Ste. Marie. Dear Papa to Jennifer and husband Tim Findlay, Heather and Joe Jr. Theriault and Janine, Cooper and Kennedy Theriault, Valerie and husband D.J. Clifford, Danny and fiance Paula Sauro, Brittany and Holly Robinson and great-grandfather to Owen Findlay and Quentin Clifford. Foster grandpa to Corey and Ella. Dear brother to John, Shirley Wilsie (Gerry), Jim (Pat), Mary Holden (Bill), Kath Cloutier (Paul), Marg Douglas (Bill), Donna and predeceased by brothers Herb (2004), Fred (2006) and sister Virginia (2005). Will be missed by several nieces and nephews. Robbie worked for Thibodeau-Finch Transport for 30 years. He was also a member of the Knight's of Colombus St. Theresa Council #9793. Visitation will be held at Victoria Greenlawn Memorial Chapel & Reception Centre 1525 Highway #3 (1 km west of Walker Road 519-969-3939) on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-5 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. Parish prayers will be held on Sunday at 4:00 p.m. and K of C Prayers will be held under the auspices of St. Theresa Council 9793 on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. The funeral service will be held in the chapel on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. Fr. Richard Cartier officiating. Cremation will follow and the interment of cremated remains will take place at Victoria Memorial Gardens at a later date. In kindness memorial donations to Canadian Diabetes Association or to the Wellness Centre c/o Metropolitan Campus would be appreciated by the family. Mr. Louis Wilfred Dufresne
June 17, 1945 - March 13, 2010

At the age of 64 years, after a courageous battle with cancer. Late of McGregor. Loving husband of Diane (Dee) (nee Warren). Beloved father of Laurie (Brad) and Julie. Loving grandfather of Cori Alexis, Charlotte Avery Rose and Ainsley Claire. Brother of Dennis (Yvonne). Predeceased by parents Wilfred (1974) and Cecile (2006) and by brother Edmond (2001). Brother-in-law of Betty Dufresne. Louis was a retired foreman at Auto Warehousing (formerly Gen-Auto Shippers). He will be remembered as Mr. Fix-it being happiest working in his garden and around the house. Louis loved spending time with his grandchildren. The family thanks the nursing staff of the 4th Floor at Met Hospital for their care and compassion. Visiting will be held at the Marcotte Funeral Home and Chapel, 12105 Tecumseh Road, Tecumseh (519-735-2830) on Tuesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will be held from the Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 17, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to Wings Avian Rehabilitation Centre, 5281 Middle Side Road, Amherstburg, Ontario N9V 2Y9 would be appreciated by the family.
