STEPHENSON, Beatrice Mary - Finally at peace, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Friday, October 6, 2000, at the Shaver Hospital, at 81 years of age. Loving mother of Wesley Stephenson, Margueritte & her husband Hank Wach, Jerry Stephenson & his wife Mariesa, Donna Marie & her husband Bob Callicott, Lillian & her husband the late Mario Santesso. Predeceased by her husband Wesley and her daughter Helen Ann. Proud grandma of 16 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Also survived by her brother Gordon Dilts. Mrs. Stephenson was a member of the Martindale Friendship Club. Mrs. Stephenson is resting at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St., until Wednesday, where a funeral service to celebrate her life will be held in the chapel at 12:00 noon. Interment will take place at Victoria Lawn Cemetery. Visiting hours are Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Memorial remembrances to the Hotel Dieu Oncology Clinic would be appreciated by the family.

WATSON, Josephine Rose (nee Legato) - Peacefully, surrounded by her family, on October 5, 2000, in her 81st year, at Versa Care Centre, St. Catharines. Beloved wife of Robert. Dear mother of Gerald and Lynda Smith. Loving grandmother of Brad and Mandy Smith, and D'Arcy and Michelle Smith. Great-grandmother of Quinten and Grayson Smith. Sister of Joe Legato. Sister-in-law of John and Jean Gallagher, and Jean Watson. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Resting at the M. A. CLARK & SONS FUNERAL HOME, 567 Upper Wellington Street, Hamilton, on Saturday from 7-9 p.m. and Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service Monday, October 9, 2000, in the Funeral Home Chapel at 1 p.m. followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

Loving mother of Kimberley (Robert) Lander and Helen (Jeff) Grist. Dear grandma of Garett. Dear sister of Florence Vine, Betty Cochrane and Dennis Setford. Predeceased by her brother Edward. Margo will be lovingly remembered by nieces, nephews, family and friends. Family will receive friends at the GEORGE DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 585 Carlton St. on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Christian Science Service to celebrate Margo's life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, memorial remembrances to First Church of Christ Scientist, St. Catharines or Niagara Peninsula Children's Centre would be appreciated by the family.

BEATTY HOLLAND, Marie (nee Critelli) - It is with great sadness that the family of Marie Beatty Holland announce her sudden passing on Wednesday November 8th in Inverness, Florida. She will be missed by her husband Clifford Holland, his daughter Doran Holland and by her children Mary Barr, Martha Beatty-Parry, James Beatty, Margaret Beatty-Collins and her grandchildren Bobby, Ryan, Jessica, Katie, Meaghan, Justin, Owen and Tessa. Marie is predeceased by her first husband James Hughes Beatty. Marie was President of the May Court Club and held various volunteer positions with the Kidney Foundation of Canada. Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in St. Julia's Church at 11:00 a.m. on Friday November 17th. Rite of committal will follow in Victoria Lawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the Kidney Foundation, Patient Services would be appreciated by the family.

MORIN, Monique (Lehoux) - Peacefully at her residence, with her loving family by her side, on November 14th, 2000, Mrs. Monique (Lehoux) Morin of Welland, in her 51st year. Beloved wife of Philippe Morin. Loving mother of Philippe Jr., Raymond and Rene, all of Welland. Cherished daughter of Leontine Lehoux. Dear sister of Rejean (wife Linda), Laurent (Michelle), Marc (wife Diane), Bibianne Resch and Lilianne (Michel Beauparlant), all of Welland. She is predeceased by her father Ludger Lehoux. Mrs. Morin was born in Welland and remained a resident of the city where she worked at Canadian Tire Acceptance Call Center for nine years. She also owned and operated Phil Health Center for Women (nine years). The family will receive relatives and friends at the Welland Funeral Home, 827 East Main St., Welland, Wednesday from 2-4 nd 7-9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Friday in Eglise du Sacre Coeur for Requiem Mass at 10 a.m. The Rite of Committal will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. A Vigil for Mrs. Morin will be celebrated at the Funeral Home on Thursday at 8 p.m. As an expression of sympathy, donations or Masses to Eglise du Sacre Coeur or the Women's Place Inc. will be appreciated by the family.
