CARSON, Charles Peacefully at Almonte Country Haven, Almonte, Ontario on Wednesday, October 11, 2000 at age 90. Charles Carson beloved husband of Micheline Katherine Koniac. Dear father of Janet Carson, Ottawa and Vickie (Mrs. Stephen Racey), Pakenham. Also survived by three grandchildren. Predeceased by three brothers Alex, Morris and Mooney. Friends may call at the Kerry Funeral Home, 154 Elgin Street, Almonte for visiting on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service in the CHAPEL on Friday at 10 a.m. Rev. Heather Kinkaid officiating. Interment United Cemeteries, Carleton Place. Donations made to The Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the Carson family.

CASEY, Madeleine (nee Soubliere) Passed away in a local hospital, on October 10th, 2000 at the age of 81. She is survived by her husband, John Casey, 2 sons: Tom (Adele Jolicoeur) of Orleans, Dan (Sandra Mowat) of London, England; 4 grandchildren: Kristina (Mark Simonson), Annik, John and Andrea; 2 sisters: Lucille (Marcel Barbier) of Montreal, Jeanne Soubliere Masse of Hull. She also leaves 1 sister-in-law Audrey Casey of Ottawa. Also survived by many nephews and nieces. VISITATIONS: Thursday, October 12th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. FUNERAL SERVICE: to be held on Thursday, October 12th at 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Wife of the late Karl Heinz Thom. Beloved mother of Claude (Nicole), Pierre-Andre (Claudette), Jean-Marc (Darquise), Estelle (Ghyslain) and Monique (Robert). Predeceased by 2 sons Marcel and Bernard. Beloved grandmother of 14 grandchildren, Alain, Jean-Francois, Anne, Pierre, Sylvie, Julie, Martine, Roch, Dave, Sonia, Michel, Marc, Melissa and Alexandra and 7 great-grandchildren, Patrick Genevieve, Michael, Francis, Marie-Pier, Karine and Mathieu. She is also survived by 1 brother Maurice (Simone), 2 sisters Rita Rodier and Carmelle (Jean-Paul). Predeceased by 3 brothers Bruno, Gerard and Claude and by 1 sister Louisette. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and many friends. Relatives and friends are invited to the religious service Friday, October 13, 2000 at 2:30 p.m. at the Ste Rose de Lima Church, Gatineau. She was a member of Westboro United Church since 1948 where she taught a Sunday School class for many years and later served as accountant and auditor for the United Church Women.
