NEUMAN, Wendy Mae On Monday, October 9, 2000, age 24 years. Wendy is the beloved daughter of Darwin Neuman of Palmer Rapids and Linda Neuman of Barry's Bay. Loving friend of Sebastian Bialkowski of Toronto. She is lovingly remembered by her brother Jeff (Pauline) of Palmer Rapids and sister Krista Golding (David) of Bowmanville and is the cherished granddaughter of Bernadette Plebon and Reinie Neuman. Loving aunt of Leisha, Braden and Madeliene Neuman. Friends may call at O'Reilly Funeral Home, Barry's Bay on Wednesday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service will be on Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Emmanuel United Church in Schutt. Donations to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada or to the Children's wish Foundation would be appreciated.

Beloved husband of the late Maude Christina Butcher. Loving father of Wayne (Jane) of Rochester Hills, Michigan; Linda Stearns (Gary) of Waterloo, ON and Nancy Rodents (Brian) of Evansville, Indiana. Cherished grandfather of Sean, Matthew, Becky, Amy and Tyler. Dear brother of Lois Thomas (late Ed), Winston, Leita Shipman (Fred) and predeceased by a brother Clarence (Peggy) and a sister Adalyne Bennett (Jim). Friends may call at the Lannin Funeral Home, Smiths Falls from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday. Funeral Service will be held at the St. John's the Evangelist Anglican Church, Smiths Falls at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday October 14, 2000. Interment Hillcrest Cemetery, Smiths Falls. BLAIS, Mary Grace (nee Leblanc) A woman of tremendous courage, beauty and determination passed away peacefully, Tuesday June 13, 2000 at the Centre Elisabeth Bruyere, Ottawa. Grace Blais age 80 years. Widow of Henri Blais. Loving and proud mother of Louise, Suzanne (Gumpert) and Pauline. Dear mother-in-law to Tony Gumpert and Guy Morazain and fond Nana of Andrea and Michael Gumpert; Sasha and Mathew Morazain. Predeceased by her brothers Rupert, Leo and Percy Leblanc and a dear friend Romeo Arsenault. Grace is cherished by many nieces, nephews, cousins and good friends from coast to coast. From her early years in a one room school house in the Gaspe, QC, Grace enjoyed a long teaching career with the Canadian Armed Forces in Bagotville, St. Hubert and Baden Baden, Germany, retiring in Ottawa and wintering in Florida. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. To her daughters, she is our woman of distinction. Special thanks to the staff and caregivers at the Pallisades Residence and the Centre Elisabeth Bruyere. Cremation. A Mass in Memory of Grace Blais will be held on Saturday June 17, 2000 at Holy Cross Church, 685 Walkley Rd., Ottawa at 11 a.m. In memoriam donations to the CNIB or the Centre Elisabeth Bruyere appreciated.
