BARTER, Barbara Tuesday, February 29, 2000. Barbara Carter age 65. Widow of Frederick Barter. Loving mother of Daryl (Deborah), Valerie and Glenn. Proud "Grandy" of Derek, David, Justin and Stephane. Daughter of Anna and the late John Carter. Fondly remembered by her brothers Donald (Gail) and Ronald. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 1255 Walkley Road (east of Bank) Thursday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service Friday in the chapel at 11 a.m. Interment Capital Memorial Gardens. In memoriam donations to the Kidney Foundation appreciated.

BISSON, Bernadette (nee Chevrier) Peacefully in Pontiac Community Hospital, Shawville, Quebec on Sunday, February 27, 2000, age 68 years, after a lengthy battle with lung cancer. Daughter of the late Alfred Chevrier and Irene Thibault. She will be sadly missed by her children Robert (Clair), Claudette (Pierre Robinson), Elizabeth (Alain) and Serge. Predeceased by her sons Andre, Laurent and Albert. Survived by sister Lorraine. She will be fondly remembered by her grandchildren, nephews and nieces. A special word of thanks to her close friends Ernie and Lucille for their loving care and support. Friends may call at the W.J. Hayes & Sons Funeral Home, Quyon, Quebec on Tuesday, February 29, 2000 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, March 1st to St. Mary's Church, Quyon, Quebec for Mass at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Dear grandfather of Matthew and Julie Munro and Jessica and Isabelle Bruce. Dear brother of Bill (Eleanor) Bruce of Belleville, Frances (Norman) Fraser of Arnprior, Mary (the late Jim) Fiander of Ottawa and Shirley (Reg) Wagenblass of Arnprior. Brother-in-law of Alice Bruce of Arnprior. Predeceased by brothers John and Fred. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Son of the late George and Mabel (Hunt) Bruce. Resting at THE BOYCE FUNERAL HOME LTD., 138 Daniel Street North, Arnprior where friends may pay their respects on Thursday, March 2, 2000 from 12 noon until 3 p.m. service time in the Chapel, Rev. Ron Hunt officiating. Spring interment St. George's Anglican Cemetery at Fitzroy Harbour. In memoriams to the Canadian Cancer Society appreciated by his family.

Dear grandmother of 15 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren and 6 great--great-grandchildren. Survived by sisters-in-law Isobel Coyles, Bette Campbell and Jean Coyles. Predeceased by her grandson Bruce, five brothers and four sisters. Friends may call at the ALAN R. BARKER FUNERAL HOME 19 McArthur Ave., Carleton Place on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Reverend Jim Baldwin officiating. Grandmother of Alan Champion, Surrey, B.C., Darren Champion, Abbotsford, B.C. and Michelle Champion of Ottawa, Ontario. Also surviving are 3 great-grandchildren. Sister of Marion (Robert) MacMurdo, North Bedeque; Phyllis (Jack) Lister, Calgary; Eric (Georgie) Taylor, Cornwall; and Edgar (Irene) Taylor, Hamilton, Ontario. Sister-in-law of Carol Taylor, Scarborough, Ontario. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brothers Lee and Ivan Taylor, sisters Ernestine Hogg and Olga Duggan. Resting at the Davison Funeral Home, Kensington, for visitation on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Friday at St. John's Anglican Church, St. Eleanors at 2 p.m. Interment later in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
