KANE, Ron "The Lord is my Shepherd" Ron passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 6, 2001. He is dearly loved by his wife Pauline, his children, Francis and Kristen, Peter and Michelle, his mother, Teresa, mother-in-law, Viola Blackman, his uncle, Pat, and his dog, Buddy. The celebration of Ron's life will be a Funeral Mass of Christian Burial in St. Edward's Church, Westport, on Friday morning at 11 o'clock. Followed by Rite of Committal at St. Edward's cemetery , Westport. Family and friends wishing to share happy memories of Ron will be received on Friday from 12:30-4 and 7-9 at the Westport Legion. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to South Crosby Public School Computer Library Fund would be appreciated by the family. Much loved mother of Barbara Stevenson (Don), Bernadette Peirson (Bob), Bradley Kent (Sandra) of B.C.; Brian Kent (Lisa). Fondly remembered by her 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren (the 5th is expected shortly). Predeceased by a granddaughter Sandra Stevenson. Loving sister of Ada Fox (Claude), Ford Raymo (Marie) and the late Leo and Viola. A service of remembrance will be held at Cataraqui cemetery at a later date. Survived by his sister Betty and her husband Claude Scott of Bowmanville. Predeceased by his brother Jack.
