LeClare, Zareefa Josephine Suddenly at her home on Friday March 1, 2002. Zareefa (nee Sheik) of Owen Sound in her 64th Year. Wife of the late Douglas LeClare Loved mother of James and his wife Nora of Surrey, B.C. Dear sister of Kal Sheik and his wife Joan of R.R. 2 Owen Sound and the late Menthourah and her husband Herb Willis of Owen Sound. Sadly missed by her Nieces and Nephews and a great Nephew. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Tuesday evening 7 to 9 and on Wednesday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., thence to St. Mary’s Church where the Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday afternoon at 1 o’clock. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery. Parish prayers will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 8,30 p.m. Memorial donations to either the Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Diabetes Association would be appreciated.

Lovingly remembered by four grandchildren, Tina, Michael, Jennifer and Michelle and two great-granddaughters, Samantha and Cassandra. Sister of Ida Melmer of St. Thomas. Predeceased by two brothers Cecil and Russell. The funeral service will be conducted in the Chapel of Lee Manor on Wednesday, March 13th at 2,00 p.m. with Pastor Jack McClelland officiating. Sadly missed by thirteen grandchildren Todd, Tim, Sabrina, Ryan, Jessica, Jennifer, Stefanie, Jonathan, Matthew, Brent, James , Jordan and Connor and two great grandchildren Marley and Questalisha. Lovingly remembered by nine grandchildren, Geoffrey, Jaime, Rebecca, Rachel, Kate, Brendan, Seanna, Josef, Marley and two great-grandchildren, Jimmy and Lucas. Also survived by two brothers, three sisters and her sisters-in-law, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her parents Frederick and Sarah Rush and her son in law George McLeod. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Daniel, Tara-Lynn and Laura. Ivan had a dedicated 35-year career as a machinist at Russell Brothers in Owen Sound and made a hobby of restoring antique gas engines until overcome by Parkinson’s Disease. Brother of Bill and his wife Dorothy of Elora, Margaret and her husband Carl Hall of Alma . Brother-in-law of Shirley Fairweather of Fergus. Predeceased by his brother Arthur. A family service will be conducted at Sanctuary Park Cemetery in Port Elgin at time of interment. Cremation has taken place.
