Dear grandfather of Katherine and Melanie Cardinal, Evan and Kali and Kimberly Courtis, Alex and Zoe Frankland, Brian, Mikey, James, and Elizabeth Brand. Son of Fabian (Merl) and Anna Bourgeois. Brother of Merl and his wife Colleen, Sarnia, Rick and his wife Cheryl, Sarnia, Fred and his wife Elynda, Lantzville, B.C., Connie and her husband John Wright, Sarnia, and Lorraine Scott, Sarnia. Uncle of Trevor and Nancy Bourgeois, Nadine and Don Frayling, Tanya Bourgeois, Jarrod Wright, and several great nieces and nephews. Son- in-law of Jeanette Paquin, Forest and brother-in-law of Bert & Lillian Laanstra, Sarnia, and Chuck and Wendy Johnston, Brighton. Jim worked for B&D Insulation, and was a member of the Sarnia & District Bowling Association. He was very well known and liked in the Bowling Community. Jim's love of the game was second only to the love of his family. Cremation has taken place. A service in celebration of Jim's life will be held at 12 noon on Friday March 9, 2001, at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia. CHAVES - Faustino Chaves, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph's Palliative Care Unit on March 5, 2001 at 4 a.m. in the morning, surrounded by his wife and family. He is survived by his wife Leonor Chaves and siblings Manuel DaCunha and late wife Leonor, Conceicao DaSilva and late husband Clarimundo, Aldina DaSilva and late husband Antonio, Belmira DeMelo and husband Manuel, Delminda DaSilva and late husband Manuel, Liontina DaCunha and husband Bernard, all of Sarnia. Brothers and sisters-in-law Leonia Picanco and husband Jose of Sarnia, Manuel and Argentina Veiga, Maria and Manuel Alves of Portugal, 23 nieces and nephews and many cousins and close friends. CHARLOTTE ELIZABETH OGDEN (nee MAGEE) TRUSLER on March 13th, 2001 in Sarnia. Much loved wife of John Edward Trusler. Loving mother of John (Joan), Jupiter, Florida, James (Elizabeth) Ingersoll, Harry, Manchester, N.H., Tamar (Andrew), Toronto, Richard, Sarnia, Charlotte Knight (Ross), Ottawa. Loving grandmother of Halley, Piper and Sasha, Julia and Sarah. Also survived by her brother Lawrence Magee his wife Virginia and their family of Penticton, B.C. Born in Detroit, Michigan in 1922 Charlotte grew up in the Maritimes where she attended Edgehill School for Girls, Windsor, N.S. In 1943 she joined the WRCNS and while in Halifax, N.S. met and later married her husband John. Her family will miss her love and gentleness. She was a wonderful lady, feisty too, UEL on both sides. Active with the IODE, Norman Rogers Chapter, avid quilter and devout member of St. George’s Church. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11,00 A.M. at St. George’s Anglican Church.
