Dear mother of Suzanne and her husband Norman Riopelle, Mt. Brydges, Fr. Robert Champagne, Pastor of Immaculate Conception, Pain Court and St. Philippe, Grande Point, Evelyne and her husband Robert St. Onge, Point Edward, John and his wife Carla, London, Michael and Melissa, Palmerston and Denise and her husband Robert Thomas, Sarnia. Loving grandmother of Marc, Rachelle, Paulette, Lynne, Michelle, Jennifer, Christopher, Danny, Michael, Renee, Devon, Dominec, Brianne, Jammie and Joel. Great-grandmother of Jacob, Noah, Broden, Paige and Gabriella. Sister of Roch Gascon, Quebec and Cecile Hache, Hawkesbury. Predeceased by 9 brothers and sisters. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Beloved wife of the late Erminio Iacobelli. Loving mother of Leonello Iacobelli and his wife Maria, Anna DeCarolis and her husband Pasquale, Adelaide Greco and her husband Augusto, Onorio Iacobelli and his wife Onoria, Maria Esposito and her husband Roman, the late Orlando Iacobelli and his wife Linda, the late Iolanda DeCarolis and her husband Giovanni. Cherished grandmother of 21 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren. Sister of Giuseppa Frezza and Giuseppe Catenacci. Also survived by brother-in-law Francesco Iacobelli and his wife Giovanna of France. Predeceased by her parents and five brothers and sisters. Vittoria was a member of St. Peter’s Church, and the St. Francis Cabrini Catholic Women’s League. Predeceased by his parents Alex and Edna McPherson and his granddaughter Joan Stoudt. John Edward was a past president of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 447 Corunna, a member of Branch 388 Wyoming, a retiree of Imperial Oil, a member of the Canadian Corps., and the Eagles Club. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. with Fr. Ray was a veteran of WWII with the 4th East Yorkshire Regiment. He was an original member of Queen of Peace Church, Polish Alliance of Canada, Group 14, Polish Combatants Association, Branch 11, S.P.K. and retired from Dow Chemical in 1985 after 32 years of service. Loving father of Peter, Bright's Grove, Christine (Mrs. Peter Knox), Union, Kentucky, U.S.A.. Grandad of Matthew and Siren Knox, Robert and Barbara Knox, all of Florence, Kentucky, U.S.A. and Robert and Eric Melady, Bright's Grove. Brother of Lily (Mrs. Ron Carter) and families, Hull, England, Marie McDonald and families, Sarnia. Predeceased by his wives Anne Marie (Ciura)(1990) and Grazyna (Bikowski)(1999). Loving father of Barbara Jean Murphy, Toronto and Bridget Murphy, Sarnia. Cherished grandpa of Nita Punnett and Cloe Murphy, Toronto. Dear brother of Molly Delacour, Sarnia, Marlene Dally, Camlachie, Maureen Lowry, Mississauga. Special step-brother of James Thomson, Waterloo and Robert Thomson, Charlottetown, P.E.I. Uncle Gord to many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by son Ross Murphy, parents J.W. & Mabel Murphy, step-mother Jean Murphy, first wife Vanita DeMilt Cary Murphy and brother Ross Murphy. A retired employee of Dow Chemical, Gord was the Captain of the sloop 'Interlude', past Commander of the Sarnia Power & Sail Squadron,member of the Sarnia Yacht Club and a Ham radio operator. Gord loved downhill & cross country skiing gourmet cooking, making great wine and beer, and will be remembered for his terrific sense of humour and for always being the consummate host. Cremation has taken place. Funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Friday, September 21, 2001 at St. John-in-the-Wilderness Church, Bright's Grove. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery. Beloved husband of Sally (McEachern) O'Reilly. Father of predeceased son James Michael (1988), Mary Jane Thomson, London, sons Mark and Patrick, Joan Olsen and husband Tony of Point Edward. Daughter-in-law Cheryl Meade and husband Stan. Also survived by grandchildren Stephanie and Andrew Thomson of London, Rosie, Duncan, Luke and Jaqueline Meade of Bright's Grove, Trevor, Sarah and Corey Olsen of Point Edward. Brother of Mary Heffron (Dick), Patrick (Marge), Michael (Mary Jane) of Courtise, Teresa Davies (Ted). Jim, a lifelong Sarnia resident, worked at Dow Chemical for 38 years. He retired in 1987. Former President of the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Lambton Chapter. Member of Joe DeRush's 1975 Senior B Provincial Fastball Champions. Jim was an avid golfer at Greenwood Golf Club and Senior Club Champion in 1993. Longtime member of St. Benedict's Church and its' Senior Choir and fondly remembered for his singing on Good Friday and Midnight Mass on Christmas. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Benedict's Church, Sarnia, Wed. 10,30 am. Family and friends will be received at McKenzie and Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia on Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 pm. Great-grandmother of Sean, James and Jonathan Abrams, Rachel and Hillary Lanier, Brian and Bradley Harris. Predeceased by husband Joseph S. Ustupsky and son Joseph A. Ustupsky and eight sisters and one brother in Poland. Mrs. Ustupsky was born in Poland, moved to Orava, Slovakia prior to coming to Canada in 1929. She moved to Sarnia in 1936. Bernice was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Slovak Church, Holy Rosary Society, Canadian Slovak League Branch 17, Canadian Slovak Benefit Society Branch 42 and Slovak Catholic Union.
