STEEVES - Peacefully surrounded by her loving family at Alexandra Hospital, Ingersoll after a courageous battle with cancer on Saturday, August 19th, 2000. Patricia Ann Steeves (formerly Patricia Fishbach nee Lawrence), beloved wife and best friend of Kirt Steeves of Ingersoll. Devoted mother of Christopher Fishbach of St. Thomas, and Cathy Fishbach of Ingersoll. Loving step mother of Heidi and Eric Steeves of London. Friends will be received at The Ingersoll Funeral Home, 59 King Street West, Ingersoll on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday from 7-9 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, August 22nd at 2:00 pm. Reverend Roger McCombe officiating followed by cremation with interment of ashes at Elmdale cemetery , St. Thomas. Memorial donations to the Cancer Society would be appreciated.

WOLLAND - Annie of Bobier Nursing Home, Dutton and formerly of St. Thomas, on Saturday, August 20, 2000, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 95th year. Belovedwife of the late Rev. Edwin John Wolland. Predeceased by a sister Dorothy Proctor and 2 brothers Harry and Charles Hall. Sadly missed by Carol and Brian Johnson and family. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Elmdale cemetery. Visitation Monday from 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the First United Church Memorial Fund. A donation will be made to the Memory Gardens of Pinafore Park in remembrance of Annie.

BOND - At Extendicare, Port Stanley on Sunday, August 20, 2000. G. Everett Bond of R.R.#5, St. Thomas, in his 79th year. Husband of Mrs. Jane (Vandervort) Zavitz-Bond and the late Mrs. Nellie (Fishleigh) Bond (Apr. 26, 1987). Father of Mrs. Marie Roberts and her husband David of R.R.#1, Sparta, Mrs. Alice Goodall and her husband Garry of Marthaville and late infant, Brian E. Bond. Grandfather of Elena, Darryl, Emily, Kerri and Alica. Step-father of Katrina, Phoebe, Martha, Daniel, Louisa and James and their families. Brother of Mrs. Berniece Egypt of Petrolia, Mrs. Winnifred Stuchberry and her husband Fred of Sarnia and Mrs. Gladys Cousins of St. Mary's. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his 1st wife and son, Mr. Bond was predeceased by 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., St. Thomas on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at the Sparta United Church on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Sparta cemetery. Memorial donations to the charity of one's choice gratefully acknowledged.

FRY - Dr. Rowe, peacefully at St. Joseph's Hospital on Sunday, August 20, 2000. Warren Rowe Fry, C.A., M.D., of London, age 88, beloved husband for 57 years of Vernona (Wilson), loving father of William Fry and his wife Elizabeth, and grandfather of Jonathan of Sarnia, Jason of London and Tracey Lynn Wall of Leamington. Dear brother of Kenneth Fry and his wife Jean of St. Thomas and Marjorie Hayes and her husband Howard of Sarnia. He will be fondly remembered by his nieces and nephews. Dr. Fry was a member of Dundas Centre United Church and a life member of the Optimist Club of London. He served with the RCNVR and on loan to the British Royal Navy during World War II. Friends may call on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the James A. Harris Funeral Home, Richmond Street at St. James where the funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, August 23 at 11:30 a.m. by Rev. Keith Rameshwar. Interment in Mt. Pleasant cemetery. Memorial contributions to Parkwood Hospital, Veterans Care or to the charity of your choice would be gratefully acknowledged.

MENG - Sreng of St. Thomas, on Monday, August 21, 2000, at the London Health Science Centre (Westminster Campus), in his 55th year. Beloved husband of Hoa (Tou) Meng and dear father of Soktien Meng and her partner Din Chan and Boutien, Huoitien and Kiemhui Meng, all of St. Thomas. Loved grandfather of Jason, Alicia and Tiara. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. Visitation Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.

VANDENWYNGAERT - At her residence on Monday, August 21, 2000, Ida Catherine VandenWyngaert of Kingston, in her 94th year. Beloved wife of the late August VandenWyngaert (1958). Dear mother of Robert VandenWyngaert and wife Jean of R.R.#5, Aylmer and Lucienne Coppens and husband William of Kingston. Sister to Stephanie, Odile and Bertha of Belgium. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and a number of great grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 daughters Yvonne VanOverLoop and Eliza VandenWyngaert, a son Marcel VandenWyngaert, 2 sisters Marla and Julia, 2 brothers Emile and Louis and 3 grandchildren. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where prayers will be held at 8:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows R.C. Church on Thursday, August 24, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. Interment Queen of Peace cemetery. Father Gilbert Simard officiating. Donations to the charity of one's choice would be appreciated.

MARSHALL - Donna (Blaxall) of St. Thomas, on Monday, August 21, 2000, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 85th year. Beloved wife of the late Clarence Marshall and dear sister of Jack Blaxall of St. Thomas, Helen Hammersley of St. Thomas, Phyllis Blaxall of London, Leonore and her husband Bud Willsie of Indiana and the late Louis "Lou" Blaxall (1992), the late C. Kenneth Blaxall and sister-in-law of Shirley and her husband Chuck Paul of St. Thomas. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Interment Elmdale cemetery. Visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Elgin-St. Thomas or the Shriners Hospitals. A donation will be made to the Memory Gardens of Pinafore Park in remembrance of Donna.

ROSSITER - George Raymond at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, on Saturday, August 19, 2000, in his 73rd year. He will be sadly missed by his wife Norma Janice (Greer) Rossiter, his daughter Sharon Nieli and her husband Paul of St. Thomas, his son Robert Rossiter and his wife Aline of Bethlehem, Connecticut, and his grandchildren Trevor and Colette. Mr. Rossiter was predeceased by his grandson, Tyler. Brother of Sylvia Pearce of St. Thomas, Harold Rossiter of Sunridge, Carl Rossiter of Orangeville, Marjorie Hastings of Orangeville, and the late Wilfred Rossiter, Lydia Dalton, Syd Rossiter and Herbert Rossiter. There will be no funeral home visitation or funeral service. Cremation took place at Woodland Crematorium, London. There will be a private family graveside service held at Elmdale Memorial Park, St. Thomas. The R.E. Allen Funeral Chapel, St. Thomas, Ontario is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

BOURQUE - Suddenly in Rodney on Friday, October 27, 2000 Joseph Aldea A. Bourque of R.R. # Dutton in his 47 year. Beloved husband of Mary (Shelley) Bourque. Loving father ofPauline Bourque and Nicholas Bourque at home, Thomas and Irene Bos of Strathroy, James and Jessica Bos of London. Loving grandfather of Zachery and Logan. Survived by his brothers and sisters, Edward and Jackie Bourque ofArkona, Doug and Thea Bourque of Ingleside, Marie and Ron Luce of St. Thomas, Raymond and Sandi Bourque of Calgary, Phillip Bourque of Rodney, Flora and Jerry Graham, Vera Djordjevic, Hank and Shirley Bourque all of Newbury and Phyllis Adamson of Bala. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents Oliver and Lucille (Morreau) Bourque, brother Frank Carlton and sister Virginia King. Relatives and friends will be received at the Arn Funeral Home, Dutton Monday 2-4 & 7-9 where the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 31 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation. Interment of ashes in Fairview cemetery. Donations to the charity of yourchoice would be appreciated.
