Gunn, Sinclair (Clair), 77 years, Wednesday, January 30, 2002 at Hotel Dieu Grace Hospital, Windsor. Dear brother of Betty Emerson and husband Don, Leamington; Bill Gunn and wife Ruth, Brampton. Dear uncle of John Emerson, Sue Thomson, Jill and Udo Renner, Janet and John Giurissevich, all of Leamington; Anne and Al Gertzbein, Milton; Kathy and Rob Reid, Cheltenham; Lori and Sid Bradley, Mississauga. Also survived by 15 great nieces and nephews. Clair was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #84, Leamington; a letter carrier for Canada Post for over 40 years and in earlier years was active in many sports in the Leamington area. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home 14 Russell Street, Leamington on Sunday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service to celebrate Clair's life, from the Funeral Home, on Monday, February 4, 2002 at 1 p.m. Rev. Beloved husband and best friend of 55 years of his wife Joan (Cowan). Loving father of Dr. Peggy Patterson, Calgary; Dr. Jamie Meuser and wife Catherine Scott, Toronto; Patty Kristy and husband Mark Kristy, Gord Meuser, all of Leamington. Cherished "Poppa" and grandpa of Andrew, Geoffrey and Stephanie Patterson, Anna, Charles and Philippa Scott Meuser, Skye DeFrancisco and husband Christopher, Dylan Kristy, Gregory, Emily and Houston Meuser and great grandpa of Maxwell DeFrancisco. Dear brother of Dorothy Campbell, Waterloo. Predeceased by his parents, Edna May (Speers) and Dr. Edwin N. Meuser, 2 sisters, Margaret Day and Helen Lennie. George was a thirty year teacher, counsellor, administrator with the Essex County Board of Education and its predecessor boards at Essex, Kingsville and Harrow High Schools. He was a longtime member of Leamington United Church and Sea Breeze Community Church in Dwight. He was a Past President of the Leamington Lions Club. George's committment to Masonry throughout his life was evident in his involvement in the following, Past Master of Leamington Masonic Lodge #290 A.F. & A.M., member of King Cyrus Chapter R.A.M. Leamington, Imperial Conclave St. John #11 Windsor, member of Windsor Lodge of Perfection Windsor Chapter of Rose Croix, member of Moore Sovereign Consistory, honourary member of Supreme Council, honourary Inspectors General of the A&ASR, member of Mocha Temple, London and Sunparlour Shrine Club, member of R.O.J. London Court #56. Visiting at the Reid Funeral Home 14 Russell Street, Leamington on Thursday 2-5 & 7-9 p.m. Memorial Service to celebrate George's life from the Leamington United Church on Friday, January 18, 2002 at 2 p.m. Rev.
