Atkinson, John Harold (Jack)
Peacefully at the Norfolk General Hospital, Simcoe on Sunday, March 25, 2001, Jack Atkinson in his 88th year, husband of the late Mildred (Fess) Atkinson, dear father of Janet and Bill Weatherston of Beachville, Joan and Murray Shepherd of Jarvis, Joyce and Russell Smith of Caledonia, and Ron and Beth Atkinson of Cheapside. Predeceased by son Robert (1953) and grandson Kenneth (1968). Survived by twelve grandchildren, brother of Keith Atkinson (and the late Eva) of Cheapside, brother-in-law of Raymond Fess (and the late Jean) of Simcoe. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jack farmed all his life in Cheapside and was well known for his herd of milking shorthorn cattle. Special thanks to Dr. Thompson and the nursing staff at Norfolk General Hospital for their compassionate care. The Family will receive friends at the HYDE & MOTT CHAPEL, R.H.B. Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., Hagersville, 2-4 and 7-9 Tuesday. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Wednesday at 1 p.m. Interment Cheapside United Church cemetery. As an expression of your sympathy, donations may be made to the Cancer Society or St. John's Anglican Church, Cheapside would be appreciated by the family.

At the West Haldimand Hospital, Hagersville on April 9 2001, Mark Kinnear age 88 years, beloved husband of Edith (Williamson) Kinnear, loving father of Alvin & Lorna Kinnear of Parry Sound & Lois & Jack Armstong of R R 5 Cayuga, dear grandfather of Scott & Bettyann Kinnear of Winnipeg, Sara Kinnear of New Liskeard, Rick & Annette Armstrong of Cayuga, Greg & Lise Armstrong of Cayuga, Drew & Susan Armstrong of Cayuga, Alan & Jacqui Armstrong of Caledonia, Marilyn & Andy Robertson of Caledonia, Brenda & Ron Taylor of Caledonia, Dale Armstrong of Cayuga, & Steve & Paula Armstrong of Cayuga, great grandfather of Tyler, Jacob, Mark, Paul, Ian, Emily, Charles, Kiersten, Andrea, Lauren, Jessica, Alexandria, Jonathon, Duncan, Elspeth, Stuart, Calum, Liam, Ronnie, Julia, Samuel, Taelor, Kaitlyn & the late Katie. Brother of Ellen Misener, Kate & Bob Harmer, & the late George Kinnear, Grace Hedley, & Elmer Kinnear, also survived by sister-in-laws Myrl Kinnear & Esther Kinnear. Resting at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B.Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd. Hagersville 7-9pm Thursday, 2-4 & 7-9pm Friday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Hagersville on Saturday at 10,30am. Interment Hagersville cemetery. Prayers 8,30pm Friday.

MacDonald, Rose Venedam & Nigel Pollard, John David Venedam, Jodean Larkham, Lisa Venedam & Chuch Burger & the late R.J. Venedam, dear grandmother of Mark & Barry Squires, Jessie Venedam, K.T. Venedam-Pollard, Tyler & Amanda Venedam, Cory & Chris Larkham, Racheal Venedam-Burger, great grandmother of Sydney Rose. Schweyer, Scott James "Toad" As the result of an accident on September 22, 2001 Scott "Toad" Schweyer age 14 years, beloved son of Jim & Virginia Schweyer of Cheapside, loving brother of Wendy & Cindy Schweyer. dear grandson of Lionel W. Massie & Esther, & the late Gladys Massie & Howard & Evelyn Schweyer, nephew of Reg & Betty Schweyer, Kelvin & Bonnie Schweyer, Leo Jr. & Susan Massie, Keith Melick & the late Gloria Melick, also fondly remembered by several cousins. Scott is a student at Hagersville Secondary School. The Family will receive friends at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B.Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., Hagersville 2-4 & 7-9pm Monday. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday at 1pm. Interment St. John's Anglican cemetery , Cheapside. After a lengthy illness at home on Wedenesday September 26, 2001. Brian Whitman age 60 years of Hagersville. Beloved husband of Maria. Loving father of Anthony and Maria of Hagersville, David and Michelle of Burlington, Geoffrey and Melissa of Hamilton, and Brian and Mandi of Victoria, British Columbia. Proud grandpa of Zoe, Izabella, Emma, and Michael. Brother of Guy and Mary Ann of Victoria, British Columbia. Also will be sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. Brian was a retired teacher after 32 years with Hagersville Secondary School. A Memorial Service will be held at St.Mary's Roman Catholic Church, Hagersville on Saturday September 29, 2001 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis Society of Ontario or the Canadian Cancer Society. The family wishes to express a heartfelt thanks to friends, colleagues, and the community for their caring support.

Will be sadly missed by husband Arnold, daughter Sherry Colville (Robin), sons Bill (Julie), Jason and Jeff, and 6 loving grandchildren Jaclyn, Graham, Jennifer, Gareth, Tara and Mitchell. Also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by brothers Earl Lees, Ross Lees, and sister Mary May. Private funeral service will be held later at Hyde & Mott Chapel, Hagersville. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Lupus Society would be appreciated.

Edna has been involved with Marshall & Slote Milk Transport, Hagersville in the mid 40's, G.H. Marshall & Son Lumber, Cayuga from 1949 to 1987, and a member of Grace Baptist Church, Simcoe. The Family will receive friends at the Hyde & Mott Chapel, R.H.B.Anderson Funeral Homes Ltd., Hagersville 7-9pm Monday & 3-5 & 7-9pm Tuesday. Funeral Service in the Chapel on Wednesday at 11am. Very special Grandpa to Andrea & Pat Garvie, Victoria McKeen & fiance Davin Nigh & Emaleigh & Davin Peart, great grandpa of MaKayla Garvie. Dear brother of Fred & Beryl Peart, Donelda & Leonard Reu, Betty & Elson Reu & the late Joseph Peart, and a special brother of Mabel Peart, Frances Nelles & the late Eleanor Thompson & Geraldine Luke.
