BALE - Barbara of Talbotville, on Monday, December 4, 2000, at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital, in her 75th year. Beloved wife of John Edward Bale and dearly loved motherof Joe and his wife Karen Tigani, Stratford, Patrick and his wife Liz Tigani, Stratford, Brian and his wife Kolleen Tigani, St. Thomas, Randy and his wife Roxanne Bale, Iona, Jeremy Bale and his partner Sylvia Aires, Wallacetown, Brenda and her husband Jeff Brear, Union and Cindy Dekort of Glanworth. Loved grandmother of Lisa and Rick Kuepfer, Karen and Joe Tigani, Shannon Tigani, Natalie Pullar, Sher Palmer, Brie and Amy Tigani and Jill,Pam, Heather and Jennifer Dekort, Matthew, Joshua and Ben Bale and Devon, Deanna, and Tristan Brear and great grandmother of Aidan and Erin Kuepfer and Tessa Tigani. Dear daughter-in-law of Mona Bale of Glanworth. Dear sister of Pat Whitham, Dorothy Constable, Doreen Knight, Grace Sargent and Beryl Elvidge, all of England. Also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Thursday at 1:00 p.m. Interment Evergreen cemetery , West Lorne. Visitation Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Barbara.

KRUGER - At her residence on Tuesday, December 5, 2000. Amelia Natalie Kruger of Chateau Gardens, Aylmer in her 99th year. Dear mother of Elsie Gilbert and her husband Don of Aylmer and the late Charles Kruger (1982). Loving grandmother to Patricia Gilbert-Sturm of Toronto, Catherine Gilbert of Huntsville and James Gilbert of Whitby. She will be sadly missed by her great grandchildren Rene, Jean-Luc, Eric, Candice and Evan. Predeceased by her husband John Kowalizen (1984). Friends may call at the H.A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Thursday 7-9 p.m. where a private family funeral service will be held on Friday, December 8, 2000 at 10:00 a.m. Interment , Aylmer cemetery. Rev. Graham Burkhart, officiating.

McKINLEY - Suddenly at the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital on Tuesday, December 5, 2000, Mr. Donald "Don" B. McKinley of London, in his 64th year. Husband of the late Mary Lou McKinley (1985). Loving father of Tom and his wife Terry of London. Doting Papa of Shauna, Marilu, Erin and Thomas. Visitation in the Lloyd R. Needham Funeral Chapel, 520 Dundas Street, London, Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral service will be conducted on Friday, December 8th at 10:00 a.m. Interment Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens, London. Memorial contributions to the Children's Hospital of Western Ontario Foundation would be appreciated.

BURGAR - Sadie of Elgin Manor, on Wednesday, December 6, 2000, at her late residence, in her 97th year. Beloved wife of the late John A. Munro (1934) and the late Lee Roy Burgar (1968). Dearly loved mother of Neil Munro of St. Thomas, Isabel and her husband Gordon Feagan of Owen Sound, John and his wife Geraldine Munro of Port Stanley, and Don and his wife Noreen Munro of St. Thomas. Predeceased by a daughter Eleanor A. Munro (1931) and a son Charles J. Munro (1944). Dear sister of Ethel McPherson of Wallacetown and step-mother of Noral Burgar Holmes of Fingal. Sadly missed by 9 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Predeceased by 2 brothers Charlie and Jack Ashmore and by 2 sisters Ruth Nott and Marion Hyde, and a step-son Jack Burgar (1976). Also survived by a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas where funeral service will be held Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Interment Fingal cemetery. Visitation Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the charity of choice. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Sadie.

GALLOTTI - Lucia, passed away in Thunder Bay on Thursday, December 7, 2000, after a length illness. She is survived by 8 children including Milly Campeau (Larry) of St.Thomas. She leaves behind 20 grandchildren including Gordon Campeau of London, Brenda Campeau Gordon (Chris) of St. Thomas and Brian Campeau of St. Thomas. Lucia is also survived by 28 great grandchildren including Cara, Sean and Daniel Gordon of St. Thomas and Travis Clark of London. Funeral arrangements through Blake Funeral Home in Thunder Bay (807-623-6446).

JONES - At his late residence in St. Thomas on Wednesday, December 6, 2000. Stanley B. Jones, formerly of R.R.#1, Port Stanley, in his 79th year. Beloved husband of Mrs. Anna (Dummer) Jones. Dearly loved father of Robert Jones of Port Stanley and Ralph Jones and his wife Sue of R.R.#1, Port Stanley. Cherished grandfather of Richard "Dick" Jones of Vancouver, B.C., Leslie Jones, Chris Jones, both of St. Thomas, Scott Jones, R.R.#1, Port Stanley and the late Michelle Jones (1991). Dear brother of Betty N. Jones of Toronto and the late Glen Jones. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Sifton Funeral Home, 118 Wellington St., st. Thomas on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. where the funeral and committal service will be conducted on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Hunter cemetery , Lake Rd.,Southwold Twp. Memorial donations to the Elgin Military Museum, Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, C.N.I.B. or the charity of one's choice gratefully acknowledged.

LUXTON - Jill Reta of St. Thomas, passed away Thursday, December 7th, 2000, in her 44th year, at home after a long and brave struggle. "I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith." II Timothy 4:7. Jill is the youngest and dear daughter of the late Fred Luxton (Sept. 21, 2000) and Reta Luxton of St. Thomas. Loved sister of Elaine Holland and her husband Ken ofFingal and Judith Schmitz and her husband Charles of Massachusetts. Sadly missed by five nieces- Cherie Alderton (Greg), Cara Mueller (Richard), Cathy Adams (Matthew), Amy and Jennifer Schmitz and one nephew Bradley Schmitz, great aunt of Emma Jasmine Mueller. Resting at Williams Funeral Home, 45 Elgin St., St. Thomas and then to the Bible Baptist Church where funeral service will be held Monday at 11:00 a.m. Interment Elmdale cemetery. Visitation Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Remembrances may be made to the St. Thomas-Elgin General Hospital Foundation (Palliative Care), the Victorian Order of Nurses, the Canadian Cancer Society or Bible Baptist Church. A tree will be planted as a living memorial to Jill.
