JOHNSTON - EDITH (GUNNING) JOHNSTON passed away on Saturday November 9, 2002 in her 94th year at Trillium Villa in Sarnia, Ontario. Edith is survived by her son Dennis and his wife Waverley and two granddaughters Jill Howie and her husband Kraig and their two children Kayleigh and Conor of Sarnia and Julie Johnston and her husband Paul Godley and their daughter Kate of London. Edith is predeceased by her parents William Gunning and Liba Bailey, three brothers and two sisters. Edith was also predeceased by her husband Creighton Johnston in 1988. Her family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Trillium Villa, Edith's home for the past three years. Funeral service in the chapel of the Weaver Family Funeral Home, 77 Second St., Campbellford, on November 12, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. celebrated by The Rev. Jim Cullen. Interment Burnbrae Cemetery. Pepère to Bonnie and Paul Houle, Sarnia, Steve and Leslie Arseneault, Carrie, Jessie and Jodi Crow-Beauchamp, Jeannine, Christine, Michael, Joe, Paul, Philip, Johnny Beauchamp, James, Richard, Michelle, Phillipe, and Emilie Rail, Jennifer and Dan Ladouceur, Adele and Greg Burns and Erik-Lee and Gabriela Olsen. Bobbie-Jo and Derek Dochstader. Nathan Ansell. Grand-Pepère to Emily and Justin Houle, Aidan Burns, Hailee Beauchamp. Brother of Ulric Losier, Olga Losier, Rose Sonier, Médard Losier. Predeceased by siblings Leonard, Arthur, Mérilda, Ernest, Flore, Regina and Médard Hector and parents Reuben and Flore. Philipe was a retiree of AF of L Carpenters and Joiners Local 1256 and he was a member of l’Age d’Or. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 N. Christina St., Sarnia 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Sunday where prayers will be offered at 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 a.m. Monday at St. Thomas Aquinas Church. Interment Our lady of Mercy Cemetery. McDermott, Nadine Helen

McDERMOTT, NADINE HELEN, born January 7, 1926 in Timmins, Ontario, died peacefully on October 28, 2002 in Sarnia, Ontario. Beloved wife of fifty-one years of Edward Patrick McDermott. Devoted mother of Sheila, Gail, Charles (Deborah), Paul (Allison) and Michael. Treasured Granny to Arden, Connor, Ian, Alison, Miranda, Jack and Abigail. Predeceased by her son Patrick, daughter Theresa and granddaughter Laura Helen. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Wednesday where prayers will be offered at 8 p.m. A Mass celebrating Nadine's life will be held Thursday, October 31, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society, 401 St. Clair St., Point Edward, N7V 1P2., in Nadine's memory would be greatly apppeciated.

Predeceased by her parents Lawrence and Annie Lennon. Mary was a member of the Catholic Women's League of St. Benedict's Church, and a member of the Sarnia Catholic Curisllio. Dear grandfather of Nicholas, Oakville, Roman, London, England, Jonathan, London, Ontario and Michael, London, Ontario. Survived by sister-in-law Marie and 2 nephews Bogdan and Mark all of Poland, a sister-in-law and family in Toronto and a sister-in-law and family in Los Angeles. Stanislaw is a survivor of concentration camps, inluding Auschwitz. He is a retiree of Polysar of 35 years and an active member of Queen of Peace Church. Visitation at the McKenzie & Blundy Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 431 Christina St. N., Sarnia, Saturday 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be celebrated 2 p.m. Sunday at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church. SAUVE - 1929 - 2002 November 21st, after a long and courageous battle, the family announces the passing of dearly loved husband, father and grandfather; MAURICE SAUVE, in his 74th year. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 49 years Rita Sauve, sons; Robert & wife Carol and their children Heather, Angela & Brent, Sarnia; Bradley & wife Nance and their children Danielle, Jessica & Nicole, Boston; daughter Joanne Desjardines & husband Henri and their children Steve & Kevin, Grenville, PQ. Also survived by two brothers Raymond & wife Jean, Norman & wife Pat and sister Clarisse Lacroix, all of Sarnia; many nieces and nephews and in-laws in Hawkesbury, ON and Grenville Quebec. Maurice was a proud member of the K of C Council 1429 since 1965. He was Fourth Degree Past Grand Knight Past Faithful Navigator and Former District Deputy.
