Ietswaard, Walter (Wally) Suddenly as the result of a motor vehicle accident at Vermilion Bay, Ontario on Monday, August 26, 2002. Walter (Wally) Peter Ietswaard of Owen Sound, just six days past his 29th birthday. Loving husband of Tammy Mosier. Dear father of Zachary of Windsor. Loved son of Linda and her husband Dave Weller of Arnstein, Ontario and Peter Ietswaard of Estaire, Ontario. Dear brother of Suzanne (Ann) McReavy and her husband Darryl Becker of New Hamburg, Michael Ietswaard and his wife Louise Donahue of Alban and Debra-Ann Weller of Arnstein. Uncle of Johnathon and Crystal McReavy of New Hamburg. Nephew of Frank and Gwen Ietswaard of Brampton. Also survived by many cousins. Predeceased by a cousin Raymond, both sets of grandparents and by his Aunt Sue Ietswaard two months ago. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Friday evening from 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Saturday, August 31st at 10:00 a.m. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the HHT Foundation, c/o St. Michael’s Hospital, 30 Bond Street, Toronto, Ontario M5B 1W8.

King, William John

King, William John “Jack” Peacefully at his home surrounded by his family and friends on Sunday, November 3, 2002. Jack King of Owen Sound in his 70th year. Survived by his best friend and partner Carol Rodger. Father of Jason King and his wife Julie of Orillia and Leah Sylvest and her partner Rob Logan of Owen Sound. Special father to Tim Rodger, Keri Nicholls and her partner Clayton Urbshott all of Owen Sound. Sadly missed by six grandchildren, Nickolas, Kurtis, Spencer, Emily, Megan and Mathew. Brother of Dave, Jim and Garnet all of Owen Sound and Syd of Cambridge. Brother-in-law of Sandra and Carol King of Owen Sound. Predeceased by a sister “Birdie” (Mrs. Ivan Morton) and two brothers Al and Bob. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel of Tannahill Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 6th at 3:00 p.m. with Doctor Brad Clark officiating. Visitation two hours prior to service time. Cremation, Flesherton Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society.

Lawton, Russell Harry Of Owen Sound and formerly of Winnipeg, passed away on August 4, 2002 in his 63rd year. Beloved father of Glenn and his wife Michelle of Edmonton and Heather and her husband Peter Pettigrew of Owen Sound. Grandfather of Jill, Brittany, Ashley, Rylan, Brianna and Carolyn. Also survived by his sisters Joan Toma of Surrey, B.C., Clarice and her husband Tom Fitzpatrick and Marilyn and her husband John Baron all of Winnipeg. Predeceased by his wife Carol and his parents Harry and Claire. A funeral service will be held in Winnipeg. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated and may be made through the Tannahill Funeral Home 519-376-3710.

MacKinnon, Eleanor Viola At Lee Manor in Owen Sound on Sunday, November 17, 2002. Eleanor MacKinnon (nee Askin) of Owen Sound in her 96th year. Wife of the late Kenneth MacKinnon. Dear mother of Mary and her husband Barry Roszell, Ross MacKinnon and his wife Lorraine and Sheila and her husband Jack Milne all of Owen Sound. Sadly missed by 17 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Also survived by her daughter-in-law Shirley MacKinnon of Owen Sound, three sisters, Alice Cruickshank and Dorothy Blue both of Owen Sound and Wilma Adams of Hanover. Predeceased by her son Colin MacKinnon, one granddaughter, Anne Lorraine MacKinnon, one brother Jack Askin, two sisters, Eileen Matson and Myrtle Dunfield and a daughter-in-law Wilma MacKinnon. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted at Division Street United Church on Wednesday, November 20th at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Hillcrest Cemetery, Tara. As expressions of sympathy, the family would appreciate memorial donations to The Cancer Research Foundation.

Dear mother of Rick Mower and his wife Shelley of Waterloo and stepmother of Shelbey and Garrett of Havelock. Loved grandmother of Nickolas and Cassidy. Daughter of Pearl and the late Gordon Lang. Also survived by a brother Jim Lang and his wife Darlene and a sister Pauline and her husband Steve Stewart all of Barrie. Aunt of David Lang, Kerri Juneau and Stephanie and Jeffrey Stewart. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted in the chapel on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock with Dr. Brad Clark officiating. Lovingly remembered by five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Brother of Barbara Champion of Leduc and Verna Summers of Markdale. Sister of Charlotte Klein and her family in Germany and sister-in-law of Inge Exner and her family of Ancaster. A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

Beloved husband of Victoria “Vicki”(nee Hansler). Dear father of Wendy and her husband Charles Gow of Owen Sound, Debbie Wootton of Barrie, Cindy Gardiner and her friend Brent McMullen of Owen Sound. Loving son of Evelyn and the late Frank Bondi. Sadly missed by 5 grandchildren Todd, Shawna, Jay, Corey and Caitlin and 6 great grandchildren. Also survived by his brother Louis and his wife Hilda of St. Catharines. Good friend of Larry Gardiner. Predeceased by a sister Marie Fleming. Friends are invited to the Tannahill Funeral Home for visiting on Wednesday evening from 7-9 p.m., thence to St. Mary’s Catholic Church where the funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 11 o’clock. Loving father of Shirley and her husband Earl Hough of Grand Bend, Wanda and her husband Alex McLachlan of Parry Sound, Ruby and her husband Bill McDermott of Alliston, Marnie Lippiatt of Prescott and Lynda and her husband Jim Gehrels of Thunder Bay. Sadly missed by thirteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Predeceased by two brothers Harold and Bert and a sister Margaret Shields. The funeral service will be conducted at First Christian Reform Church on Thursday, December 26th at 1 o’clock with Pastor George Holtof officiating. Visiting at the church two hours before the service. Interment, McLeans Cemetery. Memorial donations to the First Christian Reform Church or the charity of your choice would be appreciated.
