Sept. 4, 1943 – April 4, 2011
It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Marlene McGregor at The John M. Parrott Centre on Monday, April 4, 2011. Beloved daughter of Mildred (Marlin) and the late Victor McGregor. Dearest sister of Maurice (Laura) and Gary (Heidi). Fondly remembered by her many aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as her neice, nephews, and friends at ARC. Cremation has taken place, with a celebration of Marlene’s life planned for the summer. The family wishes to thank the staff at The John M. Parrott Centre for their loving care of Marlene. Dear mother of Evelyn Brunton (Arthur); Mary Gordon (Lynn) of Napanee; Helen Fraser (Russell) and Bonnie Smith (Tim) of Roblin; and Chris Dennison (Kathy) of Marlbank. Predeceased by her infant son Paul and her parents Percy Guy Whitfield and Agnes Jane (nee Carroll). Lovingly remembered by 7 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Arthur Whitfield (Jean of Sandhurst) and Mary McKeown. Suddenly, at the Kingston General Hospital, on Thursday, March 24, 2011. Gayle Ruby Lemieux of Napanee at age 65. Beloved wife of Lonnie Moss. Loving grandmother of Paul Penwarden (Sharon) of Calgary; Dylan Parry (Beth) of Toronto; Amy Crook of Courtney B.C; Erin Schaafsma (Bryan) of Stirling; Megan Sonneveld (Gary) of Napanee and John Sexsmith of Edmonton. Great-grandmother of Brandon; Lily; Ashley and Emily. Sister of the late Bruce; Nicholas; Ashell and Donald Beckwith.
