Lorne Berry of Newmarket, beloved husband of Marion (nee Gillard) and dear father of Wayne, Wendy and her husband Don Wouters, Stephen, and Roger and his wife Dorothy. He will be fondly remembered by grandchildren Robert and his wife Laura, Ryan and his friend Sarah, and Lindsay, great grandson Teigan, daughter-in-law Carol and faithful companion Buddy. Dear brother of Jim, Art, Lloyd, Jean and the late Wilfred. Friends may call at the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Funeral service on Wednesday at 2 p.m. followed by interment at Newmarket cemetery.

Loving grandfather of Thomas Andrew Elliott. Friends called at the MARSHALL FUNERAL HOME, 10366 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill (4th traffic light north of Major Mackenzie Drive) on Sunday. A service was held in the chapel on Monday. Cremation.

Rush, Ernest Harry
(A church choir singer since the age of 9 and a member of Christian Baptist Church Choir for over 45 years) - At Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Sunday, February 10, 2002 in his 95th year. Ernie Rush of Newmarket, dearly beloved husband of Margaret (nee McCord Simpson) and brother of Harold Rush of Marmora. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews and his friends at the cottage. Funeral services will be held at the Christian Baptist Church, 135 Main Street South, Newmarket, on Wednesday at 11 a.m. with visitation for 1 hour prior to the service. Memorial donations to the Christian Baptist Church Restoration Fund would be appreciated. Arrangements entrusted to the Roadhouse & Rose Funeral Home, 157 Main Street South, Newmarket.

Rae, Ivan - passed away at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket, on Thursday, May 30, 2002 in his 66th year. Loving son of the late Mabel and Warren Rae. Dear brother of Garnet (Dale), Jean Wideman (Glen), Harry (Janice), and the late Reta de Boer (Douwe). Ivan will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews. Pappas, Nicholas Gus (GM Employee, Retired) - Peacefully after a brief illness, at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday, May 31, 2002. Nick in his 62nd year. Beloved husband of 40 years to Patricia (Curtis), father of Irene Sheppard and Stacey and her husband Jim Allen all of Oshawa. Cherished Grumpy of Nicholas and Kate Rose Sheppard and Jimmy and Patrick Allen. Predeceased by his parents Gus and Clementine Pappas of Moncton, New Brunswick and brother Peter Pappas and sister-in-law Jackie Defalco Kelly. Nick will be sadly missed by sister Gloria (Allen) McGarrity, brothers George (Lois) Pappas, Deno (Cathy) Pappas, in-laws Jack and Irene Dickson, Francis Curtis, Leona Taylor, Maureen McCullock and his many nieces and nephews. Loving mother of William and his wife Keta, George and his wife Eleanor, Maureen and her husband Gary Green and the late Pearl. Loving grandmother to David, Michael, Jane, Jim, Michelle, Gillian, John, Bob, Bill and Christina. Great grandmother to 20 wee ones. Born in Northern Ireland to loving parents and the final member of a cherished family of ten. A private memorial service was held on Monday, June 3rd, 2002. Interment was held at York cemetery.
