HARROTT, Craig L.
Suddenly on Sunday, July 29, 2001, in Burlington, Ontario while awaiting a kidney transplant. Wonderful, loving father and friend to Chris and Scott, understanding soulmate husband of 26 years to Marguerite. Beloved brother of Donna Harrott (Surrey, B.C.), Ken and Denise Harrott and special uncle to Kristen Harrott. Loved son of Helen Harrott and the late Lloyd Harrott. Adored son-in-law to Kathleen and Murdo MacKenzie. Special son #3, brother and uncle to Bob and Shirley Cornelius, Brian, Bruce and Rena Cornelius, Deb and Al Mutch, Jessica, Katherine, James and Christina. Sadly missed by the many whose lives he touched, albeit briefly. Craig will always be with us, in our hearts and minds. A very special man in many ways, through his caring and compassion and integrity. Craig attended G.E. Perdue High School in Oakville. He apprenticed and became a mechanic, then shop foreman at Kerr Cadillac for over 29 conscientious years. A Service of Remembrance will be held at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stoplight north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632­3333) on Friday, August 3, 2001 at 1 p.m. The family sincerely thanks all his friends, the progressive care nurses at St. Joseph's in Hamilton, his customers of 29 years for their condolences and thoughts. Peacefully on Sunday, July 29, 2001 at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital in his 91st year. John, beloved husband of the late Anne. Loved father of Peter and his wife Jeannine and the late Shirley Lethby. Dear grandfather of Kim and the late Edward. Great grandfather of Chantal, Melanie and Heather. Funeral service was held at the Kopriva Taylor Community Funeral Home, 64 Lakeshore Road West, Oakville 11:30 a.m. Tuesday with visitation one hour prior to the service. Cremation. Those who wish, may make memorial contributions to the Canadian Cancer Society.

At St. Joseph's Hospital, Hamilton, Ontario on Sunday, July 29, 2001. Rachel Wakeham of Hamilton, age 25 years. Beloved daughter of Patricia Wakeham and Brad Holmes of Hamilton and Donald Wakeham and his wife Shelly of Calgary. Loving sister of Melissa Wakeham. Loved granddaughter of Grant and Hellen Taylor of Burlington and Don and Genevieve Wakeham. Dear niece of Scott Taylor of Burlington and Valerie Taylor of Ancaster. It is with sadness the family wish to announce the passing of Teresa, peacefully at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital, July 30, 2001, at the age of 38. Loving wife of Marc. Proud and devoted Mom to Tara and Daniel. Survived by her parents Herb and Marie Lewis of Niagara on the Lake. Dear daughter-in-law of Peter and Lidia Testani of Oakville. Dearest sister of Christine and her husband Terry Evans, Pauline and her husband David Stewart, Anne and her husband Stuart Alden. Sister-in-law of Dina and her husband Paul Blaney, Lisa and her husband Sirio Vacca. Fondly remembered by nieces and nephews Nadine, Bradley, Rachel, Kyle, Jacob and Arianna. Friends will be received at the Ward Funeal Home, 109 Reynolds Street, Oakville, Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass to be celebrated at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church, 181 Sewell Drive, at 10:00 a.m. Thursday. Entombment Glen Oaks Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Wellspring (Halton-Peel) or the Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.

CARD, Ralph Thomas
CARD, Ralph Thomas ­ in his 65th year, died peacefully at Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital on July 30, 2001. He was the beloved husband of Mary and father of Nigel (Sandy), Barbie (Darryl) and Dood (Cheryl). He also leaves behind his nine grandchildren, of whom he was so proud: Beth, Adam, Becky, Matthew, Ashley, Derek, Terry, Benji and Bailey. Ralph leaves a brother, Walter and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, Alice and Harry and brother, Sonny. Visitation will be at the Oakview Funeral Home, 56 Lakeshore Road W. (one block east of Kerr St.) Oakville, on Wednesday, August 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral will be held at St. Jude's Anglican Church, (160 William St.) on Thursday, August 2, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Choir Fund or Oakville-Trafalgar Memorial Hospital.

JONES, M. Lorraine (nee Hill) ­ It is with deep sadness that the family announces the passing of Lorraine on Tuesday, July 24, 2001. Wife of the late B. Peter Jones. Dear sister of Stafford and his wife Margaret Hill, and Bill Hill. Adoring aunt of Susan Halliday, Sharon Denley, Ron McFarland, Shelley McIntyre and Jeffrey Hill. Special "Gramma" of Sara and Matthew Denley. Very loving great and great-great auntie. Predeceased by her parents Laura and William Hill, and her beloved sister Barbara Mc Farland. Lorraine was a lifelong resident of Oakville, and loyal employee of Bell Canada, Tele-Direct. She will be fondly remembered by her many friends. To honour her wishes, this announcement is being placed following a service, held at the Ward Funeral Home "Oakville Chapel" on Friday, July 27, 2001. Peacefully at Allendale in Milton on Thursday, July 26th, 2001. Audrey Marie Robertson, beloved wife of the late William Russell (Russ) Robertson. Loving mother of Jacqueline and her husband Don Flack of Milton. Predeceased by sisters and a brother Eunice Toletzka, Muriel Coulson, Jean Cole and Orville Mitchell. Family and friends visited at the McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home 114 Main Street Milton 905-878-4452 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm on Sunday. The funeral service was held on Monday July 30th 2001 at 2:00 pm from the funeral home chapel. Interment followed at St. George's Anglican Church cemetery in Lowville. If desired, donations to the Milton District Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.

Unexpectedly, at the Joseph Brant Memorial Hospital, Burlington, Ontario, on Wednesday, November 7, 2001, Ed Segsworth of Burlington, age 63 years. Loving husband of Dianne (nee Henry) Segsworth. Devoted and loved father of Tara and Matthew and his wife Wendy, all of Burlington. Son of the late Ross and Jennie Segsworth and brother of the late Marjorie Hall. Dear son-in-law of Florence Henry of Milverton and nephew of Ruth Pauley of Guelph. Ed will also be missed by his sisters, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Ed was active in community organizations all of his life. He was past president of the Ontario and Halton Federations of Agriculture and past chair of the Halton Agricultural Advisory Committee. Former captain of the Kilbride volunteer firefighters, a member of the Halton Agricultural Society, the Halton Conservation Authority and a recipient of the Canada 125 Medal (1993).
