Est décédé à l'hôpital Montfort, entouré par sa famille, le samedi 18 août 2007 à l’âge de 82 ans. Originaire de Hawkesbury, il laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien-aimée Marcelle Charbonneau; ses enfants Christine Charbonneau (Mario Lajoie) et Marc (Joanne Gratton) ; ses petits-enfants Antoine Charbonneau, Marie Elizabeth Lajoie, Fabienne Lajoie et Esther Charbonneau. Lui survivent 2 frères et 3 sœurs ainsi que plusieurs beaux-frères, belles-sœurs, neveux, nièces et ami(e)s. La famille recevra parents et ami(e)s au salon funéraire Héritage situé au 2871 boul. Holmgren, Robert

Robert died peacefully at the Hospice at May Court, Ottawa, after a valiant 11 year battle with prostate cancer. He was lovingly surrounded by family as he began his new journey. Born in Stockholm, Sweden, he is pre-deceased by his mother Ingrid and his first wife Helen. Robert is survived by his loving wife Lucette Bertrand-Holmgren; his three children Tracey, Robin and Robert; father Marius; sister Susanne and brother Lennart. He was also a very proud Far-Far and Mor-Far to nine grandchildren who will miss him dearly. A sincere and heart- felt thank-you to Dr. Coulombe and the wonderful staff and volunteers at the Hospice at May Court. Your compassion and dedication allowed Robert to pass away with dignity, love and kindness. Peace, Dad we love you. Tragically, in the line of duty, in Hay River, NWT, on October 6, 2007 at the age of 30; dear husband and best friend of Jodie and loving father of his precious Alexis, beloved son of John and Mary Ann Worden and brother of Cathy, Michael and Peter. Son-in-law of John and Mary Lamers, godson of Wayne and Georgette Holmden, godfather of Mason Ashcroft, brother-in-law of Sandy (Brent), Carrie (Brian) and Deb (Curtis). He will be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and RCMP members. Helmer, her sisters Phyllis Wilson, Doris Seus and her brother Gordon Scott. Loved and cherished by her surviving siblings Robert Scott, Ruth Griffith and Iris Gleason. Loving mother of D’Arcy, Robin (Christine) and James (Rosella) Helmer. Cherished grandmother of Shawn, Kimberley and Jasmin. Peacefully, with grace and dignity at the Ottawa Civic Hospital, surrounded by her family. Barbara was born in Amherst, N.S., the daughter of the late Sarah Agnes (Hicks) and Warren Leon Hoeg. Dearly loved wife and best friend of Ron. Proud mother of three beautiful daughters Michelle Bettencourt of Maple Ridge, B.C.; Patty Parmiter (Ray) of Darmstadt, Germany; Cynthia (Steve Schramm) of Alexandria, Virginia. Also survived by sisters Emma Conrad of Truro, N.S. and Grace Lee of Amherst, N.S. as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by her sister Violet Wells; brothers Warren and Norman Hoeg and two brothers in infancy, William and John. After high school in Amherst, she moved to Truro, N.S. and worked for the T. Eaton Company before marrying Ron, continuing her life journey as an RCAF wife. She was a consummate military wife, serving at Ron’s side at many bases throughout Canada and the USA raising her three girls and always participating in the social and charitable activities of these communities. On retirement to Ottawa, after their final posting to the Canadian Embassy in Washington, D.C., Barb energetically pursued many interests: rug hooking, gardening, traveling, bowling to name a few. Barbara loved life and will be missed. The family will receive relatives and friends at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orléans, on Friday, November 30, 2007 from 10 a.m.–12 p.m. A ceremony in her memory will follow at 12 p.m. in the Heritage Chapel. Cherished mother of Ann (Bernd Berger), Leo (Mary Lou Quinn), Jean-Claude (Audrey O’Neil), and Rose (Gary Birarda). Proud grandmother of Jason (Kathleen O’Reilly), Tanya, Shanley, Sam, Breanna, Jennifer, James and Stephen. Survived by her dear sister Albertine (Roger Nepveu). Fondly remembered by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Thursday, November 22, 2007 at the age of 78 years. Beloved husband of 50 years of “his better half” as he would always say, Pauline (née Chabot). Loving father of 6 children, Gaétan (Francine Lavigne), Paul (Rachel Galipeau), François (Gisèle Beauchamp), Francine (Roxanne, Joëlle and Kathleen White), Michel (Ninon Joanisse) and Roger (Joanne Dubé) and dear grandfather of 9 grandchildren, Alexandre, Nicholas, Mélissa, Véronique, Mathieu, Jean-Benoît, Janelle, Maxime and Chloé. He will be sadly missed by his 2 sisters, Estèlle (Eugène Péladeau) and Cécile (René Côté), as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and numerous friends. Predeceased by his 3 brothers, Jean (Eva), Claude (Gertrude) and Laurent (Claire). We will miss him dearly, however, he has left us a loving legacy and many cherished memories. Sincere thanks to the medical staff of the Ottawa Civic Hospital Intensive Care Unit, in particular, Barb and Dr. Benoit, for their compassion and good care. It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beautiful nine month old son Nathaniel on Monday Nov. 19, after a courageous battle with cancer. Precious and much loved son of Andre Millen and Julie Chayer. Greatly cherished and missed by grandparents Mamma and Papa, Nanny and Grandpapa. Fondly missed by aunts and uncles Martin and Kathy, and Dwayne and Carolyn. Lovingly remembered by cousins Hayley and Kristine. A perfect son who gave so much to others and touched and inspired the lives of so many. You will be missed by all, our sweet angel. You were a joy to have and cuddle for the short time we had with you. You enriched our lives in ways one could not imagine. You are our pride and joy and we will love you forever. Grant, Stuart Raymond

Passed away on November 13, 2007 at the young age of 53 after a fighting battle with Leukemia. Lovingly missed by son Sean and daughter Krista. Best friend of Cheryl Stanley who shared his world adventures for 17 years. Dearest brother of John (Milan) and sister Shirley Hamre (Ross). Stu leaves many nieces and nephews. Pre-deceased by his parents Joe and Betty Grant. Stuart was a business entrepreneur and a refrigeration/air conditioner journeyman. He could fix anything. He was also an excellent boater and sailor. He could always weather a storm. Stuart developed long-term friendships with wonderful people in Florida, Australia and Louisiana; where he went to help after hurricane Katrina. Friends are welcome to attend a memorial service at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd in Orleans ON www.heritagefh.ca on Saturday Nov. 17 from 1 pm to 4 pm. Internment will be held on Tuesday Nov. 20 at 11 a.m. Capital Memorial Gardens, 3700 Prince of Wales Dr, Nepean ON.
