Plante, Fernand Alfred

Unexpectedly in Orléans, on Wednesday, November 12th 2008, at the age of 61. Son of the late Albert Plante and the late Irene Plante (née Perrier). Beloved husband to Nicole (née Benoit). Loving father of Alain (Krista Malott) and André (Gwynavier). Cherished grandfather of Albert, Sarah and Hayes. Raised on the former Plante Dairy in Ottawa, he returned to his native home after a distinguished career as a professional agronomist in Canada and the U.S. Dearly remembered by family and many friends as a gentleman of the highest caliber. A memorial mass will be held on Monday, November 17th 2008 at 11 a.m. in Église Sainte-Marie, 4831 Innes Rd., Orléans. The family will receive condolences at the church at 10:15 a.m. In memory of Fern, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated. Charlebois, Jeanne

Passed away on Monday, October 27th, 2008 at the age of 95 years. Daughter of the late Eugénie Groulx and the late Jean-Baptiste Lamarche. Beloved wife of the late Jean-Charles Charlebois. She is survived by her sisters : Georgette (Stanley Mulhall), Raymonde (Kenneth Alder) and Thérèse (Paul Laplante) ; her brother Hector (Claire Tassé), as well as many nephews and nieces. Predeceased by her sisters : Marie (Henri Dugal), Méa (Paul Paris), Anita (Carroll Deevey) and Irène (Gérald Séguin) and her brothers : Réal (Ada Stevenson), Roland (Jean Cox) and Jacques (Lucille Young). Jeanne was a member of the Daughters of Isabella, Ottawa. Funeral Service will be held at St. Sébastien Church, 1000 Frances St., Ottawa, on Saturday, November 1st, 2008 at 9:30 a.m. Family members will be present as of 9 a.m. to receive condolences. Following the interment at Notre-Dame Cemetery, Ottawa, a reception will be held at St. Sébastien Church. Passed away peacefully after a short illness on Tuesday, October 21st, 2008. Beloved wife of Denis Bourbonnais. Loving mother of Yves (Nathalie) and Patrick (Wendy). Cherished grandmother of Michelle, Vanessa, Chloé, Dominic, Zachary and Emanuel. Dear daughter of Lausiance St-Denis (the late Osias). She will be sadly missed by her siblings Yolande, Lise, Raymond, Rémi, Monique, Darquise, Suzelle, Liette, Réjean and Chantal, as well as by many siblings-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends. Marguerite peacefully passed away in Rockland on Monday, October 20th, 2008 at the age of 81 years. Daughter of the late Belmore Chartier and the late Florentine Mainville. Beloved wife of the late Paul Charron and in second marriage to the late Yvon Gauthier. Loving mother of Suzanne (Rhéal Dutrisac), Denise (Brian Lewicki) and Gérard “Curly” (Trudy). Cherished grandmother of Bernadette (Carl Nappert), Andréanne, Chris (Jennifer), Patrick and Mandy and caring great-grandmother of Théa and Ana. She will be sadly missed by her sisters Anita Plante and Annette Smith, as well as many close nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by her sister Laurette Drolet. Passed away on Friday, October 10th, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 72. Predeceased by her husband Réginald Désormeaux. Loving mother to her children, Nicole Gagnier, François Desormeaux (Suzanne) and Yvon Gagnier. Cherished grandmother of Maryse and Mylaine Gagnier and Véronique and Jean-Philippe Désormeaux. Passed away on October 8th, 2008, after a short but valiant battle with cancer, at the age of 56. Predeceased by his parents Gertrude Laporte and Réginald Morin. He leaves to mourn his loving wife Diane Louis-Seize Morin, his beloved daughters Brigitte (Patrick), Geneviève (Isabelle) and Annick. He leaves his two precious granddaughters; Catherine and Camille. He will be greatly missed by his sisters : Irène (Victor), Agnès (Jean-Pierre), Marie-Thé and Hélène (Marc) ; his brothers : Roger, Daniel (Louise) and Bernard ; his 2 sisters-in-law ; Madone and Carole (André) ; his nephews and nieces : Jean, Nathalie, Vinay, Denis, Josée, Eric, Julie, Sophie, Marc-André, Emmanuel, Adrienne and Jean-Simon ; as well as many aunts, cousins, friends and colleagues. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Ste. Marie Church, 4831 Innes Rd., Orléans on Thursday, October 16th, 2008 at 11 a.m. The family will be present as of 10:15 a.m. to receive condolences. Passed away on Sunday, September 6th, 2009 at the Ottawa General Hospital in his 64th year. Predeceased by his parents Marcel Beauregard and Jeannine Homier. Beloved husband of Lise Beauregard. Loving father of Marc (Céline) and Paul (Monique). Cherished grandfather of Vickie, Valérie and Natasha. He is survived by 8 brothers and three sisters as well by many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends. Bernard was very active, in the Orléans Softball League for many years. Ernie, of Alfred, Ontario, passed away on August 22nd, 2009 at the age of 86. He was the husband of the late Solange Lahaie and the late Jeannine Farley. He will be sadly missed by his daughter Rachel (Don Wallingford) his granddaughters Debbie (Jonathan Mitchell), Kim (Kurt Hillebrand) and 4 great-grandchildren; Emily, Erik, Isabelle and Harrison. He is survived by his sister Alice and his brothers; Hervé (Aline Pigeon), Simon (Yvette Pigeon), Léonard (Sheila Hunter) and Marcel. Many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces and friends, also survive him. The family wishes to express their appreciation to his support group; Nathalie Lalande, Claude Chénier, Gilles Brennan, André Boudreault and so many more. Thanks to you, he was able to be independent. Loving father of Michel (Nicole), Claude, Gilles (Sandy), Serge (Jayne), Daniel (Christine), and François (Janice); his 14 grandchildren : Jean-Paul, Carole, Guylaine, Robert, Mélanie, Philippe, Stéphanie, Anne-Marie, Kristy-Lynn, Jessica, Karine, Nicolas, Eric and Alexandre, his 8 great-grandchildren, as well as his sister-in-law Germaine Allard and his brothers-in-law : Jean Maurice Pouliotte and André Allard. He will be sadly missed by his three children: Robert (Lisette Taillefer), Jacques (Thérèse Marleau) and Joane (Michel Arsenault); and five grandchildren: André, Annie, Karine, Benoit and Alain. He will also be missed by his brothers and sisters: Rita (late Arthur Cholette), Dorilda, Fernande (late René Charlebois), Monique (Clarence Bouchard), Hélène (Gaëtan Brisbois), Éloi (Liliane Roy), Maurice (late Annette Latour) and Pierre (Monique de Haitre). He was predeceased by the late: Thérèse (Marcel Lafortune), Denis (late Claire Girouard), and Laurent (Jeanne Devilaire). Great-grandmother of Aidan Plant, Brix Velasco, Emma Eryou, Maya Plant and Nicholas Eryou. Predeceased by her sister Eduarda Mariano-Sudario. She will be sadly missed by all relatives and loved ones here in Canada, the United States and her native country the Philippines (emigrated to Canada in 1977). Loving father of Frédéric (Michèle Lupien), Sébastien (Karina Beaulne) and Olivier (Geneviève Ruest). Cherished “Grand-Papa Jacques” of Mélodie, Adrien, Océane, Maxime and Marine. He will be sadly missed by his mother Madeleine Arsenault Lorquet, his brothers Jean-Guy and Michel, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, as well as many relatives, friends and his dear friend Jacques Pelletier. Predeceased by his father Marc and his sister Nicole. Special salutations to his work colleagues in Québec and Ottawa of the Canadian Coast Guard and of Fisheries and Oceans Canada. Chère mère de Danielle Giroux (Donat Pageau), Alain Giroux (Claudette Savard), Michel Lanthier ((Céline Gareau) et Robert Lanthier (Julie-Lyne Monette). Grand-maman adoré de Pierre-Olivier Richer, Kim Giroux, Karel Giroux, Mélissa Lanthier, Sarah Lanthier et Jacques Olivier Lanthier. Lui survivent sa sœur Yolande Gagnon et ses frères Robert Gagnon et Pierre Gagnon. Prédécédée par sa sœur Lise Gagnon. Elle sera manquée par plusieurs beaux-frères, belle-sœurs, neveux, nièces, cousin, cousines et ami(e)s. Levac, Alfred

Alfred est décédé paisiblement aux soins intensifs de l’hôpital d’Ottawa (site Civic) le 14 juillet 2009 à l’âge de 83 ans. Il est né à Surgeon Falls, Ontario et est pré-décédé de son épouse, (Thérèse Levac-Branconnier), ses parents, George Levac et Rose McMurray ainsi que huit frères, Alpha, George, Albert, Paul, Aldège, Dollard, Joseph et Clément et cinq sœurs, Lorenza, Albanie, Thérèse, Léona et Juliette. Quatre enfants le survivent, soit Gaston, Jean, Jeanne (tous d’Ottawa) et George, Sturgeon Falls, deux frères, Conrad (Sudbury) et Arthur (Brantford) ainsi qu’une sœur, Annette (Ottawa). Un service commémoratif aura lieu pour Alfred et son épouse (décédée le 17 mai 2009) à la paroisse Sacré-Cœur de Sturgeon Falls le samedi, 12 septembre. La famille remercie tout le personnel de Centre d’Accueil Champlain (Vannier) (mention spéciale à Liette et Denis) pour les excellents soins prodigués au cours de son séjour de deux ans. La famille est aussi très reconnaissante pour les excellents soins donnés à notre père dans l’unité des soins intensifs du site Civic de l’hôpital d’Ottawa.
