Jodoin, Thérèse
(née Maheu)

Passed away peacefully, on Monday, February 22nd, 2010 at the age of 68 years. Loving mother of Deborah-Ann Jewett (William), Susan Graham (Brian), Christine Jodoin (Stéphane) and Laurie Aspeck (Steven). Cherished grandmother of Sherene, Kyla, Kevin, Patrick, Rebecca, Stephanie, Brandon, Jennifer and Matthew and great-grandmother of Madeleine. She will be sadly missed by her sister Claire Lavoie, her best friend Peanut and lifelong friend Lorraine Kelly, as well as nephews, nieces and friends. Predeceased by her mother Rita Maheux. Funeral Mass in celebration of her life will be held at Divine Infant Church, 6658 Bilberry Dr., Orléans, on Saturday, February 27th, at 11 a.m. Following the ceremony, family members will receive condolences during the reception. Lalonde, Michel Paul

Surrounded by his family, Michel passed away peacefully on February 19th, 2010 at Élizabeth Bruyère palliative care unit after a heroic battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his father Joseph A. and his mother Henriette Pinard. He was the loving husband and best friend of Denise (Raymond), dear father to Paul (Catherine McGlashan) and Natalie (Maurice Charlebois) and proud grandpapa to William and Charlotte Lalonde and Simon, Samuel and Émilie Rose Charlebois. He will be missed by his sisters Lucette (Gérard Lapierre) and Élizabeth (Alexander McCleod) and brothers Claude and Jacques (Maryse Brunet), his brothers-in law, Pierre, Paul Raymond (Hélène Lehoux) and John Clay (the late Marie Raymond) and several nephews and nieces. Michel was an authentic leader who has coached and inspired many other leaders. He taught by example and has led the way in developing new levels of cooperation and collaboration in health care throughout the region. During his career in health care administration, he served as CEO at Hawkesbury and Winchester hospitals. He also had leadership roles in the Ottawa General Hospital and Montfort Hospital. He was the first Chair and president of Champlain Local Health Integration Network, a position he held until 2006, and has served as executive-in-residence for the MHA program at the Telfer School of Management since 2000. The family would like to thank the wonderful and dedicated staff at the Ottawa General Hospital and at Élisabeth Bruyère palliative care unit who accompanied Michel in his journey. If desired, a donation in memory of Michel may be made to the Michel Lalonde MHA Scholarship at the University of Ottawa, 190 Laurier Ave. E., Ottawa, ON, K1N 6N5. Passed away peacefully on Friday, February 19, 2010 at the age of 91 years. Beloved wife of the late John Phillips. Loving mother of Anita Dupuis (Jean-Paul), Rita Percy (Lloyd) and Paul (Ghislaine). She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren : Richard, Kevin, Marc and Cathy ; her 10 great-grandchildren as well as many nephews, nieces and friends. Lucille was a founding member of the Centre Pauline-Charron (formerly Club 60 de Vanier). Sincere thanks to the staff of the Champlain Nursing Home for their great care and compassion. It is with great regret that we wish to inform you of the death of M. Andre Cyr on July 17th, 2011, following a courageous battle against cancer at the age of 65 years. André was employed for 32 years with the House of Commons. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved wife Nicole (née Simard). He will be sadly missed by his children : Stéphane (Milaine Cloutier) and Isabelle ; his spouse’s children : Daniel Lefebvre (Maria), Josée (Yves Rivard) and Alain Lefebvre (Lisa). He was predeceased by his father Jules Cyr and his mother Aline Robertson. He leaves as well his mother-in-law Beatrice Simard, his sister Louise Leblanc, a nephew Marc, many sister-in laws and brother- in- laws and 10 grandkids. You will remain with us for a long time, deeply rooted in our hearts and memories. Predeceased by his son Pierre (Claire), his brothers : Yvon and Lucien, his sisters: Fernande and Gaëtane. He will be sadly missed by his brothers: Simon (Irène), Léo (Roberta), Mario (Claudette) and Léonard (Lucille), his sisters: Rita (the late Xavier), Marie Paul (Gerry), Cécile (the late Victor) and Jeanine (Jean Yves), as well as many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and friends. We thank all those who helped create the patchwork quilt of love, caring and support which warmed and comforted us. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on Sunday, May 15, 2011 in his 60th year. Predeceased by his mother Doris (Haspeck), his father William Myers and step-dad Stillman McQuade. Beloved husband and best friend for 36 years of Gloria (Graham). Loving father of David and Samantha. Chris will be deeply missed by his seven sisters and his brother, as well by many nieces, nephews, neighbours, colleagues and friends. The family would like to thank the staff on the 6 th floor of the Ottawa General Hospital and the nursing staff at the Elizabeth Bruyère Palliative Care for the great care given to Chris.
