Obituary ZEITZEW, Isadore. Suddenly, at home on Wednesday, September 3, 2008. Beloved husband of Rachel Gergye. Son of the late Charles and the late Betty Zeitzew. Dear brother of the late Sam. Brother-in-law of Aaron and Andrea Gergye. He will be sadly missed by his family and all who knew him. Graveside service on Sunday, September 7, at 1:00 p.m., at the Shaar Shalom Congregation Section, Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Duvernay. Shiva private. Manuel Phillip Langleben

Langleben, M Phillip, FRSC. Professor Emeritus of Physics, McGill University and Fellow, Royal Society of Canada. Former Director, McGill Center for Northern Studies and Research. B’seivah tovah. He leaves to grieve his beloved wife Rose, dearest children Adrian, David, Louise and daughters-in-law Ruth and Vicky, and his adored and adoring grandchildren Isaac, Samuel, Debra, Ian, Julia, and Hayley. Son of the late David and Molly. Devoted brother of the late Sarah, Moe, Gertrude, Rose, Anne and Carl. Professor Langleben was globally recognized in his field. He was called upon to serve in numerous advisory and formative roles at the University and with multiple international institutions, societies and governments. The family is most grateful to the doctors, nurses and staff of 5 Main and the Oncology Clinic, St Mary's Hospital, and the doctors, nurses and staff of CCU/2Cardiac, 3 West and the Cardiology Department of the Jewish General Hospital for their devoted and tender care. Funeral service from Paperman and Sons, 3888 Jean Talon St W., on Tuesday, March 20 at 1:00 pm. Burial at Congregation Shaar Hashomayim Cemetery, 1250 Chemin de la Forêt. Shiva private. PRONMAN, Celia (nee Heitner). Peacefully and with great dignity, on Monday, March 19, 2012, in Toronto. Beloved wife of the late Max Pronman and the late Sam Kravitz. Loving and devoted mother and mother-in-law of Sheldon and Lynne, Andrea and Alan Gontovnick of Toronto. Adored grandmother of Melissa and J.P. Dehaes, Evan, and Alexa Pronman; Matthew, Brandon, and Marnie Gontovnick. Cherished great-bubby of Noah and Jayden. Predeceased by her siblings and their spouses, Harry and Rose, Mike and Jeannine, Pearl and Jack Hart. She will be sadly missed by her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Celia was a warm and wonderful person and will be missed by all who knew her. Cherished father and father-in-law of Stanley and Sharon, Karen and Raffi. Proud Zaidie of Jeremy, Jonathan and Juliana, and James. Devoted and cherished brother and brother-in-law of Dora and the late Nat Kaufman, Helen and the late Hyman Ruckenstein, the late Harry and the late Freda Ruckenstein. Dearly loved and loving uncle of Rosemary and Steve Caplan, Maureen and Joel Richler, Marsha and Seymour Ross, Diane Ruckenstein, Sheryl and Elliott Shuchat, Marilyn and Bernie Segal, Claudia and the late Hy Becker, Alan and Esther Williams, and their families.
