Loving father and father-in-law of Helaine and Philip Cohen and Marvin Hersh. Devoted grandfather of Sharon and Marty Kestenberg, Shelley Cohen and Brian Keith and Sheryl and Mark Nightingale. Loving great-grandfather of Ryan and Cory Kestenberg, Shane and Jesse Nightingale and Dylan Keith. Dear brother of Doe Hersh, the late Harry Hersh and the late Ray Miller, all of Montreal. At Benjamin's Park Memorial Chapel, 2401 Steeles Avenue West on Monday, February 28, 2000 at 10 a.m. Interment Farband Section of Pardes Shalom Cemetery. HORNYAK, Helen (nee Zsula). Passed away peacefully on February 28, 2000 in her ninety-fourth year. Beloved wife of the late Sandor Hornyak. Dear mother of the late Nicholas and mother-in-law of Jennifer. Granny was cherished by Alexandra (Robert Choquette), Caroline (James Aitken) and Timothy. She will hold a special place in the hearts of her great-grandchildren Olivia and Nicholas. Service will be held in Our Lady of Hungary Church, 90 Guizot Street West, Montreal on Thursday, March 2 at 2 p.m. The family will receive condolences one hour prior to the service in the church. Interment at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Fondation Institut Universitaire Geriatrique de Montreal, 4565 Queen Mary Road, Montreal, Quebec H3W 1W5.

He is survived by his wife of fifty-four years Patricia Cunningham, two daughters Cheryl Long (Richard), Deborah Ramirez, and son Regan Earl Kelly (Carol), nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Service to be held at the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, LaQuinta, California, March 3 at 1 p.m. Donations in his memory to the Eizenhower Memorial Hospital Cancer Research Foundation, 39000 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage, California, 92270.

LOWE, Titus M. "Ty". Passed away peacefully in North Vancouver February 25, 2000 in his seventy-eighth year. Born in Montreal, he worked for American Can Co. in Montreal, prior to being transferred to Hamilton, then Brampton, ending his working career in Vancouver. Ty served with the R.C.A.F. in both the European and Asian theaters during the Second World War. He will be sadly missed by Agnes, his cherished wife of fifty-two years, and by his loving daughters Darlene and her husband Bill Fitzsimons and Debby and her husband Jock Wood. He was a beloved Grandpa to Sharon, David, Erin and Michael Fitzsimons and to Meghan and Kevin Wood. Ty leaves two sisters Anna and Eleanor, both residing in Ottawa, and a brother Albert, residing in Mississauga. A memorial service is to be held on Wednesday March 1, 2000 at Highlands United Church in North Vancouver. Memorial donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or Canadian Cancer Society.

Also survived by two grandchildren Kawennenha:wi and Kahneki:io, his great-grandson Thakwirare, his sister Winona and many sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Resting at The Legion Hall, Branch 219, Kahnawake. Funeral will be held on Thursday, March 2 at 2 p.m. at the St-Francis Xavier Mission. Interment at Kateri Cemetery. Beloved wife of the late Robert Michaliszyn. Loving mother to Linda (Massimo Brunetti) and Colleen (Leonard Waring). Adored grandmother of Cristoforo (Sarah), Roberto and Domenico Brunetti, Marcia McIntyre, Kenneth and Jason Waring. Sister to Monica (Kenneth) and Theresa, the late Joseph and Justin. Sister-in-law to Rose. She also leaves to mourn her nieces and nephews. All who knew her were touched by her strength, wisdom, courage and her zest for life. The family will receive relatives and friends at Urgel Bourgie Funeral Complex, 1750 Notre Dame, Lachine on Tuesday from 7 to 10 p.m., Wednesday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10 p.m. and on Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. The funeral ceremony will be held Thursday, March 2, 2000 at 11 a.m. at St. John Fisher Church, 120 Summerhill, Pointe Claire, thence to the Field of Honour. She will be sadly missed by all her friends, especially those at the Edwin Crawford Residence.

Survived by sister, Dolce Baird of Montreal. Will be missed by three grandsons, one granddaughter and two great-grandchildren. He was retired from Dominion Textile, Loyal Member of Masonic Order, Fellowship Lodge 118, St. Lambert, Quebec and a Veteran of W.W.II. A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of the Comstock Funeral Home, 356 Rubidge Street, Peterborough, on Saturday, March 4, 2000 at 11 a.m., with the Reverend Gai Burns officiating.
