MONTGOMERY, Andrew Kerr. Tragically in New York City, Andrew Kerr Montgomery, the true love and soulmate of Cheryl Montgomery and loving and proud father of Lauren and Madison passed away on Tuesday, May 11, 2004. Andrew was the beloved son of Donald and Molly Montgomery of Toronto and a dear brother of Kathryn (Tom) and Heather (Mark). He was the beloved son-in-law of Bob and Joyce Cornforth of Montreal and dear brother-in-law to Jay (Jennifer), Mark (Stacey) and Darren (Ching) and the playful uncle of eight nieces and nephews. His family and many friends will miss Andrew's enthusiasm, sense of humour and vibrant energy. Andrew will live in our hearts always. Funeral Mass will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 18, which would have been Andrew's thirty-sixth birthday. The Funeral will be held at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 24 Cheritan Avenue, Toronto, located on Yonge Street just south of Lawrence Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations to a trust fund for the education of his daughters would be much appreciated by Andrew and his family. Please make any donations payable to "Lauren Montgomery Education Fund" or "Madison Montgomery Education Fund" care of Mr. Tom Cronin, CA, 47 Oriole Gardens, Toronto, Canada M4V 1V9.

ATTRIDGE, Walter G. 1911-2004. Peacefully passed away at the Queensway Carleton Hospital, Ottawa on Saturday evening, June 12, 2004 at the age of ninety-three. Beloved husband of Isabel Graham Ewing. Beloved father of Heather (Adrian) and the late Ewing (Maureen). Beloved Gampy of Wendy (Paul), Heidi (Pierre), Peter (Cristina), the late Eric, Robin, Jennifer, Andrew (Jenn) and Kimberley; and Great-Gampy of Penny, Liam, Eric, Chloe, Max, Ethan and Connor. He is predeceased by his brothers Gordon and Charlie, and sisters Irene and Norma. He will be missed by brother Wallace and sisters Margaret and Marie. Fond grandmother of Kenneth (Karen) of Legal, Alberta, Greg (Judith), Garth, Rodney (Karen), Nancy (Kenny), Robert, Norman (Sherri), Julie (Patrick) and great-grandmother of Megan, Melanie, Elizabeth, Scott, Jessica and Virginia. Dear sister of Margaret McLean of Orangeville. Predeceased by her brother Eugene. Passed away peacefully on June 12, 2004 and June 13, 2004 in the Montreal General Hospital, at the ages of eighty seven years and eighty three years respectfully. Beloved husband and wife for fifty-seven years, and dear father and mother of Brian, David and Keith (Lise Tessier). Their grandchildren, Jeffrey and Robin, will always remember their "Grandpa and Grandma" for the special times that they spent with them. Visitation at Collins, Clarke, MacGillivray, White, 307 Riverside Drive, St-Lambert on Thursday June 17 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. A celebration of their lives will take place on Friday, June 18 at 11 a.m. at St. Barnabas Church, 95 Lorne Avenue, St-Lambert, Qc. BRONISLAW, Tadeusz Szpakowski. Passed away peacefully at the Queensway-Carleton Hospital at 9:20 a.m. on June 13, 2004 just short of his eighty-ninth year, after having been given tender loving care at home for almost four years by his courageous wife of fifty-eight years Janina, nee Jarzecka, originally from Baczkow, Poland. Born in 1915 in Poland, Bronek bravely endured the harsh conditions of life in concentration camps and two death marches in World War II. Resident of Kanata for the past 33 years he was a five-time president of the Association of Polish Engineers in Canada. Bronek was a loving husband and proud father, and will be sadly missed by his wife Janka, his children: Mark (Susan) of Halifax, Jean-Luc (Gloria Polanski) of Berkeley, Ania of New York, Sophie Sekelyk of Toronto, and Kasia (Malcolm Jarrett) of Wales: along with his grandchildren Patsy, Mirek, Olivier, Monica, Christian, Maggie, Ivan, Alexander, and Tess-Ania; his great-grandchildren Kaya and Brel; his cousin Wojtek (Ewa) Kujawski of Kanata; as well as his extended family in Poland and elsewhere. During his lingering illness and long term care, Bronek and Janka's geographically dispersed family united to strengthen and support them. He was predeceased by his parents, brother (Andrzej of Pszczyna of Poland), sister (Aldona of Warsaw), and his eldest son Chris (Terry) of Ottawa. Friends are invited to pay their respects at the closed casket viewing at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home on 235 Kent Street on Wednesday, June 16 from 7 to 9 p.m. (Rosary at 8 p.m.). Funeral services will be held at the Saint-Hyacinth Church in Ottawa, Thursday, June 17 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, Bronek requested that donations be made to the St. Hyacinth Church Mission Fund.
