OBITUARY JIM ADAMS 1940 - 2006 It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden and untimely passing of Jim Adams on July 10, 2006, at the age of sixty-six. Jim will be greatly missed by his wife of forty-four years, Elizabeth (McIntyre), his three children Kim (Richard), Tracy (Stephen) and Kevin, as well as by Granddad's angels Adam, Brianne and Timothy. Jim was the son of the late Jim and Jessie Adams and was brother to Andrew (Joan). Jim was immensely proud of having retired as the last Westmount Fire Chief and Director of Public Security. Jim will no doubt be remembered for his years of tireless work volunteering as both President of LaSalle Minor Hockey Association and Riverside Park Pool. Jim was a devoted family man with a great love of life. We love you and will carry you with us always. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening July 12 from 7 to 9 p.m., Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 5644 Bannantyne Ave., Verdun (at Beatty). Funeral service in St. Johns Presbyterian Church, 28 Second St. East, Cornwall, Ontario, on Friday, July 14, 2006 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to service in church.

ANTLE, Georgette. Aged eighty-two years, of Whitemouth, formerly of Greenfield Park, Quebec, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2006 at East Gate Lodge Personal Care Home. She is survived by her step-children: Keith (Corene), Lorne (Lynn), Wayne (Madeline) and Ronald Raffan and their families, her nephew Roger (Anna Marie) Delage and his family. She was predeceased by her stepdaughter Gail Raffan, sister Marie Rose, as well as her parents. Funeral service will be held on Friday, July 14 at 2 p.m. at the Sobering Funeral Chapel, Park Avenue E., Beausejour, MB with Minister Franklin Penner presiding. Interment will take place in Laurentide Memorial Gardens in Quebec. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 9Z9. ARCHER, George H. Suddenly, at age seventy-eight, on Monday, June 26 at the Royal Victoria Hospital following a courageous and valiant journey for a new kidney. Pre-deceased by his son Adam. Loving uncle of May (Stephen), Tamer (Gaelle) Rami (Leslie) Sherif of Ireland and Hanan and Dalia of Egypt. Great uncle of George, Alexander, Christopher, Annie, Bradley, Amy, Kyle, Mina, Mark, Michael, Mariam and Mirna. He will be fondly remembered by all his family and friends. MOFFA, Emidio 1923-2006. Was peacefully led by our Lord to his resting place in heaven. After a lengthy battle with lung disease, he succumbed to his illness at the Jewish General Hospital on Tuesday, July 11, 2006, at 2:15 a.m. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Adele (nee Delzingaro), his children Maria (Joseph), Assunta (Udo), Angelina (Marco) and Antonietta (David). He was a devoted grandfather to Christina (Mario), James (Tania), Christopher, Jamie, Daniel and Rachel and a caring great-grandfather to Rylan, Victoria and Thomas. He is survived by his sister, Stella Moffa. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of one's choice in his honor. Condolences can be given to the family and friends at Wednesday from 7 to 10 p.m. and Thursday from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 10 p.m. A Mass will be held on Friday, July 14 at 11 a.m. at Madre Dei Cristiani Church. He will be laid to rest at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery.
