RUNOLFSON - On December2, 2004 Mabel Catherine Runolfson (nee Goodin) of Regina, Sk. passed away after a lengthy illness, at the age of 73 years. Predeceased by her dear husband Harold (of Semans, Sk.) on November 26, 1986. Mabel will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Linda Jerricke and grandson Donal, her brother Ed (Marg), and sisters Rita, Hilda, Bonnie (Walter), and Marlene (Roy). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews on both sides of her and Harold's family, whom she thought of often. Mabel was cremated and at her request there will be no services held, she simply hopes that her family and friends will fondly remember the many good times they shared. Very special thanks go to her doctors and the compassionate staff at the Palliative Care Unit of the Pasqua Hospital who made Mabel's last days as easy as they could be. She lived with grace and passed with dignity. Arrangements in care of Speers Funeral Chapel and Crematorium Services.

SCHNEIDER - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mom and grandma, Elsie Schneider, nee Triffo of Regina on December 1, 2004. Elsie was predeceased by her parents John and Magdalena Triffo, by her first husband Jack Butz and second husband Ken Schneider, stepson Kelly, sisters, Caroline, Erna, Kay, Hilda, Mary, brothers, Rudy and Henry. Elsie is survived by her son, Glenn (Brenda), stepson Louis (Brenda), her son Robert (Mae), daughter Brenda (Barry), stepdaughter Kandas and grandchildren, Tricia (Sheldon), Christopher, Amanda, Dustin, Rick, Kelly, Devon and Tanya, great-grandchildren, Brooklyn and Noah, sisters Frieda and Phyllis and brother Richard. Elsie was born May 6, 1921 in Southey and raised in Edenwold. She made many friends across the province. Elsie's life was a gift to her family and friends. We will never see a more devoted wife or mother. We will remember her and miss her always. Special thanks to the staff at Pioneer Village for all the special care and compassion. The Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 6, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Lee Funeral Home, 3101 Dewdney Avenue Regina, Sask., with Pastor Bob Leeson, officiating. The Interment will follow in the Ernfold Cemetery, Ernfold, Saskatchewan. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society 301 2550 12th Avenue Regina, Sask., S4P 3X1. PASQUA - September 2, 1968 March 2, 2005. Eldon Boyd Pasqua, late of Regina, Sask. passed away at the age of 36 years. He was predeceased by his grandmother Blanche Gladys Pasqua and grandfather Benjamin Archie Pasqua, his sister Holly Lynn Pasqua and niece Raven Dawn Cheyenne McDonald. He is survived by his beloved mother Gloria Jean Pasqua and father Roy David Alexson; sisters Marilyn (Bruce) Hamelin and Amanda Pasqua; brothers David Pasqua and Eric (Bonnie) Pasqua and his son Bradford as well as numerous nieces, nephews and grandchildren. The Wake will be held at the mother's home on Sunday, March 6, 2005 at 2:00 P.M., 1410 Robinson St., Regina, SK. The Funeral Service will be held on Monday, March 7, 2005 at 2:00 P.M. in the Benjamin Pasqua Hall, Pasqua First Nation, SK with burial to follow at the Pasqua Cemetery. PEET - Eleanor Elisabeth (Evans), RN at the Yorkton Regional Health Centre on Monday, February 28, 2005 in her 83rd year. Predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Cecil Peet (2002). Eleanor is survived by her three children, Barbara (John) Rowe of Ancaster, Ontario, Diane (Wayne) Rusnak of Yorkton and Russell (Vicki) Peet of Preeceville; 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Special thanks to the staff at 1st west, Yorkton Regional Health Centre for their gentle and caring manner and to the kind and compassionate staff at Aspen Bluffs Villa for their long-term care. Kay leaves to cherish her memory her loving family son, Ron (Deanna) Hoffman and their family, Michelle (Dave) Laing, Matthew, Chelsea and Sean; Ronalda (Ray) Leibel, Amanda and Karl; Wade (Lynn) Hoffman, Blake and Jillian; daughter, Judy Zimbaluk and her family, Brad and his son, Josh; Brent and his son, Nathan; Nikki (Jason) Kachmarski, Kaeleigh; sisters and brothers, Eva, Emily, Eula, Elsie (Gordon) Jewell, Dorothy (Russ) Kelly, Matt (Elsie) Petrowicz, Karl (Matilda) Petrowicz; sisters in law, Jeanne Hoffman, Alma (Alex) Chernishenko, Eva Hoffman all of Regina; Eleanor Bruce of B.C.; Irma Cox of California and numerous nieces and nephews. Kay was predeceased by her parents, Anton and Elizabeth (nee Orb) Petrovitch; first husband, Ernest E. Hoffman on February 5, 1962; second husband, Philip Ring on July 3, 1979; son in law, Jim Zimbaluk on January 8, 2005; sister, Martha Morris on January 31, 1976; brothers in law, Robert Wagner, Bill Seib, Jake Weisbrot, Ed Ulrich, William Hoffman, Norman Hoffman; sisters in law, Beth Leibel, Lillian Eberts. Kay's family would like to thank the staff of the Regina Lutheran Home for their wonderful care of our mother who has resided there since August 12, 1998 and also to Pastor Fingas for his compassion and words for mom. He is survived by his father Jerome Littletent and stepmother Ella; children Ryan Ross, Summerdawn, Barry, Morning Starr Strongarm, Requel, Barry, McKenzie Rope; brothers and sisters Gerald, James, Sanford (Lynda), Lorna, Randy, Janice, Chantel (Virgil) Strongarm, Harold (Deana), Barbra (Adrien), Mark (Barbra) Littletent, Rick Favel (Tina), Doris Favel, Rema (Dennis) Kay; adopted father Mike Pinay; kokum Myrtle Moneybird as well as many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews and nieces. WHITMORE, MARGARET LORRAINE - A grand lady respected for her intellect, love of family and sense of style, Margaret Whitmore passed away March 1, 2005 in a gracious manner to join the "love of her life ", Wally Whitmore. She will be missed by her children, Barry Whitmore of Regina, daughter Leanne Pederson of Calgary; and son-in-law Harvey, extended family and dog Brady. Nana was so proud of her musical grandsons, David, Brad, Dan and Wade. She loved the dinners with her extended family Ted and Kathy Gilson and Eric and Susan Dugas. "Nana's " pride and joy were her three little great-granddaughters, Octovia, Sophie and Elena. Growing up in Melville, SK, Marg worked in a variety of professional offices until she was selected by a special Order in Council to serve as private secretary to the Premier of Saskatchewan. She served in this prestigious position until her marriage to Wally in 1940. She later became secretary to the Head of School Libraries where she indulged in her love of reading. Upon retirement, Wally and Marg spent summers golfing at their cottage at Katepwa Beach, SK. and winters in New Mexico. In 1996, she moved to Calgary where she resided at Canyon Meadows Retirement and Lake Bonavista Village. Marg enjoyed an incredibly long life filled with wit, humour and family. Special thanks to her sister-in-law Doris Whitmore for those daily chats, to Sally Pederson for her kind attention and to Cathy O'Connor for her support. A celebration of Marg's life will be held at Deer Park United Church (77 Deer Point Road S.E., Calgary, AB) today, March 5, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Jennifer Ferguson officiating. MCNEILL - It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Irene McNeill on April 1, 2005. She was born July 21, 1930 in Regina to Ellen and Lorne McNeill. Irene was predeceased by he parents, her brother Bob, and her sister Pearl. Left to cherish her memory is her sister-in-law Stella McNeill, brother Clifford and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews and close friends. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday April 6, 2005 at 11:00 am in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Ave Regina with Rev. Ronald Sutton officiating. REID - Dorothy Mae (Sewell) was born July 25, 1921 in Vancouver, BC and died April 2, 2005 in Regina after a brief illness. Dorothy was married in Regina, April 24, 1948 and resided here for the remainder of her life. She was predeceased by her husband Hector Eugene Reid (May 16, 1923 to July 8, 1994), her father Walter Sewell in 1953 and her mother Mabel Sewell in 1951. Dorothy is survived by her son Robert (Bob) Reid of Regina, daughter Kathleen ReidFarrell and husband RJ (Jim) Farrell of Winnipeg and two grandchildren: Ian Farrell of Cold Lake, AB and Allan Farrell of Edmonton, AB. Special thanks to the staff of Grace Hospice at William Booth Special Care Home for their exceptional care and to her many friends who added colour and great memories to an exceptional life. Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, April 5, 2005 at 3:30 p.m. in Speers Funeral Chapel, 2136 College Ave, Regina with Capt. Barbara Brown officiating. Interment in Riverside Memorial Park. WILHELMS - Shirley Margaret (Tucker) was born in Esterhazy, SK, on July 19, 1948 and passed away in Regina, SK on Sunday, April 3, 2005. Shirley is survived by her husband Walter; sons, David (Nadine) and grandchildren Janine and Lora; Bob (Jamie) and grandchildren Erica, Thomas and Andrew; sister, Louise Lamberton (Mansell Patterson); and niece, Shannon (Dom) Tailleur and their children Chantal, Amber, Jacob and Josee. Shirley is also survived by her father Edward Tucker and mother-in-law Dorothy Wilhelms; Walter's siblings: Lorraine (Clarry) Cameron and family; Allan (Anne) and family; Milt (Sharon) and family; and Lloyd (Monique) and family; and special friends, Gayle (Andy) MacKay, Marjorie (Don) Bater and the Grosse families. Shirley was predeceased by her mother Hazel in 1980 and father-in law, John in 1997 and Marion Grosse in 1999. Shirley was educated in Regina and commenced her career with the Co-operators in 1966 and retired in 2004. Shirley will be sorely missed by all her family, friends, colleagues and special feline friend REBA. The family wishes to express a special thanks to Dr. I.R. Hill and Dr. L. Clein; the Palliative Home Care staff; the nurses on 3A Pasqua Hospital; and the staff at Wascana Grace Hospice, for the compassionate care provided.
