Dennis David Moe
(July 18, 1944 - January 5, 2009)

MOE – Dennis David (1944 – 2009). Dennis passed away in Estevan, SK on Monday, January 5, 2009 at the age of 64 years. Dennis was born at Weyburn, SK on July 18, 1944. He was predeceased by his parents, Norman and Olga Moe and father-in-law Arthur Evenson. He is survived by his loving family: wife of 32 years, Linda Moe of Estevan; son Jordan Moe of Estevan; daughter Jina Abells Morissette (Paul) and their son Hudson of Calgary, AB; brothers, Willis (Arlaine) Moe of Saskatoon, SK and their children David (children Jessica, Samantha and Mikayla) and Tanya (Darren); Russell (Donna) Moe of Weyburn, SK and their children Garrett (Danielle) and Brandon; mother-in-law Violet Evenson of Estevan. VISITATION will be held on Thursday, January 8, 2009 from 7 – 9 p.m. and on Friday, January 9, 2009 from 9 – 11 a.m. in the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 2:30 p.m. from St. Paul’s United Church, Estevan, with Rev. Pat Wotton officiating. Cremation will follow and a private family interment will take place at a later date. Pallbearers are Bill Hahn, Aaron Turnbull, Brandon Moe, Garrett Moe, Kelly Steinke, Scott Benning and Grant Benning. All in attendance are considered Honorary Pallbearers. Those so wishing may make donations to the Allan Blair Cancer Centre, Regina, or the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation, Estevan, in Dennis’ memory. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Dustin Hall of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan (634-8233).

Lawrence Pachiorka
(Apr. 17, 1932 - January 8, 2009)

PACHIORKA – Lawrence (1932 – 2009). Lawrence was born on April 17, 1932 at Benson, SK and passed away in Estevan, SK on Thursday, January 8, 2009 at the age of 76 years. Lawrence was predeceased by his son Darrel Pachiorka in 1993; parents, Annie and Alex Pachiorka and brother-in-law Emil Miller. He is survived by his loving family: wife of 51 years, Joyce Pachiorka of Benson; daughter Diane Pachiorka of Whitehorse, Yukon, son Laurel (Rosanne) Pachiorka of Estevan; daughter-in-law Cheryl (Lance) Pearson of New Zealand; grandchildren: Darrel’s children, Jennifer, Derek and Brittany Pachiorka; Diane’s son Casey Barnhart and Laurel’s children, Harley, Marshall, Carolyn and Ryder Pachiorka; brother Edward (Darlene) Pachiorka of Stoughton; twin sisters, Mary (Tony) Nemec of Vancouver, B.C. and Elsie Miller of Weyburn, as well as nieces, nephews and many friends.

VISITATION will be held on Monday, January 12, 2009 from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. from the chapel of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan. FUNERAL SERVICE will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. from the Church of God, Estevan, SK with Pastor Walter Engel officiating. Following a luncheon, interment will take place in the Benson Cemetery (west of Benson). Procession will leave the church at approximately 2:30 p.m. Those so wishing may make donations to the Stoughton Apostolic Church Building Fund, Stoughton, SK or the Canadian Diabetes Association in Lawrence’s memory. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Dustin Hall of Hall Funeral Services, Estevan (634-8233).

Dennis George
(December 27, 1946 - Apr. 11, 2008)

GEORGE – On Friday, April 11, 2008, Dennis George, late of Estevan, passed away in Regina at the age of 61 years. Dennis was predeceased by his father Gerard and one brother Ivan. He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Cecile of Estevan, SK; mother Clotilde of Redvers, SK; son Brian (Sheryl) and grandsons, Carter, Kellan, Cole, Kalen and Mason, son Jamie (Danette) and granddaughters, Jenna and Jade, daughter Jodie (Kevin) Kowalchuk and granddaughters Kailey and Kelsey, all of Estevan; brothers, Yvon (Leona) George of Saskatoon, SK and Michael (Sandra) Chicoine of Grenfell, SK and sister Jackie (Lawrence) Delvenne of Saskatoon. Dennis also leaves behind numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and many great friends.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 17, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Estevan, by Rev. Peter Nijssen. Those so wishing may make donations to unit 3B of the Pasqua Hospital, Regina, in memory of Dennis George. Funeral arrangements are in care of Boire Funeral Home, Estevan.

Irene Angele Guillemin
(May 15, 1939 - April 12, 2008)

GUILLEMIN – On Saturday, April 12, 2008, Irene Angele Guillemin, formerly of Forget, SK, passed away peacefully at the age of 68 years, surrounded by her family. Irene was predeceased by her parents, Ernest and Selestine Dechief and her brother Alex Dechief. She is survived by her family: her loving husband of 49½ years, René; daughters, Kathy (Larry) Babichuk, Deborah (Cliff) Smith and Darlene Gress; eight grandchildren, Cody, Justin, Taylor, Shawn, Christopher, Janelle, Miranda and Jaice, as well as numerous relatives and friends.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, April 15, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady of La Salette R.C. Church, Forget, by Rev. Lorne D. Crozon. Interment will follow in Our Lady of La Salette Parish Cemetery, Forget. In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make donations to the Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan in Irene’s memory. Lars Norman Kjersem
(June 25, 1926 - April 12, 2008)

KJERSEM – Lars Norman (Slim) was born June 25, 1926 and passed away peacefully April 12, 2008 in Estevan, at the age of 81 years. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 56 years Wanda (nee Krueger), Roche Percee. Children, Colleen (Allan) Stead, Roche Percee; Daniel, Roche Percee. Grandchildren, Janine (Shawn) Petterson, Estevan; Tanya (Bruce) Mantei, Outram; Tyler (Yolita) Stead, Estevan. Great-Grandchildren, Carson and Ian Petterson and Abby Mantei. Sisters, Lillian (Rob) Farmer, Sydney, B.C.; Gudrun Loustel, Weyburn; Esther Wanner, Estevan. Sisters-in-law, Thelma, Estevan; Elizabeth, Estevan, and numerous nephews and nieces. He is predeceased by his parents John and Dorathea; infant son Brian; sisters, Martha Andersen; Dorothy Rohatyn; Esther Kjersem; brothers, Stanley; Ingvald and John (Pat). Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Forest Glen Cemetery, with Wilma Woods officiating. Please join the family for a time of fellowship and refreshments, to be held at the Roche Percee Hall following the service. Neil Douglas Page
(February 8, 1987 - April 13, 2008)

PAGE – On Sunday, April 13, 2008, Neil Douglas Page passed away in Redvers, SK at the age of 21 years. Neil was predeceased by one brother Craig and both grandfathers, George Page and Robert Martin. He is survived by his loving family: parents, Doug and Judy Page of Redvers, SK; brother Kyle Page of Redvers; sister Erin Page of Redvers; grandmothers, Freda Page and Mary Martin Drader, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. A Memorial Service for Neil will be held on Friday, April 18, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Knox United Church, Redvers, with Rev. Michelle Moore officiating. Interment will take place at a later date. Raymond John Fieber
(May 12, 1935 - April 14, 2008)

FIEBER – On Monday, April 14, 2008, Raymond John Fieber, late of Estevan, passed away in Estevan at the age of 72 years. Raymond was predeceased by his parents, Steve and Margaret and two brothers, Steve and Tony. He is survived by his loving family: wife June; children, Brent (Raelene), Keagan and Preston, Twyla (Alf) Tide, Brendan and Nolan and Vanessa (Kirby) Marcotte, Connor and Isabel, all of Estevan, SK; sisters, Evelyn (Fred) Fornwald of Lampman, SK, Marie (Leonard) Ludwig of Estevan, Margaret Agyeman of Esterhazy, SK, Anne (Hank) Ohochinsky of Yorkton, SK, Pat (Donald) Keating of Regina, SK and Linda (Larry) Jesse of Medicine Hat, AB; sister-in-law Mary Fieber of Lampman, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15, 2008, 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. from the chapel of Boire Funeral Home, Estevan. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. from St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church, Estevan, by Rev. Lorne D. Crozon. Interment will follow in the Estevan City Cemetery. Honourary Pallbearers are Ray’s AA, AL-ANON Family. Those so wishing may make donations to the Canadian Cancer Society or June Fieber in trust for Club 80 in memory of Raymond Fieber. Funeral arrangements are in care of Boire Funeral Home, Estevan.

Gilles Henri Blezy
(August 2, 1954 - April 2, 2008)

BLEZY – On Wednesday, April 2, 2008, Gilles Henri Blezy, late of Storthoaks, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 53 years. Gilles was predeceased by his parents, Marcel and Anne Marie Blezy and brother Aurele Blezy. He is survived by his loving family: wife Francine; two sons, Kevin Blezy and Trent Blezy; four brothers, Gerald Blezy, Raymond (Diane) Blezy, Herve (Annie) Blezy and Alain (Debbie) Blezy, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Prayer Service will be held on Thursday, April 10, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. and Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. by Rev. Fr. Francis Hengen. Both services from St. Anthony R.C. Church, Storthoaks. Interment will follow in St. Anthony Parish Cemetery, Storthoaks. Those so wishing may make donations to St. Anthony R.C. Kenneth “Joe” Dube
(April 17, 1917 - April 20, 2008)

DUBE – On Sunday, April 20, 2008, Kenneth “Joe” Dube, late of Carlyle, passed away in Carlyle at the age of 91 years. Joe was a long term businessman in the Carlyle area was the first ever GM Dealer in Carlyle. Joe was predeceased by his Parents and one son, Carl. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Minnie of Carlye, SK; daughter Lorraine (Rob) Pletch and granddaughter Kristen, daughter Loretta (Mike) Korven and grandchildren, Jennifer (Scott), Michelle (Jeff), Patricia (Darcy), and David, son Ken (Elvira) Dube and grandchildren Adam (Kristie), Nicholas, Karen, and Janet. Joe also leaves behind numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and many great friends.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tueday, April 22, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the Church of our Lady R.C. Church, Carlyle, Sk, by Rev. Fr. David Banga. Interment will follow in the Glen Morris Cemetery, Carlyle. A prayer service will be held on Monday, April 21, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. from the Church of our Lady R.C. Church, Carlyle. Those so wishing may make donations to the Church of our Lady R.C. Church, Carlye, in memory of Joe Dube. Funeral arrangements are in care of Boire Funeral Home, Estevan (634-8233).

Norbert Leo Off
(April 10, 1929– April21, 2008)

OFF - On Monday, April 21, 2008, Norbert Leo Off, late of Carlyle, SK, passed away peacefully at the age of 79 years. Leo was born on April 10, 1929. He was born and raised in Langenburg, SK. He lived and worked in different provinces until settling in Carlyle, SK. He will be lovingly remembered by his daughter Sharon (Ward) Hehn, grandson Jesse Hehn, granddaughters, Jensina Hehn and Jolene Hehn, all of Rosemary, AB; grandsons, Richard (Bobby Jo) Clayton and Joe Clayton, great grandsons Brayden Clayton and William Clayton, all of Cold Lake, AB; sisters, Cecilia, Heddie and Loretta and sister-in-law Verna, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Leo was predeceased by his parents, Michael and Mary; son Richard; brothers, John, Michael and Francis (infancy); brothers-in-law Harry, Leo and Ted, and one step sister Mary. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. from the Roman Catholic Church of Our Lady, Carlyle, SK, by Rev. David Banga. Interment will take place in the Wordsworth Cemetery. Those so wishing may make donations to a charity of choice in Leo’s memory. Harvey Joseph George
(August 13, 1937 - April 22, 2008)

GEORGE – On Tuesday, April 22, 2008, Harvey Joseph George, late of Redvers, passed away in Regina at the age of 70 years. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, April 26, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. from Our Lady of Fatima R.C. Church, Redvers, by Rev. Francis Hengen. Interment will follow in the Redvers Town Cemetery. Yvette Marie Gervais
(June 9, 1931 - April 7, 2008)

GERVAIS – On Monday, April 7, 2008, Yvette Marie Gervais, late of Estevan, passed away in Estevan at the age of 76 years. Yvette was predeceased by her parents, Raoul and Regine Gervais; sisters Aline (Rene) Phaneuf and Yvonne LaCoste and brothers, Paul Gervais, Roland Gervais and Raymond (Clara) Gervais. She is survived by her brothers Joseph (Alice) Gervais of Estevan, SK, Edmond (Geraldine) Gervais of Macoun, SK and Lawrence (Donna) Gervais of Drayton Valley, AB; sister Angeline (Art) Friesen and sister-in-law Esther Colbow, as well as numerous nieces and nephews and special friend Kellie Harrison.
Prayer Service will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at 7:30 p.m. from the chapel of Boire Funeral Home, Estevan. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday, April 10th at 10:30 a.m. from St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Estevan, by Rev. Fr. Lorne D. Crozon. Interment will follow in Souris Valley Memorial Gardens, Estevan. Yvette was the first-ever resident of St. Joseph’s Special Care Home in Estevan, and her family would like to extend their gratitude to the staff for their many years of loving care. In lieu of flowers, those so wishing may make donations to the St. Joseph’s Hospital Foundation – Long Term Care, in memory of Yvette Gervais. Henrie was predeceased by his parents, Maurice and Alice; son David; two brothers in infancy; sister-in-law Sylvia and brother-in-law Felix Gawel. He is survived by his loving family: wife of 49 years, Marie Tessier of Lampman; daughter Debra (Duane) Tomporowski; two grandchildren, Samantha and Will; four brothers, Phil, Armand (Rita), Everett (Darlene) and Br. Dominic; two sisters, Bernadette Gawel and Cecilia (George) McGillicky, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Ben Leonard Resler
(August 8, 1912 - August 16, 2008)

RESLER – The families of Benno (Ben) Leonard Resler wish to announce his passing at the Lampman Community Health Centre, Lampman, SK on Saturday, August 16, 2008, a few days after his 96th birthday. Ben was born on August 8, 1912 in Landau Russia. He was predeceased by his parents, Emmanual and Marian Resler; wife Marion (nee Gress); brothers, Leonard, Frank, Emmanual and Pete and sisters, Kay, Eleanor and Madeline. He is survived by his loving family: children, Bernie (Doug) Folk, Ron (Gerry) Resler, Pat (John) Grimes, Greg (Evelyn) Resler and Marv (Annette) Resler; grandchildren, Angela, Kim (Jamie), Derrick (Christine), Nicole, Renee (George), Trina (Duane), Keith, Ashley, Kelsey, Garrett and Connor; great grandchildren, Jadynn, Tegan, Justin, Rachel, Lauren, Kalie, Taylor, Morgan, Charlie, Hudson, Darian, Alyssa and Emma; brother Chris; sisters, Rosemary, Pearl, Adeline and Barbara, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Cremation will follow and a private family interment will take place in Our Lady of Seven Sorrows Parish Cemetery, Lampman. Victor Stanley Young

YOUNG – On Thursday, August 21, 2008, Victor Stanley Young, late of Bienfait, SK, passed away in Estevan, SK at the age of 66 years. Victor Young was born on March 7, 1942 at Carnduff, SK. Victor was predeceased by his parents, Roy and Marion Young; brother Arden Young and brother-in-law Glen Carruthers. He is survived by his loving family: wife of 39 years, Darlene Young of Bienfait; two sons, Wade Young of Estevan and Darcy Young of Estevan; siblings, Grace (Jim) Potter of Brandon, MB, Gordon (Merle) Young of Radville, SK and Mary Jean Carruthers of Beaumont, AB; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kon and Rose Stoppler of Bow Island, AB; sisters-in-law Peggy Willman of Gull Lake, SK and Debbie (Dale) Wheeler of Bow Island, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
