Liberal MLA, Edmonton-Castle Downs
Pamela Paul studied political science a the University of Alberta. She was first elected to the Alberta Legislature in 1997, and is now critic in the Liberal opposition responsible for Career Development and Employment, and for Tourism.
Before being elected to the provincial legislature, Ms. Paul was an alderman in St.Albert, and a public school trustee in Drumheller Valley, School District #62. She was coordinator of Promotions and Special Events for a dinner theatre, and former women's shelter crisis intervention counsellor.
Past and present community involvement includes: Chair of the Volunteer Resource Centre, member of the United Way Planning and Allocations Board, member of the Edmonton Metropolitan Regional Planning Commission, and member of the Policing Community Services Committee.
Pamela was born on July 6, 1948. She is married to George, and they have two adult children.
