Peacefully at his residence on Monday August 9th 1999 in his 86th year. Gabriele Malerba beloved husband of Maria. Dearest father of Donata Palladino and her husband Armando, Antonio Malerba and his wife Alba. Loving Nonno of Ernesta and Brian Fritz, Maria and Istref Zeka, Gabriele Paladino, Tony and Shelly Palladino, Lina and Curt Bosch, Mike Palladino, Nick and Rachelle Palladino, Gabriele and Kasia Malerba, Mary and Louie Di Giovanni. Adoring Great Malerba, Nonno of Justin, Holden, Zachary, Jeremy, Ryan, Jessica, Lucas, Noah, Matthew, and Hunter. Dear brother and brother in law of Antonio and Giuseppina Malerba, Giovanni and Lucia Malerba, Livia and Biagio Cichaglione, Maria and the late Antonio Anturchi, the late Ernesto and Rosina Petta, Gaetano and Adelina Petta, Eliadoro and Maria Petta, Armenia and Beniamino, Giovanni and Maria Petta, Nick and Giuseppina Petta, Latizia and Pasquale Valerio.

Benedetto Olivieri
September 6, 1914 - January 14, 2000

Peacefully at the Atrium Villa on Friday, January 14, 2000 in his 86th year. Benedetto Olivieri, beloved husband of the late Assunta Quaglia (1985). Dearly loved father of Mirian and her husband Ugo Dalla Pasqa of Hamilton. Dr. Anthony Olivieri and his wife Dobrila of Stoney Creek.

Benedetto will be deeply missed by his cherished grandchildren Christian, Anthony, Alex, and Petra. Benedetto is survived by sister-in-law Delia Olivieri of Port Alberni, British Columbia, and brother-in-law Sabatino Auglia and his wife Marietta of Hamilton. Also survived by many neices and nephews in Italy, Belgium, USA, BC, and Ontario.

Predeceased by brothers Mario Olivieri (1985) of BC, Domenico Olivieri (1989), and his wife Monica (1992) of Italy. Predeceased by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Antonio Quaglia, Franco and Brigida Quaglia, Angelina and Mariano Mirafiore, Regina and Alfonso Montemurri, Graziano Quaglia, Pierino and Carmina Quaglia, Sr. Anatolia Quaglia, and Rev. Emidio Quaglia.

Benedetto was a longtime member of the Gagliano Aterno Club before his illness and a retiree of Stelco with 30 years of service.

Visitation at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James) on Sunday and Monday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Vigil Prayers Monday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass Tuesday 11 o'clock at St. Margaret Mary Church, 20 Idlewood Avenue with Entombment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetary. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Canadian Diabetes Associations (385-3535) or Heart and Stroke Foundation (574-4105) would be appreciated by the family.

May 11, 1925 - November 25, 1999

After a Brief illness, at St. Joseph's Hospital on November 25, 1999, in his 75th year. Beloved husband of 51 years to Carmela. Dearest father and father-in-law of George ad Josie Centritto, Nicolina and Tony DiDonato, Maria and Russ Archibald, Bruno and Nancy Centritto. Loving Nonno of Anthony, Vinnie, David, Francine, Michael, Chelsea and Corrina. Dear brother and brother-in-law of Giuseppe and Maria Centritto (Italy), Anna and the late Vincenzo Zingaro, Luciano and Maria Centritto (Venezuela), Pasquale and Maria Centritto, Maria and Antonio Delmano (Switzerland), Giovanni and Adriana Centritto (Italy), Aurelia and Vincenzo Caiella. Antonio will be sadly missed by his many nieces and nephews.

He was a longtime employee of National Slag. The family wish to express their appreciation to the wonderful doctors and nurses at St. Joseph's I.C.U. Chest Unit and Ward 5.

Left with many wonderful memories are his beloved wife, Concetta and his children, Frank and Clara Pecora, Virginia and Nick Sabatino and Maurizio and Rita Pecora.

Cherished Nanuzzo of grandchildren, Stephanie, Anthony, Santino and Danielle.

Survived by his parents, Fracesco Virginia Pecora. Predeceaced by his in-laws, Giovanni and Virginia DeRose.

Beloved brother and brother-in-law of Aurora and John Bozzo, Romano and Maria Pecora, Vania and Peter Ruffolo and Ottavio Pecora, all of Hamilton, Alba and Pasquale Filice, Rita and Aurelio Ferrantone, Ippolito DeRose, Gina Scornaienchi, all of Toronto, Ida and Joe Bonofiglio of Lima, Ohio, Giulia and the late Guido DePaolo, Anna and Ippolito DeMarco, Tonino and Francesca DeRose, sister Maria Pia and Fracesco DeRose, all of Italy.

Will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles, dear friend Pietro Mauri and many other friends.

We will dearly miss Antonino Palmieri who passed away in his 81st year at the General Hospital in the early hours of October 22 1999.

Pre-deceased by his wife Gilda, loving father of Adrian and his wife Liz, Maria and her husband Lou and Angelo and his wife Nicol. Devoted grandfather to Michael, Katie, Sara, Joe, Vanessa, Lisa and Simon.

Family and friends may pay their respects at Friscolanti Funeral Home Saturday and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Margaret Mary Church with internment to follow at Holy Sepulchre cemetery.

Loving father of Fausto Marcoccia, Lori Ferro and her husband Davide, all of Hamilton. Devoted son of Fausto and the late Ascenza Marcoccia. Dear brother of Ezio. Mario will be sadly missed by his brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws in Italy, and his many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Andy will be missed by his family in Poland and Montreal. Dear brother-in-law of Gina and the late Giovanni Amicocci, Giuseppina and the late Mario Amicocci, Saveria and the late Emidio Amicocci, Guido and the late Maria Leone, Alessandro and Elia Amicocci, Epifano and the late Maria Giovanna Amicocci and the late Anna Amicocci. Andy will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Andy was a Dofasco retiree with over thirty years service.

Peacefully at home, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, March 16, 2000. Mary was entrusted to the eternal care of our Lord.

Beloved wife of 55 years of Severino (Lolly). Devoted mother of Marilyn Bull (Bob); Carl and his wife Carla; Linda Gatto (Jerry); Annette Brown (Jim). A wonderful and adoring Nonna to Steven and Christopher Bull, Nicholas and Daniel Maragno; Gennaro, Severina and Alfredo Gatto and Bianca Brown. Deeply missed by her loving sister Lucy McSweeney and sister-in-law Pauline Amalfi.

Mary is predeceased by her parents Fortunato and Caterina Amalfi; Father-in-law and mother-in-law Carlo and Maria Maragno; sister Angela Amalfi and brother Santo (Sonny) Amalfi; Brothers-in-law Edward McSweeney, Linda Maragno, Neil Maragno and his wife Dolores and their son Craig. Survived by dearly loved nephews and nieces Fred, Cathy, Rita, Danny, Frank, Joanne, Christine and Brett.

Loving Grandmother of Mitchell Kowalski and his wife Audrey, Kenneth Kowalski and his wife Susie, Constance Ciraco and her husband Vito, Loretta, Stasia, Chuck and Paula Marie Skrok. Darling Great-granma to, Dante, Darius, Dominic, Maia, Max, Alex and Kyle. Dear sister of the late Benny Plamowski, the late Joseph Umanetz, the late Stella Trendocher, and the late Walter Umanetz. Beloved wife of the late Nicola Parato. Dear mother and mother-in-law of Maria, Antoinette and Nick Halt, Anna, John and Susan Parato. Dearly loved grandmother of Sean, Kristan, Alexis and Nicolas.

Survived by sisters Graziella and Maria, and brothers Frank and Dominic, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Resting at the Friscolanti Funeral Chapel, 43 Barton Street East (near James). Entombment will be at Holy Sepulchre cemetery. Prayers will be Friday at 8 p.m. and visitation will be Thursday 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.
