Villiam Kalju TAMMER

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Villiam, beloved husband of Armilde, on May 28, 2003, at the age of 80 years. Lovingly missed by daughter Aida (Darcy), daughter Evi (Agu), son Martin (Sandi) and grandchildren Rein, Riina, Sara and Adam. Also survived by sister Ilse, brothers Ferdinand and Helmut and their families. The family will receive friends at the DODSWORTH & BROWN Funeral Home, ROBINSON CHAPEL (King Street East at Wellington) on Sunday from 6-8 p.m. Funeral Service on Monday at 1 p.m. Interment Woodland cemetery.

Peacefully at the Kingston General Hospital on Saturday May 31, 2003 in his 80th year. Raymond, dearly beloved husband and best friend for 49 years to Joan Cowan. Loving father of Richard (Cheryl) of Kingston, Naomi (Jeffrey) Levy of Hamilton and Robert (Rachel) of Toronto. Devoted and loving grandfather of Valerie and Erin, Rachel and Jonathan and Sarah. Dear brother of Greta Florence (the late Earl Florence) and predeceased by brother Aaron (and his wife Birdie) and sister Doris Berofe. Survived by brother in law Harry Berofe. Incredibly devoted son to the late Archie and Sarah Kizell. He will be greatly missed by his many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Ray’s greatest joy in life was being with his many family and friends and sharing time with them. His summer enjoyment was entertaining on his boat, the “Chelsea”. He enjoyed people and his entrepreneurial spirit was focused on owning and operating the Doreta Apparel Shoppes. He was devoted to the Kingston Community, especially to the Beth Israel Synagogue, the Board of the Kingston General Hospital and the State of Israel. A special thank you to Dr. Waddell, the staff of Connell 3 and the many health care workers for their compassionate care.

Funeral Services will be held at Beth Israel Synagogue, Centre Street, on Monday June 2, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Interment in Beth Israel cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Kingston General Hospital, Coronary Care Unit or the Beth Israel Synagogue.

Shiva will be held at 32 Dickens Drive.

DESROSIERS, Donald "Bud" 74 years. Died on May 31, 2004 at Victoria Hospital, London, Ontario. Dearest friends and companion of Marcella Daly. Loving father of Donny, Larry, JoAnne & Dwight Ellis, Janice & friend Keith Garvey, Mary, Mike & Candace, Darryl, Joe & Karen, Anne Marie & Tony Martin, and the late Tony (1994). Will be sadly missed by Emma. Will also be sadly missed by Roletta & Dave, Sue Anne & Gerry, Helen & Bill, Wesley, Robert, Richard, 26 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Dear brother of Kirk, Gary, Frank, Eleanor, Marie, George, Jimmy, May, Jean and parents Leonard and Mary (nee Kirk). At West Park Health Care Centre on Friday, May 23, 2003 in his 78th year. Predeceased by 4 brothers and 5 sisters. Lovingly remembered by many dear nieces, nephews, family and friends. Mr. Cloutier was a former employee of Port Weller Dry Docks retiring in 1986 and was a member of Les Hommes Catholique Honoraire. Friends will be received at the PATRICK J. DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 39 Court St. (at King) on Saturday morning May 31, 2003 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Th e Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated in Eglise Immaculee Conception at 11:00 a.m. Cremation. Sadly missed by grandchildren Kimber and husband Bill Bodfield, Debra and husband Wayne Seguin, Krista and husband Mike Del Gatto, great grandchildren Kevin, Jackie, Kennedy, Megan, Sydney, Katelyn and Campbell. A sister Beryl Burton of Merseyside, England. Predeceased by brothers Bernard and Brian Cadden. A special thank you to God’s Angels on earth the staff at Versa Care and Dr. Rosanne Ng. Dearest grandmother of Matthew and Alexander Masse. Special friend and companion of the late Leonard J. Denomme (1994). Dearest sister of Carl Aker of Winnipeg, Manitoba, Ruth Aker of Winnipeg, Manitoba and predeceased by Rose and Al Jewell, Gert and Geroge Mitchell and Earl, Jack and Roy Aker. Best friend of Eleanor Parent and the late Virginia Owen (2003). She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews.

Dear son of the late Donato & Giovanna. Loving father of Dan & wife Laurilyn DiVito and Jova & husband Michael O’Malley. Dear Nonno of Matthew & Lisa Desmarais and Michael & Danielle DiVito. Brother of Pietro & wife Elsa DiVito, Lucia & husband Giuseppe Giglio and the late Adelia Morga.

Visitation will be Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. Prayers Wednesday at 8 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2003 at 10:15 a.m. from the Janisse Bros-Marcotte Funeral Home, 1139 Ouellette Avenue, to St. Patrick’s Church for Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow at Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. After a lengthy illness, on Monday, May 19, 2003 at Kingston General Hospital, at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Gertrude “Trudy”. Loving father of Bonnie (Leo) Marland. Dear grandfather of John, Annie and Cathy. Survived by his sister Florence (Russell) Barrett of Manotick, brother Florent (Marie Jeanne) of Hudson Quebec, sister-in-law Lorraine Sowpal of Kamloops, B.C. and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 5 of his siblings. Joe will be fondly remembered by his friends and colleagues in Edmonton, where he worked for 30 years.

At the family’s request, there will be no visitation. A memorial Liturgy of the Word will be held on Monday, May 26, 2003 at 1 p.m. at the Central Chapel of the Gordon F. Tompkins Funeral Home, 49 Colborne St. (at Clergy). Interment of Joe’s remains will take place at a later date, in Edmonton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or the Canadian Cancer Society.

On Thursday, May 15, 2003, at the Christopher Terrace Senior's Residence in Burlington. Jean, beloved wife of the late James Cherrie and his wife George-Anne of Niagara Falls. Grandmother of Ian, David and Jay Cherrie and great-grandmother of 8 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her two grandsons Jamie and Scott Cherrie. Cremation has taken place. Loving mother of John of Windsor, Jennifer Ross and husband Scott of Mississauga. Matthew and Daniel both of Fonthill, Ontario, Grandchild Jordan MacKenzie, son of John White. Beloved daughter of Roy Bristow of Windsor and the late Lillian (nee St. Louis - 2000). Sharon practiced Law in the City of Windsor from 1992 until October 2002, when she had to close her practice because of her battle with cancer.
