A resident of Chatham, died at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus on Friday October 3, 2003 at the age of 53. Born in Chatham, son of Mary Shreve of Chatham, and the late Harry Shreve. Beloved husband of Angie Shreve. Loving father of Kristin, Jenna, and Tanya Shreve, all of Chatham. Brother of Robert Shreve of Hamilton, Hilda and Sandy Scott of North Buxton, Ellwood and Judy Shreve of Chatham, Gord and Myrna Shreve of Hamilton, Garnet and Allison Shreve of Blind River, Linda Dudley of Chatham, and Allen Shreve of Chatham. Predeceased by brother Norman Shreve, and brother-in-law Paul Dudley. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Murray was an employee of Oxford Automotive, Wallaceburg since 1987. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service from the Funeral Home on Monday October 6, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Gregory Bonin of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church officiating. Interment St. Anthony cemetery , Chatham. Donations made by cheque to Canadian Cancer Society appreciated.

Born in Detroit, Michigan, son of Mrs. Lou Beavers of Detroit and the late Dellingham Beavers. Beloved husband of Ruth Ann (Travis) Hicks. Brother of Christine Beavers of Detroit and the late Delan Beavers. Brother-in-law of Stanley Travis & his wife Cathy of Chatham, Burnard Travis & his wife Cathy of R.R.#6 Merlin, Evelyn McClure & her husband Dr. Joe McClure of London, Burneda Sykes & her husband Jack of Blenheim, and Bonnie Boal & her husband Lloyd of Ridgetown. Son-in-law of Mrs. Mary B. Travis of R.R.#6 Merlin and the late Cecil Travis (1982). Also survived by a number of nieces & nephews, aunts & uncles. Jimmie served in the U.S. Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Monday from 2:00-4:30 p.m. & 7:00-9:00 p.m. Funeral Service at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 7, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Donald Wright officiating. Born in Chatham Ontario, the daughter of the late Dave and Blanch (Lucier) Lozon. Beloved wife of 66 years of Mede Authier. Dear mother of Yvonne Duceder, Jean Robertson and her husband Ken, Leo Authier and his companion Leona all of Chatham and the late Jim Authier (1995). Mother-in-law of Norma Basili, Alvina Authier and the late Gerald Duceder (1994) Loved by her grandchildren Geraldine, Lori, Bradley, David, Jacqueline, Pamela, Ray and Christopher, and 7 great grandchildrern. Sister of the late Lester Lozon and survived by a sister-in-law Leona Lozon of Chatham. The Authier family will receive friends at The Funeral Home, 459 St.Clair St., Chatham on Friday 2:00-4:30 and 7:00-9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers 3:00 p.m. Friday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church 145 Victoria Ave., Chatham on Saturday October 11, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Fr. Joseph Nevett officiating. Beloved husband of the late Grace (Daigneault) Doyle (1973) Dear father of Michael and Diana Doyle of Clarksburg and Corinne and Rick Elliott of Shetland. Grandfather of Christine Doyle and Jessica, Danelle and David Elliott. Brother of Noel, Marie, Jim, Bernie and Leonard of New Westminster B.C. Brother in-law of the late Gib and Eva Daigneault. Raymond was a proud veteran of World War II and Korea and Past Grand Knight and Honourary Life member of the 4th Degree Council 1412 in Chatham. Family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home , Ridgetown on October 10, 2003 from 3:00 -5:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m.. Beloved husband of Ethel Currie. Dear father of Valerie MacCalman and her husband Walter, and Rev. Douglas Currie and his wife Pauline. Cherished grandfather of Craig MacCalman (Rachael), Janet MacCalman, Brandon Currie, and Melanie Currie. Brother of Muriel (the late Jack), Edward (Dorothy), and predeceased by his siblings Edna (the late William) and Lloyd (the late Edna). A Funeral Service will be held at MacCoubrey Funeral Home, 30 King St. E. in Cobourg on Thursday, April 28th, at 2pm. Visitation to be held at the funeral home for one hour prior to the service, from 1 to 2 pm. Interment at Baltimore United Church cemetery. Dearest Uncle to nieces and nephews Bernard, John, Maureen, Joan, Karen, Sheila, Jeffery and Janis. Alphonsus will be deeply missed by many cousins.
