Bruce Johnston in his 65th year, was the loving husband of Nancy. Beloved father to Jeff (Mhairi) of Brooklin, Brent of Orillia and Shannon of St. Catharines. Much loved Grandfather of Mykaela and Carson Johnston. Dear brother to Brian (Mary) Johnston of Kitchener. Best friend and brother-in-law to John (Peggy) Johnson of Acton, and adored uncle to many. It is with heartfelt sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear husband, father, Poppy, and friend, on Saturday, April 15, and since he lived his entire life for his family, it is only fitting that his loved ones were with him, holding his hand on his last days. He is remembered as a tender, thoughtful, generous, and good-humoured man who made eternal friends with everyone he met and touched the heart of anyone who knew him well. Wiggan John, loving husband of 20 years and heart sharer with Cindy, dedicated father to Kyrianne and Jonathan, also father to Jesse, passed away very suddenly at his home on Saturday April 29, 2006. The loyal and hard working Controller of ‘Kirsch and Gidaro Marketing’ in Woodbridge, John was the proud owner of “Going Concern Bookkeeping and Taxation”, a thriving young business in the City of Barrie. He was loyal, reliable and steadfast, and he treasured his times with his friends. He couldn’t dance or sing well, but he sure could play ball hockey! He will be sadly missed by the Scouting community; Scouter John was Akela, treasurer and vital member of the 1st Holly Cub Pack. A dedicated Dallas Cowboys & Habs fan and connoisseur of international brews, Mr. Harmony, founding member and treasurer of the ‘Guider Husband League’ (GHL) will be missed at their annual attempts at fishing and golfing.
