HOHSDORF, Joseph (R.C.D.C. - 30 years service) Suddenly and peacefully in hospital Wednesday October 11, 2000. Joe Hohsdorf age 71. Beloved husband of Elisabeth Kempf. Loving father of Marion Alexander (Stephen), Monica McGrath (Shawn) and Robert (Carrie). Proud Opa of Ryan Joseph McGrath and Alexander Paul and Jayna Alexandra Hohsdorf. Special thanks to the doctors and nurses of the Ottawa Hospital - General Campus, Emergency Room and Intensive Care Unit, for their excellent care and attention. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 2370 St. Joseph Blvd., Orleans, Monday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral Service Monday in the Chapel at 1 p.m. In memoriam donations to the Ottawa Regional Cancer Centre Foundation appreciated.

BADHAM, Sadie Elizabeth (Betty) (nee MacLaren) Peacefully, at the Arnprior Memorial Hospital, on Saturday, November 18, 2000, at the age of 67. Loving wife and best friend of James of 41 years. Caring mother of Shelley (Lynus), David (Dale), Donald (Linda) and Ian (Julie). Dear grandmother of Andrew, Katlyn, Allan, Nicole and Laura. She will be sadly missed by her mother Bessie MacLaren. Predeceased by her father Roy. Survived by her sisters Alice, Helen, and Penny, and brothers David and Brian. Friends may call at the Valley Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 115 Rivington Street, Carp, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until noon. Funeral Service Wednesday at St. George's Anglican Church, Fitzroy Harbour, at 1:00 p.m. Burial at St. George's Anglican Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Parkinson's Foundation of Canada, or the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.

Dear brother of Jean Ebert, Buelah Reid, Leonard Crawford, James Crawford, and Dale Crawford. Predeceased by brother David. Sadly missed by grandchildren Katie-Leigh, Brandon, Reid, Victoria, Jillian and Danny, and many neighbours and friends. Resting at the McPhail & Perkins Funeral Home, 85 Munro Avenue at Lorne, Renfrew, on Monday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. and Tuesday from 10 to 10:45 a.m. where the funeral will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. Interment Horton Cemetery. DELAHUNTY, John Patrick Well known "Softball Pitcher," Senior City League After the longest and toughest "inning" of his life, John passed away on Friday, November 17th, 2000. Left with memories to treasure are his beloved wife Connie (nee Wilkie), daughters Gail and Wendy, (pre-deceased by sons Barry and John Jr.) and their spouses David Quinton, Tony Dewan and Judi Delahunty (nee Peckham). The best grandfather a kid could ever have to Bridget, Alison and Darren Quinton; Brandy, Meghan and Seamus Dewan; and Jodi and Christopher Delahunty. Brother-in-law to Ed Wilkie and Loretta Delahunty. The youngest of nine children, John was the last living member of his immediate family. March 17th will never be the same without you! Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home 2313 Carling Ave. (west of Woodroffe) Sunday from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Monday to St. George's Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m.

DEVER, Gretchen (Gay) (nee Heidman) Passed away on Friday, November 17, 2000, in the care of the Civic Hospital staff at the age of 89. Born November 15, 1911 in Ottawa. Graduated from the Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal, she spent a lifetime caring for and about others. She had a deep respect for and love of nature and took great satisfaction from a garden full of flowers which it was her pleasure to share. She especially enjoyed music, babies, animals, clouds and trees. Her faith was a constant which sustained her daily throughout her life. Gay is survived by Walter her loving husband of 61 years, her sister Isobel Read, sons John, Richard and Dan (Kitty) all of Ottawa-Carleton, her daughter Susan Nakamichi (Masaki). Grandmother to Janet, Matthew, Stephen, Jason, Jennifer, Eric, Elli, Ken and Mari and her great-grandchildren, Ashley and Briana. Predeceased by her brothers Stewart and Carl and her sister Connie Graham. We will miss her, as will her nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Memorial Visitation will be held at the Pinecrest Cemetery Visitation Centre (2500 Baseline Road, Ottawa) on Tuesday, November 21, 2000 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Memorial Service at 2:00 p.m. in the Pinecrest Cemetery Chapel. A gathering of family and friends will follow in the Pinecrest Reception Centre. In lieu of flowers, in memoriam donations to Charity of one's Choice would be appreciated. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Cole Funeral Services, 831-7122.

Dear grandfather of Steven, Brant, Pamela, Shawn, Andrew and Catherine. Great-grandfather of William, Sarah Grace, and Mackenzie. Gene was predeceased by all of his family of ten.
