Rev. Marjorie Elizabeth Smith-Vipond (nee Finlay) Peacefully at her home on Saturday August 17, 2002 in her 62nd year. A resident of Big Cedar, Hawkestone and formerly of Dalston, Niagara Falls, Lindsay and Harcourt. Beloved wife of Rev. Dave Vipond. Loving mother of Don nalee Smith (Karl Stoll), Derek Smith (Joanne Dillon-Smith), Mark Smith (Doris Weiler), Marsha Smith (John Futtit), Martin Smith, and Marguerite Hannan (Bill Hannan). Stepmother of Fiona Vipond Hallman (Grant Hallman) and Ian Vipond (Jeanette). Dear sister of Jim Finlay (Terry), Bill Finlay and sister in law of Dorothy Windrem, Wilna Finlay, Jean and Colin Jemison. Cherished Grandma of Peter, Owen, and Simon Stoll, Nathaniel Dillon Smith, Dillon Charron, Martin Smith Futtit, Jacob and Jasmine Bolger. Predeceased by first husband Don ald Smith, brother Richard Finlay, sister Gwen Finlay Smith and parents Rex Hiliard and Marguerite Finlay. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM Funeral Home (Clapperton and Worsley Streets), Barrie on Monday 7-9 p.m. and Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Service from Grace United Church, Barrie on Wednesday August 21st at 10:00 a.m. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Niagara Falls at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to The Healing Journey (Princess Margaret, Hospital) would be appreciated. Condolences may be forwarded through Marj has completed her healing journey after a long battle with cancer.

Survived by brothers Norm Wright and his wife Evelyn of Midland, Gordon Wright and his wife Glady of Toronto and Danny Wright and his sisters Nolan Wright of California and Phyllis Boyce of Toronto. Dear father of Jim Allison of Temagami, Ken Allison and his wife Debbie of Penticton, B.C., Jack Allison and his wife Linda of Burlington, and Todd Allison and his wife Donna of Barrie. Loving grandfather. affectionately called Boppa, of Jamie and her husband Adam, Brian, Tyler, Kelsey, Kristy, and Corey Allison. Predeceased by his infant sister Margaret. Jack will be greatly missed by other family and his many friends. Grandfather of Paul, Dennis, Gordon, Randy and Tracey and great grandfather of 14 great grandchildren. Brother of the late Melville Cook. Loving grandmother of Kelly and Mike Porporo, Leslie and Keith Richards all of Whitby, Nancy Green and her husband Bryce of Carstairs, Alberta, Adrian and Aaron Blogg of Oro Station.
Great Grandmother of Emma, Alexandra, Matthew and William.
Dear sister of Audrey Campbell and her husband Herb of London, Roy West and his wife Gerry of Lanark, Robert West and his wife Pearl of Brampton, and the late Arthur West and his late wife Edythe.
Sister-in-law of Winnie Malcolm and her late husband Frank of Collingwood, Ted Blogg and his wife Marion of Barrie, Connie Campbell and her husband Maurice of Barrie, and the late William Blogg and his late wife Donna of Barrie, the late Lionel Blogg and his late wife Minnie of Michigan, and the late Oswald Blogg.
