HENNEBRY, Margaret - Peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Monday, June 9th, 2003. Margaret Hennebry (nee Carpenter) of Barrie, and formerly of Minesing, in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Matt Hennebry. Dear mother of Jon Hennebry and his wife Sheryl of Barrie, and Lora Hennebry of Florida. Dear grandmother of Jenna, Jake, and Joy. Great-grandmother of Alexander and Timothy, Matthew and Truman. Predeceased by sisters Muriel and Helen. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, Yonge Street at Minet’s Point Road, Barrie, after 10:00 a.m. Friday. Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, June 13th at 11:00 a.m. Interment later, Minesing Union Cemetery. Memorial donations to Minesing United Church would be appreciated by the family.

Herbert, Nettie Viola

HERBERT, Nettie Viola - Peacefully at Soldiers Memorial Hospital, Orillia on Friday April 4, 2003. Nettie Viola (nee Mainprise) of Orillia was in her 84th year. Beloved wife of the late William David Herbert. Loving mother of Joan Greaves ( Gary ), Robert Herbert (Hanna), Linda Medhurst (late John), and Judy Hackett (Don). Dear grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Nettie is survived by her sisters Ruth Perry and Adelia Page. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOMES (Clapperton and Worsley St. ), Barrie on Monday 7-9:00pm. Service in the chapel on Tuesday April 8th at 3:00pm. Spring interment Udney Cemetery. Donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated.

HESLOP, Joan Lillian suddenly on Tuesday, April 29th, 2003. Joan Heslop of Barrie, and formerly of Toronto and Scarborough. Loving mother of Anne Edwards (Graham), and Christine (Steve). Dear grandmother of Nikki, Lynn, Katie, Melanie, Colin, and Megan, and great-grandmother of Gabbi, Sebastian, Daphne, Liam, Aiden and Olivia. Loving sister of Patrick Adams (Helen). Joan will be fondly remembered by many other relatives and friends. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, (201 Minet’s Point Road at Yonge Street ), Barrie, on Saturday after 1:00 p.m. until time of service in Chapel on Saturday, May 3rd, at 3:00 p.m. Cremation to follow. To commemorate Joan’s life, memorial donations to the Ontario Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.

HILL, Rita Ann - Peacefully at the I. O. O. F. home, Barrie on Saturday, May 31st, 2003. Rita Hill (nee Brennan) in her 99th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold Hill. Predeceased by brothers Jack, Jim, Bill, Art and sisters Evelyn Brennan and Zita Shrubole. Survived by many nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church on Tuesday at 10am. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery. Donations may be made to the I. O. O. F. Building Fund.

Dear father of Melanie and her husband Mike Scott of Orillia, Lorie Hughes and Rad Sturgess of Barrie. Loving grandfather of Justin, Joshua, Timothy, Eric and Kailee. Dear son of Betty and Jim Hughes of Brampton. Dear brother of Daniel, Billy and Elizabeth Hughes. Son in law of Doreen and Cecil Bennett of Brechin. He will be sadly missed by his many relatives and friends. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, Clapperton and Worsley St., Barrie on Thursday from 6:00pm until 9:00pm. Service in the chapel on Friday, June 27 at 1:00pm. Interment Knox Cemetery, Oro. HUTCHINSON, Marcus Eugene - Born to Karen and Ron Hutchinson at 4:34 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11th, 2003. Quietly passed away at his parents’ side at 6:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 12th, 2003, at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie. Marcus was grandson to Marjorie and Robert Hutchinson, and Marion and Casey VanBarneveld. Dear nephew to Sandra and Wendy Hutchinson, Paula VanBarneveld and Frank Bozzo, Christina VanBarneveld and Jay Meade, Alex and Claire VanBarneveld. Marcus will continue to touch the hearts of all who knew him and although his time was short, he will always be loved and never forgotten. A time of visitation will be held at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, Minet’s Point Road at Yonge Street, Barrie, on Wednesday, from 6:00 p.m. until time of funeral service in the Chapel on Wednesday, June 18th at 7:00 p.m. Memorial donations to the Royal Victoria Hospital ’s Special Care Nursery, or the R.V.H. Birthing Unit would be greatly appreciated. (Donations may be made through the Steckley-Gooderham Funeral Homes). A special thank you to all who have helped support and continue to do so, the team at the R.V.H., and the Hospital for Sick Children Neo-Natal Transport Unit.
