Hayward, Gladys May Evelyn
(née Grainger)

Born in Aylmer, Québec on September 21, 1931, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at the age of 79. Predeceased by her husband Ivan Douglas Hayward. Beloved mother of Steve (Cathy), Daniel (Kirsty) and Amanda Becking (Ian). Loving grandmother of Cole and Emma Hayward and Amelia and Sarah Becking. She is survived by one sister, one brother, her brother-in-law, her sisters-in-law, as well as nephews, nieces, and friends. The family would like to thank Laurier Manor for the great care given to our mother for the past 10 years. Relatives and friends will be received at Heritage Funeral Home, 2871 St. Joseph Blvd., Orléans, on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. A ceremony officiated by Rev. Daniel Hayward in her memory will follow at 12 p.m. in the Heritage Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated. It is with great sadness that the Carrière family annonces the passing of Guy. Peacefully on Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at the age of 80. Loving husband of Gisèle Barbary. Cherished father of Marc (Ann Collis) and Michelle Pagé (Yves). Proud grandfather of Marie-Andrée Carrière (Dominic Millaire) and Cody Carrière. Dear brother of Jeannette Lecompte (Maurice), Denis (Carmen), Raymond (the late Ghislaine), Cécile Lachapelle (Marcel), Roger (Gerda), Louise King (the late Errol). Predeceased by his siblings: Agnes (the late Edouard) and Armand. He will be missed by brother in law Gilles Barbary (Pauline Valiquette) and predeceased by sister in law, Claire Scarborough (the late Chuck) as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. The family wishes to extend a heartfelt appreciation to Dr. André Gauthier and to the staff of the 6 th floor at the Montfort Hospital. Special thanks also to the Portobello Manor. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, Aug. 22, 2011 at 11 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, 2757 St. Joseph Blvd, Orléans. Our beloved mother passed away peacefully at the Ottawa Hospital (General Campus), surrounded by her family, on Sunday April 17, 2011 at the age of 84 years. Predeceased by her parents Emmanuel Pinard and Albina Lesieur and by her husband Paul Legault. Cherished mother of Daniel (Colette Prézeau-Legault) of Orléans; Monique (Jacques Corbeil) of Navan; Lucie (Daniel Prézeau) of Ottawa. Chère grand-maman of Michel Corbeil, Martin Corbeil (Andrée Cowie), Philippe Prézeau and Carl Prézeau. Dear sister of Colombe Lépine, Pauline Taillefer (Constant), Jacques Pinard (Réjeanne) and Jean Pinard. Also predeceased by her sisters Cécile Poirier and Denise Chatelain (Guillaume); her brothers Lorenzo (Georgette), Bertrand and Pierre (Murielle). She is fondly remembered by many relatives and friends. The family would like to thank Dr. Watterson for his devotion to the care of our mother over the past six years. Special thanks to Guerda of the CSLD Montfort for her excellent care and kindness. Loving grandfather to Benoit, Marc, Mathieu, Sylvain, Pierre and Jakob. Proud great-grandfather to little Zachary. You will stay with us forever in our hearts. After a courageous battle with cancer, Rhéal passed away on March 15, 2011 at the age of 56 years. He leaves behind his mother Evelyna (née Cléroux) and he was predeceased by his father Roger Bergeron. Beloved spouse of Francine Fortier and loving father of Richard (Bonnie). Cherished grandfather of Riché, Roanan and Rylan. He will be sadly missed by his sisters : Simone (Marcel Cléroux) and Nicole (Patrice Guay), as well as many nieces and nephews, his step-daughters Valerie (Jay) and Manon and all of his good and supporting friends. Cleroux, Jerome passed away peacefully in hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011, at the age of 50. He will be dearly missed by his son Jeremy; his parents Antonio and Georgette Cleroux; his brother Martin (Marie-France); his nephews and niece Frederic Maynard, Angelique and Anthony Cleroux. He was predeceased by his sister Francine Cleroux. He will also be missed by Jody, Christine, Carole as well by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral Thursday November 25, 2010 at l'église Notre-Dame des Champs, Navan, for Mass of Christian Funeral at 11 a.m. Interment St-Joseph cemetery , Orleans. He will be greatly missed by his family and will always be in our hearts.

Piché, René

Originally of Kapuskasing and recently of Orléans, ON, peacefully passed away at home surrounded by his family on the 22nd of January, 2011 following a valiant battle with cancer. Born on May 5th, 1931 in Cache Bay, ON, he was the son of the late Louis Piché and Églantine Nadon. He leaves behind his devoted beloved wife of 59 years and best friend Olga Kowaluk; four children, Gerry of Summerland, B.C., Louise (Frank Stevens) of Barrie, ON, Robert (Kathy Veilleux) of Ottawa and Donald (Marie-Claire Fortin) of Orléans. He will also be dearly missed by his two sisters, Irène (Ben Leblanc) of Orléans and Hélène (the late Guy) Archambault of Sturgeon Falls, his sister-in-law Jeannette (the late Pat Piché) and his brother-in-law Morris (Carmen) Kowaluk. Greatly missed by seven grand-children, three step grand-children, thirteen great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. René was a newspaper publisher and a politician, having held the position of Minister of Northern Transportation for the province of Ontario and also elected twice as Mayor of Kapuskasing. A Farewell Memorial will be held on Wednesday the 26th of January at Héritage Funeral Home, 2871 St-Joseph Boulevard, Orléans, ON, between 4 and 6 pm, followed by a light dinner at the same location. Donations in René's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
