The death occured at The QEII Halifax N.S. on Wednesday May 22 2002 of Ira Birt of Charlottetown, and formerly of Fanningbrook, age 76 years.

Beloved husband of Edna (nee Jay), and loving father of George (Karen), Stratford. Grandfather of Stephen, Jamie, Stacey and special great-grandfather of Bailey. Survived by his sisters-in-law, Jean Birt and Bessie Birt.Predeceased by sisters, Stella, Florence and Hester; and by brothers, Sterling and Alden.

Resting at Maclean Funeral Home from where the service will be held in the funeral home chapel, Sunday at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Mount Stewart People's Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital or to a charity of your choice would be appreciated. Visiting hours on Saturday from 2-4 and from 7-9 p.m.

Cecil W. MacFadyen

The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Tuesday, May 21, 2002 of Cecil W. MacFadyen of Winsloe, age 89.

Husband of the late Minerva. Survived by daughters Gertie (Max) Rowsell; Etta; and Ruth (John) Neill. Grandfather and best friend of Jennifer Neill.

Resting at MacLean Funeral Home from where the Funeral service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, Thursday at 11 a.m. Interment in North Granville Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to the Salvation Army would be appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.

Margaret I. Whiteside

The death occurred at 310 North River Road on May 15, 2002 of Margaret I. Whiteside of Charlottetown, aged 100.

Wife of the late George B. Whiteside and beloved mother of Mary (Bearkeley) Ranby of Chester, England and Susan Whiteside of Charlottetown. Grandmother of Catherine Darwent, Elizabeth Bergstrand and David Ranby and great-grandmother of four great-grandchildren.

Resting at MacLean Funeral Home. Funeral from St. Paulís Anglican Church, Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery. If so desired, memorials may be made to The Anglican Church Primates World Relief and Development Fund or to the Public or School Library of your choice. Visiting hours on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m.

James C. Johnson

Peacefully at Beach Grove Home on Friday May 10 2002 of James C. Johnson of Charlottetown age 70.

Husband of Sylvia (Todd). Father of F. Grant (Alida), Keith (Sandra), and Caroline (Jay) Johannes. Grandfather of Indra, Jack, Emma, and Charlie.

Resting at MacLean Funeral Home .Funeral Tuesday from Trinity United Church at 1:30 p.m. Interment in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. If so desired memorials to the Cancer Society or The Dystronia Research Foundation would be appreciated. Visiting hours Monday from 2-4 p.m.

Elaine Myers

The death occurred at the Pallative Care Unit of the Prince Edward Home on May 6, 2002 of Elaine A. Myers of Charlottetown, wife of the late Keith Myers.

Survived by her sister Edith Robinson. Predeceased by her brother John Leard and sisters Marjorie Ferguson and Georgia Fraser.

Cremation has taken place. No visitation or funeral service by personal request. A graveside memorial service will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to MacLean Funeral Home.

Ella M. MacNeill

The death occurred at The Garden Home on Saturday December 7, 2002 of Ella MacNeill of Charlottetown age 94.

Wife of the late Harper MacNeill.

Resting at The MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where the funeral will be held in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday at 1 p.m. Interment in Sherwood Cemetery. If so desired memorials to Trinity United Church would be appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 12 noon until time of service.

Hilda Mae Moore

The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, November 28, 2002 of Hilda Mae Moore (nee Robinson) of Charlottetown, aged 78 years.

Beloved wife of Ernest and sister of Jean Gamble of Stratford, Ivan of Toronto and Warren (Carrie) of Charlottetown. Sister-in-law of Margaret Robinson and Joan (Dick) Hennessey of Charlottetown.

Predeceased by brother Keith and brothers-in-law Aubrey Gamble and Allison Moore, and by sister-in-law Bernice Gallant.

Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel from where a Memorial service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel, Monday at 11 a.m. Interment in Alexandra Baptist Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to Alexandra Baptist Church or to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital would be appreciated. Visiting hours Sunday evening only from 6 to 9 p.m.

Norma (Rowe) Mason

The death occurred at The Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday November 22 2002 of Norma Mason (nee Rowe) of Long Creek and formerly of Bedeque and Summerside age 60.

Beloved wife of Stanley. Mother of Charlene (Karchi) Perlmann and Rebecca. Grandmother of Aurielle. Sister of Harold Rowe, and Jean Wright. Sister in law of Eleanor Smith,Blanche Hooper, Clarence (Kathryn) Mason and Leila Burke.

Resting at MacLean Funeral Home -Swan Chapel. Funeral Tuesday from Cornwall Christian Church at 11 a.m. Interment in Long Creek Baptist Cemetery. If so desired memorials to Cornwall Christian Church or The P.E.I. Lung association would be appreciated. Visiting hours Monday 2-4 and 7-9.

Helen Elizabeth Cooke

Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Thursday, November 14, 2002 of Helen Elizabeth Cooke of Charlottetown, age 65 years. Daughter of the late John C. and Janet H. (Scott) Cooke. Dear sister of Constance L. Stewart of Summerside. Survived by her nephews John W. Stewart and Robert E. Stewart and their families. Predeceased by her brother-in-law Wendell E. Stewart.

Resting at MacLean Funeral Home Swan Chapel. Funeral Service from St. Columba Presbyterian Church, Marshfield, Monday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Church Cemetery. If so desired, memorials to the Oncology Dept. of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital or a charity of choice would be appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday from 2 to 4 and from 7 to 9 p.m.
