KUSNEZOW, Anton (Tony) On June 30, 2000 Mr. Anton (Tony) Kusnezow of Willingdon, Alberta passed away suddenly at the age of 79 years. Tony is survived by his loving family: one daughter, Evelyn Gilchrist of Germany; one step-daughter, Janice King and her husband, Tom Jack; two step-sons, Mike and Lou Harold; two grandchildren, John and Sarah; and one great-granddaughter, Ashley. He is also survived by his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Mike and Evelyn Fedorak; numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Predeceased by his wife, Margaret in 1993; and by his parents. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, July 14, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. at the Willingdon Evangelical Church, Willingdon with Reverend Tim Dekker officiating. Fedun's Funeral Chapel, Vegreville (780) 632-3822.

LAMASH, John On June 29, 2000 John Lamash of Edmonton, Alberta passed away at the age of 69 years. John is survived by four step-daughters, Bonnie (Emile) Caza, Flo (Marty) Standell, Sharon (Renee) Ervin, Cindy (Wayne) Driscoll; eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Russell (Judy), Bernie (Rachelle); and three sisters, Phyllis (George), Mary, Alexandria (Julian); as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his mother and father, Mike and Pearl Lamash; his wife, Florence Ervin Lamash; one brother, Harry; and two sisters, Olga and Josie. Special thanks to Donna and staff of the Norwood Palliative Care Unit. A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, July 11, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. at Steele Heights Baptist Church. 5812-149 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta. Cremation has taken place. LAMBERT, Matthew James On Tuesday, July 4, 2000 Mr. Matthew Lambert of Edmonton, Alberta passed away of heart failure at age 32 years. Matthew will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his father, Francis St. Germain; his mother, Dawn Johnson; two sisters, Melissa (Dave), Paula; one nephew, Cheyne; five uncles, Arthur St. Germain, Jimmy, Lindon, Ross and Lee Lambert; two aunts, Gladys Wortman and Margaret Lambert; as well as numerous other relatives and friends; and two special friends, Vaughn Breton and Julie MacDonald. Matthew was an average, ordinary guy until November of 1995 when he became extraordinary. It was apparent that he needed a heart transplant, which he received on June 22, 1996. We will forever be grateful to the donor family for his extended lease on life. Our family asks that everyone, please sign your donor card. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, July 10, 2000 at 1:00 p.m. at Harmony Funeral Services Chapel, 10541-81 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta. Relatives and friends viewing one hour prior to service. LaROSE, Grace Elizabeth Jane (nee Howse) The family of Mrs. Grace Elizabeth Jane LaRose (nee Howse) is saddened by her passing at the Royal Alexandra Hospital in Edmonton on Thursday, July 6, at the age of 76 years. She is survived by her loving family of three daughters, eight sons and one foster son, Michael Lewis of Spruce Grove, Violet (Bill) Stevens, Ken LaRose, Leah (Randy) LaRose, also of Edmonton, Alberta, Henry (Edna) LaRose, Andy LaRose, Blaine (Irene) LaRose, Jerry (Andrea) LaRose, Louis (Debbie) LaRose, Perry (Beautrice) LaRose, Crystal LaRose, of Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement, Alberta, and Larry (Margaret) LaRose of Moricetown, B.C. She had 51 grandchildren; 60 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father, Horace Washingten House (June 26, 1976); and mother, Eliza Jane Howse (August 17, 1977); two sisters, Melba Howse, Gertie Mae Howse; two brothers, Andrew George Howse, Marshall (Jack) Howse who passed away recently - June 4, 2000. She was also predeceased by her first husband, Edward LaRose October 26, 1997; and her second husband, Jake Jansen May 29, 1998. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. The Wake and Prayers will be held Saturday, July 8, 2000 at Sinclair Hall on the Buffalo Lake Metis Settlement. LEONG, Raymond Thai Loon After a long courageous battle with cancer, Raymond Thai Loon Leong of Edmonton passed away on July 6, 2000 at the age of 61 years. He is survived by his wife, Saw-Mei; sons, Bernard and Benjamin; and daughter, Wendy. He will be sadly missed, but will always be dearly remembered. McDONALD, Francis (Frank) Alexander On July 7, 2000, Frank McDonald of St. Albert passed away at the age of 78 years. He is survived by one brother-in-law, Chris Olsen; numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends. Frank was predeceased by two brothers, an infant, Wallace, and Duncan; six sisters, an infant Margaret Mary, Thyra (Arnold) Veness, Thelma (Charles) Victoor, Judith Olsen, Rita (Askar) Andersen and Edith McDonald.
