It is with profound sadness that the family of Hilde Priebe announces the death of this wonderful lady after a valiant battle with cancer.
She leaves to mourn her passing, her loving husband Harry; daughter Carmen (Douglas) Plemel; son David Priebe; three grandsons: Austin, Zachary, Benjamin Plemel; sisters: Martha (Immanuel) Schreiber, Frieda (Arthur) Krueger, Linda (Helmut) Karpinsky; twin sister Liese (Helmut) Penno; stepbrothers: Harvey Walter, Stanley (Julie); stepsisters: Olga Dahl, Ella (Harold) Nightingale, Irene Wegner, Jean Walter; sister-in-law Marga (Roland) Dix of Germany; cousins: Ursulla (Mike) Neuherz, Liz (Alvin) Zuch, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and countless friends.
We know you are in the arms of our loving Saviour, dearest Hilde.
A viewing will be held on Tuesday, October 2, 2012, between 7:00 and 9:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service, 5311 — 91 Street, Edmonton. A celebration of Hilde’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 3, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Zion Baptist Community Church, 9802 — 76 Avenue, Edmonton, AB.

FIEBICH, Irma (nee Ortlieb)
September 2, 1933 — September 22, 2012
On Saturday, September 22, 2012 Irma Fiebich passed away peacefully, in her sleep at home in Edmonton, at the age of 79 years.
Irma is lovingly remembered by her husband of 60 years Herman, whom she married
in Edmonton on November 6, 1952; son Roland (Lana) Fiebich; daughters: Eileen (Dave) Erickson, Rita (Peter) Schaller; brother Reinhold (Vinnie) Ortlieb; sisters-in– law: Eileen Ortlieb, Herta Ortlieb; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
Irma was predeceased by her brothers: Raymond and Paul; sister Ida; grandchildren: Thane, Clint, Jessica and Wyatt Fiebich.
A Celebration of Irma’s Life will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5104 Ellerslie Road S.W., Edmonton with Pastor James Hendrickson officiating. Interment will take place in Hay Lakes Cemetery, following reception at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations may be made to St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church or the Stollery Children’s Hospital.

It is with great sadness that the family of
Fred Christ announces his passing at the age of 77 years.
Fred is lovingly remembered by his wife Liz; children Pam (Jeremy) Klassen and Tyson (Jynel) Christ; grandchildren: Lucas, Thomas and Sophia Klassen and Caleb, Carson and Caitlyn Christ; sisters Esther Sochatsky and Ellen (Johnny) Steiger; extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Franz and Elsa Christ; sister Hannah Rossol; and brothers-in-law Kurt Rossol and Sam Sochatsky.
In celebration of Fred’s life there will be a viewing at 10:00 a.m., followed by a service at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Richmond Park Church, 9340 — 69 Avenue, Edmonton. The interment will take place at 3:30 p.m. at Glenwood Memorial Gardens.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of John on September 23, 2012, at the age 78 years.
John is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Esther; children: John (Shelley), Greg (Kimberly), Lori, and Marj; eight grandchildren: Ashley, Tyler, Brett, Mark, Ethan, Miranda, Clinton, and Britta; as well as many extended family members and friends.

MAZE, William Michael
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Willie Maze of Stony Plain, Alberta at the age of 54 years after a long courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by his beloved wife Janice, children Rick; Crystal and Shaun, their daughter Sophia; Shane and Roselette and their son Nathan. His loving mother Ann, his brother Rick and wife Robyn with their children Chris and Mandy, Laura and her children Emily and Gracie. Sister-in-law Wendy Benton her children Britta and Coleman, brother-in-law Brian Benton and wife Marion.
He was predeceased by his father William and his grandparents.

ISKIW, Lillian Julia (nee Misanchuk)
Lillian (Lil, Lily) of Edmonton, formerly of Myrnam; On Angel wings up to God and Home, on Saturday, September 8, 2012, our dearly beloved Mother passed away at the age of 98 years.
Those who have been blessed to share in Lillian’s long journey of life will miss her dearly. Lillian is survived by her children, Sylvia Mancinelli (Ben) of Surrey BC, Lloyd Iskiw (Christine) of Ponoka AB, Leonard Iskiw (Sandy) of Calgary AB; grandchildren Brent D. Peter (Connie) Vancouver BC, Shannon Gugyel (Frank), Derek Iskiw (Tutti), Aaron Esler, Laura Iskiw (Chris); great granddaughters Chelsey and Savanah, all of Calgary; sisters, Rose Kaminsky and Jessie Horne both of Edmonton AB; sisters-in-law Margaret Mackney of Vegreville AB, Sophie Wispinski Edmonton AB, Kate Miskiw of Vegreville AB, and Ann Iskiw of Kelowna BC, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Lillian is predeceased by her beloved husband Paul, sisters Mary and Ann, brothers John, Bill, Louis, Joe and Charles.
Special thanks to Dr. Lee, nursing staff and caregivers at St. Joseph’s Auxiliary Hospital for their compassionate and loving care of our Mother.

FORSYTH, Philomena
Philomena Forsyth passed away peacefully on the September 19, 2012, with her niece Valerie at her side.
Philomena received her teaching certificate in 1945 and taught in St. John, NB.
Her love of teaching was evident by her students that kept in touch with her long after her retirement.
Philomena had a smile that would light up a room. She will be remembered by all for her graciousness, her easy laugh, and her unique phrases. It is not just the sadness of losing our aunt, but also the passing of an era and an important family dynamic and the story that goes with her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 13 Brower Drive, Sherwood Park, AB on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. Philomena will be interred at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calgary on her birthday, October 19, 2012.

VAN MANEN, Edna (nee Schultz)
July 4, 1914 — September 14, 2012
It is with great sorrow our family announces the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great– grandmother. She was loved and respected for her generosity, caring and excellent memory of any occasion.
Edna was born in Lamont, AB and lived in Bruderheim and Edmonton most of her life. She is survived by her brother Raymond Schultz (Lydia) of Pennsylvania; son Johnnie (January); grandson Jeffrey all of Ventura, CA; granddaughter Julie Cushing (Gary) of Camarillo, CA; many great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. She was predeceased by her husband James in 1984, seven brothers and three sisters.
We wish to thank the relatives and friends who helped us during this difficult time. We would also like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Grey Nuns Hospital for their caring and assistance.
A Funeral Service for Edna will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bruderheim Moravian Church, Bruderheim, AB. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.

On Sunday, September 16, 2012 our beloved husband, father and grandfather passed away suddenly at his home in Sherwood Park, Alberta at the age of 60 years.
He will be greatly missed by his wife of 35 years, Vicki; daughters Rendi (Warren) and their son, Fred’s first grandchild, Kael; Abby; mother Rose; brothers Jerome, Wesley (Brenda), and Barry (fiancee Janie); sister-in– law Barb (Murray); nieces and nephews, Amy, Evan, Zachary, Donovan, Joel, Rachel and a host of friends.
Fred was predeceased by his father John; sister Marlene; brothers Raymond and Peter.

It is with heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Vicki on September 18, 2012 at the age of 82 years.
Vicki is survived by her loving husband Casper; son Bill (Margaret) and daughter Jo– Ann. She is predeceased by her parents Annie and Peter Magerowsky.
Cremation has taken place.
