On Wednesday, November 21, 2012 George of Pakan, Alberta passed away peacefully at the Lamont Health Centre, at the age of 83 years.
Left to cherish his many memories are his wife of 48 years, Mary; four sons, Jamie (Tina and family), Gary (Juanita) and their children Annika and Carter, Dwayne, Donnie; and George’s companion Little Doggie; also other relatives and a host of friends.
A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. at the National Hall, Smoky Lake, Alberta with Father Gerasim (Power) officiating. Interment to follow at St. Elias Ukrainian Orthodox Church Cemetery, Pakan.

ERTMAN, Clara Ottelia
Clara passed into the arms of Jesus at the age of 94.
She is lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her children Eunice Ford, Lorna (Bill) Potter, Ray (Linda) Ertman, Lil (Zane) Wispinski.
She was a much-loved grandmother to 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her brothers Alf (Mary), Mel (Pat) and Lorne (Lil), one brother-in-law Paul Breitkreutz, and two sisters-in-law Kit Kublik and Elsie Harke.
A Celebration of Clara’s life will be held on Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Zion Evangelical Missionary Church in New Sarepta, Alberta.
KUHN, Beatrice Ann
April 9, 1927 – November 24, 2012
Miss Beatrice Kuhn passed away peacefully in her sleep at Leduc Extendicare.
Beatrice is survived by Wesley (Delores) Kuhn, Robert (Ruth) Kuhn, Alma Kuhn, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Beatrice was predeceased by seven brothers and five sisters, five sisters-in– law and two brothers-in-law.
Interment will be at the Rabbit Hill Baptist Cemetery on December 1, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with a Memorial Service December 1, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Rabbit Hill Baptist Church, 25439A Twp. Rd. 510, Leduc County, Alberta.
Donations can be made to the Rabbit Hill Baptist Church or to a charity of one’s choice.
SHARP, Travis James
On Saturday, November 17, 2012 Travis of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta passed away suddenly at the age of 43 years.
He will be lovingly remembered by his parents Glen and Arlene; brother Kevin; his children Kelsee, Layne, Kale and their mother Kim; grandmother Laura Johnston, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and many friends. Travis was predeceased by his brother Stacy in February 2012.
A Celebration of Travis’s Life will be held on Monday November 26, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Moyer Recreation Complex, Josephburg, Alberta with Reverend Ray Olsen officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the Edmonton Humane Society. Gordon and Cindy Kadatz directors in care of arrangements.
LISCHUK, Marina Louise (Beggs)

Marina passed away peacefully on November 23, 2012 at the age of 50 surrounded by the love of her family.
She will be loving remembered by her husband Gordon and their two beloved boys Peter and Ryan; her parents John and Lorreen Beggs; sister Lorna Selig (Kevin Danyluik); nephews: Liam and Jackson; sister Sandra Beggs (Ashley O’Kurley); nephew Rainen and niece Amaia; mother-in-law Zinnia Lischuk, brothers-in-law: Glenn and Chris Lischuk; nephews: David and Andrew (Alex) Lischuk; niece Candace (Curtis) Hendrickson and their daughter Natalie. She is also survived by brother-in-law John Lischuk, niece Jessalyn (Dion) Curry and their daughters Jade and Violet; nephew Nick (Amanda) Lischuk and Denise Lischuk, as well as many friends and relatives.Marina is predeceased by her father– in-law Peter Lischuk.
A celebration of Marina’s life will be held on Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Serenity Funeral Service North Chapel, 10129 Princess Elizabeth Avenue, Edmonton, AB.
In lieu of flowers, Marina has asked that donations be made in her name to the Norwood Hospice in Edmonton, AB.

It is with profound sadness, we announce the passing of Jim, after a courageous battle with cancer.
He is survived by Darlene, his loving wife of 46 years; two sons: Chris and his wife Melanie, Jeff and his children Ashley, Jack and Ray; as well as numerous relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Fred; mother, Pauline and his sister, Betsy.
An informal Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held on Sunday, November 25, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Leefield Community League, 7910–36 Avenue, Edmonton, Alberta. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alberta Cancer Foundation or a charity of one’s choice would be appreciated.
KUZIO, Clay
On Sunday, November 18, 2012 Mr. Clayton Kuzio of Vernon, BC and formerly Auburn, CA passed away with family by his side at the age of 61. After a brief battle with cancer Clayt left this earth to be with his mother Doreen, father Mike, and brother Mickey Kuzio.
He leaves behind his daughter Amber (Ryan) White and three grandchildren Ethan, Korsen & Jilian; siblings Chaddy Russell (George, more a brother than friend), Doug Kuzio (Molly), Karen Pajak, Ken Kavanaugh (Grace) and numerous nieces & nephews, along with a man’s best friend his dogs Callaway & Leo.
His free spirit and sociable personality will leave many wonderful friends around the world at a loss.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, November 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion, 9964-93Avenue, Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Ronald Warren Hetherington, beloved husband of Audrey Hetherington, after a lengthy battle due to complications of asbestoses on Saturday November 17, 2012.
He is survived by his son Alexander (Sandy) Hetherington; daughter Marcia Hetherington; grandchildren: Leah Deans, Mitchell Hetherington, Fraser and Clayton Leonard; his great-grandchildren: Brooklynn and Londyn Deans; his sisters: Jean Hetherington and Mae DeJong. He is predeceased by his parents Alexander (Alec) and Grace Hetherington as well as his sister Donna Wilson.
There will be a Celebration of his Life at the Glenmore Inn in Calgary, Alberta in the Heritage Room at 12:00 p.m. November 24, 2012. Special thanks to the doctor’s and the staff at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, in Edmonton, for their compassionate care. It is with great sadness and much love that we say goodbye to our beloved husband, father, brother and friend, Donald Albert Gouldhawke, who passed away suddenly at the age of 60 years.
Donald will be remembered by his beloved wife Krista; sons: Daniel (Dany), Julian; sister Pat; brothers: Harvey, Clem, and his in-laws Raymond and Greta.

Mueller of Spruce Grove passed away peacefully at the age of 80 years.
Bernie leaves his loving wife Merna (Julie) of 49 years, son Murray (Maria), daughter Shauna (Mark Bisanz) and his 5 grandchildren Michael, Christopher, Carli Ann, Mason and Marisa.
He is survived by Elizabeth Neville, Erwin Mueller, Lucy Jungwirth, Regina Mueller, Ciem (Delores) Mueller, Philip (Tina) Mueller, Linda (Bob) Schaefer and sister in laws Hedi and Shirley Mueller. He is also survived by the Smigelski family and many friends.
Preceded by his parents Mary and Carl Mueller; siblings Mary (Otto) Herring, Albert Mueller, Lou (Jack) Burton, and Alphonse Mueller; brother in laws, Court Neville, Philip Jungwirth, and Fred Smigelski.
A private service will be held for the immediate family following the cremation. The family is hosting an open house to celebrate Bernie’s life on November 25, 2012 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the Pioneer Centre, Meicor Room, 301 Jespersen Avenue, Spruce Grove. STURKENBOOM, Gwendolyn Mary
October 27, 1936 — November 20, 2012
Gwendolyn Mary Sturkenboom (nee Arnold) of Sherwood Park, AB went peacefully into the presence of the Lord on November 20, 2012 at the age of 76. She was looking forward to being reunited with her husband George who had predeceased her in 2009.
Gwen was a hard-working woman who raised four boys, supported her husband’s career, and took great pleasure in making people laugh. It was recently said that “anyone who met Gwen loved her.” Gwen is survived by her three sisters, two brothers, four sons and daughters-in-law (Mike and Melora; Peter and Carmen; Paul and Lori-Anne; John and Mary Anne), eleven grandchildren, seven great– grandchildren, and countless friends. She will be missed tremendously.
Funeral services will be held at Richmond Park Evangelical Missionary Church, 9340–69 Avenue, Edmonton, AB on Saturday, November 24, 2012 at 10:00 am.

Annie was predeceased by her parents John and Katie Horiachka; husband Bill, and brothers: Mike, Bill, Alex and Nick.

Edward passed away early Saturday morning after a heart attack, shortly after his 95th birthday.
He is survived by: Sylvia and Ed Klarenbach of Edmonton; grandchildren: Christopher and Tammy Klarenbach of Calgary, and Jennifer Klarenbach of Edmonton. Beverley and David Ledgerwood of Saskatoon, SK; grandchildren: Kathy Ledgerwood of Saskatoon, Kari Ledgerwood and Darcy Olsen of Banff; great– grandchildren: Kendra Olsen and Christopher Olsen of Banff. Emery and Karen Ruff of Rainy River, ON; grandchildren: Amy Ruff and Robert Sinding, Robin and Jacques D’Astous of Langford, BC, and Jon and Sasha Ruff of Brisbane, Australia; great-grandchildren: Abigail Sinding Ruff of Rainy River, ON, Gabrielle and Arlo D’Astous of Langford, BC; as well as many nieces and nephews will all miss Uncle Eddie.
Edward was predeceased by his parents, Eduard (1962) and Helen (nee Gittel) (1939); his wife, Leonora Louise (nee Beck) (1983); siblings: Rose Flaig, John Ruff, Joe (Jacob) Ruff, Fred Ruff, Albert Ruff, Louise Leple, William Ruff and Helen Miller.
Memorial Service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 9654 — 74 Avenue N.W., Edmonton, AB, on Wednesday, November 21st at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Cliff Haberstock officiating. Interment will follow on Thursday, November 22nd in Medicine Hat.
